One of the heaviest and biggest names in bass music, Canada's Excision, has linked up with Scandinavian duo Pegboard Nerds for a massive bass collaboration to set the year off. "Bring The Madness" brings out the melody driven high paced edge you can expect from the nerds meshed with the signature overly brutal sound you can expect from Excision. The vocals from Mayor Apeshit provide an interesting touch and help offset the intense rollercoaster ride of a production. Enjoy!

The live electronic band Savoy have been non stop touring around the country with their impressive laser setup. In the middle of the all the touring they had time to create an extremely impressive 4 song release. It’s the Personal Legend EP and we are happy to be sponsoring it. The first song “The Bridge” has captures their classic electro house sound with a funk filled edge. The second track on the EP, “AfterShock” is the MASSIVE dubstep paced collaboration between Savoy and Big Gigantic and WHOA.. this is one for the books. It perfectly fuses the best parts of Savoy and Big Gigantic for an onslaught of bass, melody, and emotion. Then up next is “Kidz” which is an extra frightening electro rave anthem, not one for the faint of heart. Last up is “Hard to Say” which is melodic drum and bass beast to end the release. All 4 tracks are dope, and what better then to give them all out for free? Don’t miss their previous Supertrail EP for free download as well. Turn this up, enjoy!

Let me introduce you to Don Winsley, a MASSIVE producer from Asheville, North Carolina. Rise Of the Weasel King is his newest project featuring 10 tracks spanning over countless genres. He fuse some fresh noises with a some brutal bass sounds for a combination I’ve never heard. One of my favorite tracks was one of the more groove filled almost disco tracks “You Move Me” featuring Nashville duo Cherub. Then on the other side of the spectrum was some of the more brutal dubstep BANGERS like the album titled track “Rise Of The Weasel King”. Also thrown in a varity of other tracks you sounding like nothing you’ve ever heard, including and spacey anthem “Space Is The Place”. All in all it was a quality album, although not available for download, it is for purchase through beatport. You can also stream the whole thing below. Enjoy!

It’s always refreshing hearing a completely new version of a track you love, not necessarily harder all the time. Today I’ve got the Netsky VIP remix to Rusko’s ‘Everyday’, the massive dubstep anthem that got released earlier this year. There was the original Netsky remix posted here, and DEFEP’s electro house take on the track, but this one may take the cake. It’s got a prolonged chill intro, and the heavier drop doesn’t come in till the end, really making have more suspense. Turn up the bass for this track, enjoy!
