This EP showcases many different sounds from BN while sticking to his raw, extra gritty roots. Here is some words from BN on the EP:
"The idea of the Strictly Raw Vol 1. release is to take 1 drumachine + 1 or 2 synths and make a track with it. Over the last years friends came in and out of my studio and sometimes we end up jaming on my machines. Since it’s #BNR10YR I wanted to collect the good ones and put them all together and there is some serious magic going on :) As a DJ you always look out for these timeless house or techno music and here are 8 tracks that go from breaks to techno to acid to classic house, all analog, all strictly raw !!" - Alex Ridha

The very exciting Philadelphia-based producer Louis Futon has been making a name for himself with originals like his self-titled EP earlier this year, and remixes of G-Eazy, Odesza, Phony Ppl and more. Just a few weeks back the producer showed a completely new side to his music with "Oakland Tho", which showcased a heavier production. Today, we hear another step into a more diverse heavy side of the producer's style. The "Tree / Impala" EP is a two track release that was just put out through Plastician's Terrorrythm label, who just released the impressive GANZ record last month.
"Tree" is the type of song that makes you want to jump around and break things, in the best way possible. It is an almost eerie, truly epic anthem of a song, packing screeching high pitched synths and beastly drums for a song that can only be played loud. "Impala" is a more melodic track, with fresh buildups and party starting drops. Both songs are now available as a free download. Stream and grab a copy below. Enjoy!

Montreal bass producer SNAILS just won't stay off our radar this year. The genre-alluding heavyweight already released collaborations with Jack U on "Holla Out" as a part of their album, a huge anthem with Big Gigantic on "Funk With Me",, a free collab remix with Brillz on "Crazy", and his most recent single "King Is Back".
Well, he is back with his biggest release yet, the #FREETHEVOMIT EP, which is his first true EP release. Today we got to hear the first slimy electro house single "VMPR". He's passing the EP out as a true free download, his way of thanking his fans for all the continuous support, and to celebrate his HUGE SNAILIN USA Tour Pt. 2 (which includes festival plays at EDC Vegas, Electric Forest, Paradiso Festival, Moonrise, ileSoniq, North Coast amongst many more).
#FREETHEVOMIT takes you on quite the bass journey starting off with the much anticpated "Murda Sound", into the previously heard electro house weapon "VMPR", and lastly his massive bass filled future house collab with Ghastly on the VIP of "King Is Back".
You can stream and download the EP for FREE below via a direct download, iTunes, Beatport or you can get a very special BitTorrent exlusive bundle which also includes prior releases from both OWSLA and Kannibalen including "Wild", "Pump This", "Stomp", "King Is Back" and many more!

[PREMIERE] Yeah Nah Releases Incredible Debut Self Titled EP : Melodic Trap / Future Bass [Free Download]Posted in Bangin, Premieres by nick | Tags: Ep, Free Download, Future Bass, Trap, Yeah Nah
The amount of talent that is coming out of Australia seems to be a never ending stream with internationally successful acts like Flume, Chet Faker, What So Not, Carmada, Flight Facilities and many more paving the way for fellow Aussie producers to follow in their footsteps. Well today we are excited to introduce you to a brand new duo out of Sydney going by Yeah Nah consisting of producer Kailo who we heard on his unbelievably catchy song "Need Ya" has teamed up with fellow Sydney longtime friend and producer apart of the duo "Interlude" on something very special.
For the new duo's first release ever they have an exciting 3 track, self titled EP, with each track packing a different musical flavor, similar to Neapolitan ice cream. The EP opens with the track "Elephant" that sets the tone with a melodic horn driven heavy hitting trap tune with a funky African twist. The second track "Tribe" which is possibly our favorite track on the release packs a dreamy, future bass feel featuring vocals from Cam Nacson. Last but not least is an all out bass riot titled "Nangirri" full of sounds ranging from a kids choir to gritty 808 filled drops packing a certain Mr. Carmack vibe yet very unique which acts as the perfect closing note to the amazing treat of a free EP. We are excited to be bringing this impressive duo to the world which we can expect to be hearing much more from this year. Listen to the premiere of the entire EP below and pick up an exclusive free download for our readers. Enjoy!

Experimental beatmaker Baauer has developed a signature style in the trap and bass genres by pulling sounds from across the internet and manipulating them via digital production programs. His catalog of original creations (including the viral sensation "Harlem Shake") and some highly impressive remixes (AlunaGeorge's "Attracting Flies") have captivated a global audience, and transformed Baauer into a trendsetter that seeks to push boundaries. Without a full-fledged project to his name, Baauer, with the help of Red Bull and trusted creative mentor Nick Hook, embarked on a mission to collect sounds from abstract regions of the world for his debut release, ß EP.
The creative process was documented from start to finish in the new film "Searching For Sound", with Baauer and Nick selecting the United Arab Emirates and Japan as prime destinations for finding untapped sounds. The documentary gives a brief look at how every culture conceptualizes drastically different approaches to music; from the instruments they all specialize in to the general structure of musical compositions. The indigenous people from both countries were willing to share their musical heritage, while Baauer took in each experience and recorded the sounds. In the film, we see Baauer and Nick capturing everything from foreign instrumentation to camel grunts.
It is clear that the journey changed Baauer's musical creative process, and the evidence of his newfound discoveries helped shape each track on ß EP. The single "One Touch" will have you hitting replay more then once with vocals from AlunaGeorge and emerging rap duo Rae Sremmurd. The second standout track on the release is "Floreana"; a melody-driven spacey journey chuck full of foreign samples. The EP is one of the best examples of how trap and bass music continues to progress into more than just party anthems, while still managing to go hard.

Sweater Beats Releases One Of His Strongest Songs To Date With “Cloud City” : Future Bass / Chill-TrapPosted in Bangin by josh | Tags: Cloud City, Ep, Future Bass, Sweater Beats, Trap
New York's rising future-bass producer Sweater Beats has been holding his own lately. TSIS has premiered his Diplo & Friends mix and Toddla T mix as well as his unreal remixes of Flume & Chet Faker's "Drop The Game" and Snakehips "Days With You" among others. Now, set to release his biggest project to date, the upcoming Cloud City EP on HW&W Recordings (home to the equally notable Kytranada and Stwo), Sweater Beats has given us a taste of what's to come with the album's title track.
"Cloud City" demonstrates the New York producer's unique ability to smoothly combine multiple layers of sound. Flume comes to mind with the use of tight drums and sharp cymbals; but Sweater Beats shows off his own distinct flare with a melody of choppy synths that turn up the energy and bring urgency to the peak of the composition. As always, the time and effort put into Sweater Beats tracks is apparent. "Cloud City" is upbeat, making you feel almost as if you were living in the Cloud City level in a Super Mario Bros game.
Cloud City EP is set to release on October 28th for free (submit your email here to have the EP sent directly to you on release day). For now, enjoy the first taste and stream the track below!
