British singing sensation Ellie Goulding has made a name for herself by adding her own flavor of pop-tinged vocals to rather experimental electronic tracks. Though for her 3rd and most recent album Delirium, out November 2015, she made a conscious effort to create her most pop-oriented album to date, declaring in an interview with NME, "A part of me views [Delirium] as an experiment – to make a big pop album."

Well today her Jordan Evans assisted remix of Jaheim's 2001 hit "Just In Case" has her going back to her experiemental roots. As Jordan Evans delivers a chilled out, house remix of the previously R&B slow jam, Ellie struts her stuff showing off her sultry voice and keen attention to vocal arrangements and harmonies. Ellie Goulding_

British bombshell vocalist Ellie Goulding shares the first new song since her incredible cover of Hozier's hit "Take Me to Church". This brand new single "On My Mind" features some incredible production from past collaborator Max Martin (Responsible for "Love Me Like You Do"). We hear Max tap some fresh future bass influence that acts as the perfect groundwork for Ellie's smooth vocals to come in and take your feels away. This is very different then anything we've heard from Ellie in years, sounding almost like a remix as opposed to an original and we are loving it.

"I really like it, it's very different for me, but I think it's a good different." -Ellie said about the track.

Enjoy the first single from her 2016 22 song album 'Delirium' below and let us know thoughts on the new direction for Ellie?

Ellie Goulding

It’s been at least a few weeks, or even months, since we’ve seen a good Ellie Goulding remix haha, well now that changes thanks to Henry Krinkle. The talented producer responsible for the "Stay" single, or remix, of Ella Henderson's "Mirror Man" has been continuing to make quite a global name and couldn’t be more of an exciting choice to remix Ellie.

He has flipped her single “Love Me Like You Do” from earlier this year, and has given it a complete facelift. With mood setting synths, extra tight drums, and just the right vocal distortion combined with perfect ambient effects makes for a simply chilling remix. Listen below and grab a download, enjoy!
