The always amazing Feed Me has done it again, surprising us this time with a rendition of Caribou's 'Back Home'. The UK Producer quoted on his Soundcloud saying “I have loved Caribou's music for a long time so I sang and produced this my own way for fun.”
A departure from his usual high energy style, Feed Me takes the original tracks more upbeat and light sound and twists in his own flare making it more dark and eerie. His signature synths are present and when layered over the drum pattern paired with his own vocals really make this quite an amazing cover. This reminds us of his also 2011 cover remix of Two Door Cinema club's "What You Know" and is hopefully a sign of more covers to come from Feed Me. Stream the song only for now and check back for a release or free download. Enjoy

One of Flume's good friends in Australia is the duo Hermitude who you may remember from the popular remix of their song Hyperparadie by Flume himself, and the recent massive GANZ flip of that song. The exciting duo just moments ago released a brand new original titled "Ukiyo" with the simple caption "a little taste of new Hermitude", and if this is only a taste, I can not wait for more. It definitely has some Flume influence, yet packing their own signature twist. The vocals get sampled and distorted into an instrument of sorts and really help make the track. Stream for now and hopefully we will get more info.
Hermitude is going on a UK + Germany tour, see dates below the player. Enjoy!

The buzz surrounding producer / DJ extraordinaire Skrillex and rapper Chance the Rapper unexpected time in the studio is the talk of the music world currently with the potential for future collaborations at stake (see above in studio alongside Mike Will Made It). Skrillex unleashed the first of their sessions at his intimate Brooklyn show apart of his Takeover tour last night. The production doesn't sound like your typical Skrillex track and is more of a hip-hop song as opposed to a dubstep banger with Chance's charismatic vocals abundant throughout the length of it. Regardless of this being a very rough quality camera video, it gives us the first sample of what sounds like some serious chemistry between the artists. Enjoy

Though much has changed over the years as our Boulder, Colorado friends Big Gigantic have grown in popularity, their specialty of producing timeless bass infused electro-soul / funk music that pays homage to jam band roots has only increased with experience. Producer and Saxophone player Dominic Lalli has left nothing behind as he delivers the groups' fifth studio album The Night Is Young hours before embarking on a massive winter tour alongside live drummer Jeremy Salken. The easily digestible album consists of eight tracks for the masses to bust the proverbial groove to whether it be listening amongst yourself or experiencing their legendary live shows. Outside of Big Gigantic's two singles "Touch The Sky" and "The Night Is Youg ft. Cherub" released leading up to the album, "Blue Dream" might take the claim as our favorite track on the album; capturing that signature funky soulful side of Big Gigantic with just the right amount of electro grit we can't get enough of. The release is available as a free download below and is also on iTunes. Enjoy
