Porter Robinson and Mat Zo’s monstrous collaborative hit “Easy” commissioned a few official remixes, including a standout drum and bass rendition from UK stationed Andy C. He brings in the tracks lightly altering the original by speeding it up and adding minor beefed up drums. Then around 1:30 he lets the listener gets a powefuly blast of signature drum and bass greatness still somehow keeping the overall happy nature of the original. It’s not easy keeping the essence of an original while making it so your own. Mat Zo just released one of the biggest Essential Mixes to date and it featured a handful of unforgettable unreleased tracks from himself, one of which broke genres unlike any other, “Caller ID”. This song has a certain tribal meets trap with some hints of drum an bass all tied together to some of the chillest vibes that will have you destroying the replay button. It has some traits of his previous MRSA drum and bass alias then his newer trance / house Mat Zo sound. Their is currently no release information other then a future Anjuna Beats release. This is going to be a game changer for Mat Zo. Turn this up, enjoy!

The live electronic band Savoy have been non stop touring around the country with their impressive laser setup. In the middle of the all the touring they had time to create an extremely impressive 4 song release. It’s the Personal Legend EP and we are happy to be sponsoring it. The first song “The Bridge” has captures their classic electro house sound with a funk filled edge. The second track on the EP, “AfterShock” is the MASSIVE dubstep paced collaboration between Savoy and Big Gigantic and WHOA.. this is one for the books. It perfectly fuses the best parts of Savoy and Big Gigantic for an onslaught of bass, melody, and emotion. Then up next is “Kidz” which is an extra frightening electro rave anthem, not one for the faint of heart. Last up is “Hard to Say” which is melodic drum and bass beast to end the release. All 4 tracks are dope, and what better then to give them all out for free? Don’t miss their previous Supertrail EP for free download as well. Turn this up, enjoy!

Let me introduce you to Don Winsley, a MASSIVE producer from Asheville, North Carolina. Rise Of the Weasel King is his newest project featuring 10 tracks spanning over countless genres. He fuse some fresh noises with a some brutal bass sounds for a combination I’ve never heard. One of my favorite tracks was one of the more groove filled almost disco tracks “You Move Me” featuring Nashville duo Cherub. Then on the other side of the spectrum was some of the more brutal dubstep BANGERS like the album titled track “Rise Of The Weasel King”. Also thrown in a varity of other tracks you sounding like nothing you’ve ever heard, including and spacey anthem “Space Is The Place”. All in all it was a quality album, although not available for download, it is for purchase through beatport. You can also stream the whole thing below. Enjoy!

It’s always refreshing hearing a completely new version of a track you love, not necessarily harder all the time. Today I’ve got the Netsky VIP remix to Rusko’s ‘Everyday’, the massive dubstep anthem that got released earlier this year. There was the original Netsky remix posted here, and DEFEP’s electro house take on the track, but this one may take the cake. It’s got a prolonged chill intro, and the heavier drop doesn’t come in till the end, really making have more suspense. Turn up the bass for this track, enjoy!
MiMoSA continunes to blowup across the country playing countless shows and just recently dropping the September mix. Well he’s more known for his high energy bangers like Come Around and Still Ballin remixes, but today I’ve got a more chilled out track. It’s called Sanctuary, and it’s off the album Sanctuary coming out October 25th. It defintely sounds a lot different from the more bass heavy 58 degrees EP. I’m really liking this mellowed out drum and bass sounding track, which still maintains the distinguishable soulful MiMOSA sounds and vibe. This track is perfect in the morning, working, driving, and just about everything else. It’s definitely got a different vibe then most the stuff I post up here, which I love to do, open up peoples minds to new music. Turn it up, chill out, enjoy!

Drum and Bass is a genre that I’ve posted far to little of on the site, and It’s mainly because I’ve been a die hard drum and bass fan. Well today I’ve got a real sick chill drum and bass remix by Netsky of UK singer Jessie J’s track ‘Nobody’s Perfect. This is a chill electronic track, which is an area I’m going to try and feature more of, because sometimes you want electronic music, but don’t want something that intense. As I bonus I’ve included his more heavy remix of Rusko’s latest anthem Everyday. Check out this sick remix, enjoy!
