Australian duo Stafford Brother recently moved to Los Angeles and are the first electronic act to sign to Lil Wayne’s record label, Young Money Cash Money. They teamed up with Lil Wayne and Christinia Milian to create Hello, and also brought out an all star cast of remixers to create series of EP’s for Stafford Brothers.  This entire project featuring a staggering 22 different versions are now available through Beatport. Well we worked with the Stafford Brothers and they have been nice enough let us give out 6 different remixes from the packages compeletely for free to celebrate everything.  We chose the MOTi, Albin Myers, Morten Breum, Will Sparks, Candyland, Dannic and Them Loys Boys remixes that all hit so hard in their own different ways. Check out the remixes, if you love em, please support them. Quick Inside Look at Porter Robinson – Thissongissick Interview [TSIS EXCLUSIVE]

Hey guys, we’ve been going through some changes, and have a sick interview that we did a few months ago with Porter Robinson. This is a quick inside look at Porter Robinson, showing his thoughts on how people react to music, a breakdown of what he has in store with his live sets, outlook on touring, past thoughts on making “the most exciting drop ever”, and his 2 goals in making music. His Spitfire album has been incredibly successful, (listen to the whole thing below), and he’s been touring with countless big names like Skrillex, Tiesto, Zedd, and a ton more. This really is the year for Porter.

Porter states how his original goal was to make “the most exciting drop ever”. then moves onto his admiration for hyper detailed music from artists like Wolfgang Gartner and Noisia, but liked how “hard and danceable they kept they’re music”. He ends with his conclusion for his outlook on making music “Fuck everything else except for those two goals, I want to be complex,  and I want it to be agressive.”  He certainly does both of those so well, and been doing nothing but making HUGE waves since the interview. It was a great pleasure to sit down with Porter, and it’s really amazing to see how big he is getting, and how fast. Hope everyone enjoyed this quick inside look on Porter Robinson.

I’m also excited to bring you the premiere of the first track from the new project W.E.E.D., featuring rapper Shwayze, singer Mark Rosas, and a special guest I can’t tell you who it is yet (see if you can guess). The song was used in the video for the event above, but here’s the full track. The project has a very cool dubstep fueled hip hop party vibe that sounds pretty sick. It starts off a little on the chiller side, then it when it drops and both rappers spit their verses. The crunchy bass filled dubstep drops continue throughout the track, giving a sick unique feel. Electric Daisy Carnival Experience – 12th Planet : Exclusive Movie Clip Premiere + Remix

Today I’m really excited to debut a new exclusive new clip from the movie Electric Daisy Carnival Experience. It’s a movie about the Electric Daisy Carnival electronic music festival, one of the largest music festivals in the world. It used to take place in LA, but since this last year has moved to Las Vegas. This is a clip highlighting the 12th Planet section. It starts with a brief interview section, and then goes to scenes of him raging in front of thousands of people. The video features Nero’s track Innocence, so I figured I’d throw in Feed Me’s remix to track. Can’t wait to check out the full movie!

I love posting new artists, it’s one of the main reasons I started the site, exposing people to new music. Well today I’m introducing you to J Flash, a really sick up and coming house producer based out of Denver. He’s released a few tracks and collaborated with Savoy on a few, and now is releasing his first major single, on Manufactured Music. Well the track is called ‘That’ll Work’ and let’s just say That’ll work as your first single release. It’s a sick upbeat house BANGER with a Swedish House Mafia type sound for the buildups and Chuckie dutch house type drops. He’s defintely got his own defined style.
