Tiesto creates epic big room house remixes unlike anyone else. He just took the catchy single “Carried Away” from indie band Passion Pit and turned it into a full on floor shaking Progressive House bomb. The music video to go along with it is just as huge as the song itself. It shows these people eating colorful powder, throwing match down their throat.. then exploding into multiple versions of themselves. Then the video gets extra bizzare. All in all a perfect way to launch what is sure to be the next big anthem.

2012 was one of the biggest years for electronic music and house especially with countless new artists from all over the world gaining international followings. One of the biggest breakthroughs was young Dutch progressive / electro house star Nicky Romero who is only 24. This year he saw quite a lot of success with over 10 different huge charting singles, many of which hitting the #1 spot on Beatport even a few overall #1 spots. On top of his impressive solo anthems he collaborated with just about everyone including: Fedde Le Grand, David Guetta, Zedd, Nervo, ZROQ, Calvin Harris, and even ending the year wit Avicii. Pretty Lights – So Bright (ft. Eligh) : Must Hear New Electro-Soul / Dubstep Original

Pretty Lights has been locking himself away any chance he’s not playing some massive festival, and has been working on his biggest project to date, an album featuring all original samples recorded from muscians that he has found. We already got the first sample with “You Get High” and “We Must Go On” and “I Know The Truth” might be on the allbum. Well here’s “So bright”, a track that starts out slow before building up to a glitchy melodic anthem filled with some distored vocals. The vocals are from Eligh of Living Legends, are pack so much emotion while being so distorted. It’s a song that paints a story, and I can’t stop replaying it.
