Electric Forest 2013 Lineup Phase 2 Including Grizmatik with Special Guests, Above & Beyond, Morgan Page, Eskmo and more!

One of our favorite festival Electric Forest taking place in the actual forest at in Rothbury, Michigan has now unveiled phase 2 of it’s amazingly diverse lineup. It will be taking place over the weekend of June 27th – 30th.

The addtions to the already incredible lineup include Grizmatik with Special Guests, Above & Beyond, Morgan Page, The Polish Ambassador, Eskmo, Eliot Lipp, Cyril Hahn, A Tribe Called Red, No Regular Play, Lance Herbstrong, Nigel Hall, Brooklyn’s Own, Quixotic, Russ liquid, Orchard Lounge, LYNX, The Main Squeeze, The Floozies, Mutrix, We Got Plenty, DVBBS, Beard -o- Bees, DOPAPOD, Thriftworks, and Nth Power.

We are extra excited for the Grizmatik with Special Guests set, because last year Griz and Gramatik had their first set togeher as Grizmatik at the secret Thissongissick Forest at at EF. Last year they brought out Dominic Lolli from Big Gigantic, to form Big Grizmatik, which was a very special show indeed. We can only hope that is who the “Special Guests” might be.

Electric Forest Festival 2013 Lineup : Huge Lineup for Incredible Festival Feat. Pretty Lights, Knife Party, Passion Pit & 50 More!

After annoucing the new dates and video a few weeks back we get the next jaw dropping lineup for Electric Forest. They pick a diverse and very impressive lineup once again. This year is absolutely no different with Pretty Lights returning to headline alongside Knife Party, Passion Pit. A-Trak, String Cheese Incident, Empire of the Sun, and that is just a taste. This is just the initial lineup also, they will be announcing more. What do you think of the lineup so far?

Electric Forest 2013 Announces Dates + Recap Video : One of the Best Camping Festivals in the United States

Yesss… Electric Forest just announced dates for it’s 2013 festival, this time taking place 4 days over the weekend of June 27th – June 30th. It takes place in Michigan at the very awesome location of JJ Resort Ranch which is a Forest which has countless options of camping and VIP camping, and even cabins and hotels. It was my first camping festival 2  summers ago, and I could not have been happier. Look above at the video as it takes you through glimpses of artists playing all the different stages, all of the art, and even a shot of the legendary waterpark. The festival has a great blend of electronic and live acts, and some hip-hop thrown in there. Last year we got to hook someone up with a VIP experience, and this year will be doing some more contests. You can be sure to expect This Song Is Sick as there is nothing that could stop us from making it out to the forest once again!

Last year we had the incredible opportunity to host a secret TBA set at Electric Forest on the Saturday night at the Forest Stage which hosted the first performance ever of a super side group Big Grizmatik featuring Dominic Lalli of Big Gigantic, GRiZ, and both members of Gramatik. Grizmatik has since released a single with music video and played some other secret sets and will be one of the headliners at this years SnowBall in Colorado. Last summer when I went out this was my first camping music festival and it seriously blew my mind. It was easily one of the best weekends I had ever had.
