Citizen Cope was just waiting to get remixed properly, and who better then Figure to do the job? He remixed the song “Lifeline” to raise awareness for Hurricane Sandy relief. You can download the song through his website where there are links to a variety of organizations to donate for relief towards Hurricane Sandy. The powerful remix really hits home, and fits the message well. As Figure said, he is just trying to send a Lifeline to the east. Listen an download the passionate remix, and if you have some extra money donate towards a great cause. Enjoy!

I couldn’t even begin to name all the dubstep producers that are out there these days, but some happen to shine through a little brighter then others, Figure is one of them. This American producer makes a chaotic yet composed onslought on bass that hits hard. Here’s a short music video edit made by Cinesthetics showing his recent Red Rocks performance at this past year’s Global Dance Festival. The track is “The Brink” and it’s for free download. Enjoy!

Figure, one of the hardest hitting dubstep / drumstep producers in the game decided he would have his shot at remixing Kanye West’s “Mercy” feat. Big Sean, 2 Chainz, and Pusha T. We arlready got one from Stratus, and Triple Six Sound Club, which both hit hard.(See Music Video Here). Well Figure took the track and made possibly the sickest remix yet, with a nice dramatic intro, before he drops HEAVY. Here’s what Figure had to say about the track:
“The moment the original dropped I put it in my set and in my car. I wanted to throw my own touch on Mercy for all the summer gigs I have left in 2012. After EDC and Starscape, so many of you asked for it, so grab it now as a free download. ENJOY!” – FIGURE
It’s going to be hard for anyone to touch this track after him. Also I included a free original dubstep heater from Figure called “The Brink”.. which is so heavy. Taking just the right amount of the perfect sample and smashing it to the brim with his signature filthy bas. Turn these up, enjoy!

Zeds Dead is spreading like a plague. More and more by the day they become a household name, as they should. They take electro and dubstep and all sorts of bass music and smash it together with their own twist for very unique music and live shows that most of you can’t get enough of. I feel like every new Zeds track sound like completely unlike anything I’ve ever heard. Scope their Adrenaline EP if you missed it, as well the seriously must hear TSIS Premiere Divine (Danger Remix) (Zeds Dead Re-Remix). Well this mix goes through tracks fast and seamlessly. It features 16 tracks; a handful from Zeds Dead themselves, and then featuring Figure, 12th Planet, The Killabits, and some other heavy bass music artists. Turn up the bass, enjoy!

Hip hop and dubstep are two genres that work incredibly well together, and today I’ve got a track that surfaced a few weeks ago that blends both the genres very well. It’s a sick track from XV ft. Wiz Khalifa, remixed by Figure, the guy who made the epic Beatlejuice dubstep remix. This song blends the original vocals with his grimey bass for a great remix. Turn it up, enjoy!

Halloween is almost here, so what better then a 19 song trip featuring some eerie tracks and a new light on some classics you know. This mixtape has got a good balance of bass filled electronic music. The first half is house and electro remixes, and the second half is filled with some filthy dubstep, drumstep and glitch remixes. Check out all of the popular halloween tunes you know, like Thriller, the Ghostbusters or the Halloween movie theme, remixed into modern electronic goodness. It features artists like Mimosa, Figure, Dirty Youth, Cazzette, and a ton more. The second half might get a little heavy for some. Defintely grab the whole thing, and let your soundtrack for the next week be a little festive. Turn up the bass, trip or treat, enjoy!
Tracks 1-9 - House / Electro |||| Tracks 10-19 – Dubstep / Drumstep / Glitch
Figure has been making quite a name for himself lately in the Dubstep and Drumstep world. Theres no questioning that his signature style is being harder than just about everyone else. His Remix of F*ck The Police was a super grimy but catchy, and recently his Beetle Juice Remix was also heavy and something people could recognize. Figure shows his skill yet again in this remix staying heavy with his signature basslines, but also somehow keeping the rhythm and nostalgia of the 90′s super hit. Listen to this one on good speakers. The punchy kicks really give this one flavor!

Beetlejuice was alwaysa pretty ineresting, and very weird movie that most everyone reading this is familiar with. Well today I’ve got an filthy dubstep remix to the song from Beetlejuice, and It’s REALLY filthy, and perfect for Halloween coming up. This track might not be for everyone, but the novelty and nostalgia of hearing a classic memorable tune, remixed is always pretty sick. Turn up the bass, fire up the weirdness, enjoy!

Heavy filthy dubstep and Lil Jon are just a great combination. Well Styles&Complete, the duo who brought you the Feed Me vs Skrillex mashup and the Crime Mob and Outkast dubstep remixes are back with another dirty mashup. This time they took Lil Jon and filthy dubstep producer Figure and ended up with a super heavy dubstep / Lil Jon powered party track. This BANGER mashup has got a great blend of rap and bass. Turn it up, enjoy!
N.W.A.’s classic ‘Fuck the Police’ will always be a classic hip hop track, and now Figure has taken the classic and gave a heavy reworking. This is remix is not for the feint of heart, being very filthy, and filled to the brim with bass. I love this remix and how it has some original samples of the song, mixed with the abrupt in your face whomps. Turn the bass up for this one and enjoy!
My story has changed quite a lot since moving to Boulder, Colorado and starting Thissongissick back in 2010. My name is Nick Guarino and this is Thissongissick.com. We have grown a lot since, but the original goal has stayed the same, making it easier for you to discover sick new music you have never heard before. In high school I would make mix cd's for my friends to show them all the new music I was discovering. Now through Thissongissick, we work with musicians and record labels from all over the world to showcase a variety of freshest electronic, hip-hop, indie, and other fresh genres to a worldwide following that now reaches millions of music lovers over 110+ countries, every single month. Make yourself at home, enjoy countless amazing musicians from a variety of genres and let the sick sounds fill your ears. Enjoy!
We work with the artists to spread their music. Most of the artists choose to give away their music for free to spread it to as many ears as possible. Please support the artists by purchasing tickets to see them live in concert and what music they do have for sale!
