Wow.. It is incredible watching musicians careers progress, and Candyland are most defintely some of these. We first posted the bass heavy Santa Barbara based duo back in late 2010 with their Rick Ross dubstep bootleg, since then, the group has became a nationally touring group, has won multiple Beatport remix contests including a Skrillex one, and recently got signed to Young Money Entertainment. Just recently the duo announced they would be releasing their biggest project to date,  Bring the Rain EP set to release on Spinnin Records. For this world famous label, they have delivered their most impressive work to date Bring the Rain EP which released today everywhere. This 7 track EP spans from Electro House to Dubstep and both a Glitch Hop and Drum and Bass track slipped in. It really shows how incredibly diverse and talented the duo is. The infectious collaboration “Love Is All I Got” between electronic beast Feed Me and folk / electronica group Crystal Fighters just got a proper music video fit for broadcasting worldwide. The video starts by following around a guy and girl that are getting ready for a halloween party, where the guy comes dressed as supe hero version of the Feed Me monster.. then they two start hooking up.. Life Lesson: you will always be spending all of your time increasing your chances of hooking up with the special someone. Enjoy!

Datsik & Bassnectar – Elevate + Yes : Filthy New Dubstep Collaboration + Old One

Today I’ve got a sick new track Huge producers Datsik and Bassnectar. Now these two are simply crushing it right now, consistently putting out new material. We’ve heard these two collaborate on the track Yes, which got released as a free download earlier this year, and posted below. This new track starts off pretty mellow but then builds up to epic-ness you’d expect on a collaboration like this one. The drop has a huge screaming lead synth, with massive bass. The “La – Di – Da – De” sample is a great touch. The track Yes is a massive Reggae influenced track with a ton of bass. I love the combination of the two producers, and both really shine through. Turn up the bass and enjoy!

Dirtyphonics – Sick French Electro/Drum & Bass: Electric Daisy Carnival CO Sick DJ Post 5 of 5

Dirty Phonics was another group who I had never heard of until seeing their name on the lineup for this year’s EDC Colorad. Once I listened to some of their songs, and saw a live video, I knew that I was in for a sick performance. Dirtyphonics Performs from 2:30-4:00 at the bassPOD. Because these guys look like they know how to get down you’ll be seeing me catch them close down EDC. Here are a song that bangs HARD! And it’s the first Drum and Bass track i’ve featured on the site, let me hear some opinions. Enjoy!
