I think that it might actually be impossible for The Weeknd to create something bad. Here are the latest extra clean visuals for one of his most highly acclaimed song “The Zone” featuring Drake, which appeared on his second mixtape Thursday. The visuals have a variety imagery ranging from shots of Abel (The Weeknd), Drake, and even the girl and balloons all capturing the essence of the Thursday album artwork.. The very well done video is actually directed by Abel himself. Look out for this, alongside all three albums getting re-released a 3 disc package Trilogy. Enjoy!

Today I’ve got an exciting release from John Bellion, the newest artist who is apart of the Visionary Music Group, home to the very talented Tayyib Ali and Logic. It’s an all original indie / R&B cover to the track “The Motto” by Drake. John turned the hip-hop track into a real beautiful piano fueled track. Today I’ve got a filthy remix of the Lil Wayne track featuring Drake track “She Will”, but only Drake on this one. This remix is from Chicago based producer Stratus. He’s got a great sound blending the slow melodic buildups and the crunchy bass the comes crashing in. He’s got a little Kill the Noise sound as well, and he’s played some shows with him, so that makes sense, that. It’s sick even for the Drake haters. Turn it up, enjoy!

Drake teams up with fellow Canadian based singer The Weeknd. The outcome really captures The Weeknd’s electronic passionate sound. The blend between the soft and Drake’s soft rapping makes for a real sick track. The beat has the simple, yet powerful feel. Obviously I know this song’s not for everyone, but I think it will really grow on some of you. It took me awhile to dig the Weeknd, but now I love some of his stuff. Enjoy!

Drake – Lord Knows (Ft. Rick Ross) : New Chill Hip Hop Collaboration

Drake is about to drop his second album, and just teamed up with Rick Ross for a real sick new track. The production is very on point by Just Blaze. Not going to lie, this might be one of the my favorite Drake tracks I’ve ever heard. He raps throughout, and doesn’t do that slow R&B voice that only girls really dig. Ricky Ross spits some fire on the second part of this track, complimenting Drake perfectly. This song has been on repeat all day, turn it up, enjoy!

Although their are some newer names breaking into the mainstream music scene, Drake is defintely one of the top guys already in the mainstream. Today we’ve got the second single off his upcoming album Take Care (Album artwork above). This track ‘Make Me Proud’ featuring Nicki Minaj is pretty sick. I’m not into the mainstream sounding stuff, as I just think alot of what’s out their isn’t very good, but this track is real sick. The beat is super on point, with a little electronic added to it giving it a a good feel. Drake kills it on this track, when Nicki comes in it kind of throws me off, but that’s how it is almost every time I hear her voice, no offense. Check this out, turn it up, enjoy!

Dj Khaled ft. Drake & Lil Wayne – I’m On One (Styles&Complete Remix) : Must Hear BANGER REMIX

So the hit ‘Im On One‘ just got remixed by KillaGraham a few days ago, and now I’ve got a more fast paced high energy remix of the track from Styles&Complete. There the guys who brought you the Knuck if You Buck and Bombs Over Baghdad remixes. These Dj’s are sick remix producers because they are both veteran’s in the Hip-Hop game and dominate the music scene in Charlotte, NC. The song starts with a pretty Hip-Hop feel then quickly drops into a heavy vocal lead synth. You can tell these guys know what they are doing because the song hits incredibly hard and the beat could probably stand as a single by itself, yet they expertly manage to squeeze the acapella clearly into all the huge sounds. Drake – Headlines : New Chill Hip-Hop Track

Drake is back with the first single off upcoming album Take Care. It’s got a chill simple beat with Drake delivering his signature flow. It’s produced by Boi-1da & 40, the guys who produced Drake’s earlier tracks ‘Over’ and ‘Miss Me’ which were both hits, so you can expect this to do the same. I don’t typically post much Drake, but this track stands out to me. Enjoy!

Today I’ve got another dubstep remix falling in the chillstep category, where’s it’s still got the MASSIVE dubstep bass, but with a smooth vibe to it. KillaGraham has taken the single ‘I’m On One’ from Dj Khaled ft. Drake & Lil Wayne and loaded it full of bass. It’s got a similar sound to his Kid Cudi – Cudi Zone remix. Paper Diamond – All We Do Is (Drake ft. Fabolous – Throw It In The Bag [Remix]): Sick New Electronic / Dubstep Anthem

Paper Diamond, becoming a houshold name through his epic Kanye West – Power dubstep remix that really became an anthem in the past couple months. Also gaining alot of recognition from his debut EP Levitate, and latest remix of Turnin Me On featuring Keri Hilson and Wiz Khalifa. He impressed alot of people at Snow Ball during the festival and at after parties. If you’ve caught any of his sets in the past month or so you’ll recognize this new exclusive remix. He took the intro to Drake’s ‘Throw It In The Bag’ and looped it and made it into a very sick dubstep sounding almost jazzy remix that is pretty epic in it’s own chilled out way. It’s very catchy and unique sounding and has a slow, yet needed start, and you really have to just listen to it and judge for yourself, and i’m sure most will fall in love. Be on the look out for some upcoming Paper Diamond concert dates and a couple future shirt collaborations. Check out this song that is sure to become the next anthem, enjoy!

Mixtapes and freely distributed albums are one of the best way an artist can get their music out to a mass amount of people. Some mixtapes are  so-so, and others just blow you away. Some are so good it’s hard to believe they are free. and that’s why every single one of these artists are blowing up so fast. 2010 had a huge amount of quality mixtapes/ free albums, and it was hard, but I’ve picked the 15 best, and a few honorable mentions because it was too hard to pick just 15.
