Electro-funk soul brother GRiZ recently released his first new original song since his Rebel Era album, after working over a year on his newest full album. The first track "A Fine Way to Die" gave us a sample of what's to come. Today we get the new album's title, Say It Loud with a March release, as a free download through his newly reformed All Good Records.
We also get the second song from the album, "Stop Trippin'", featuring guest vocals from iDA HAWK showing another glimpse of what this album has in store. With no samples, and all original recorded funk and soul instruments and vocals, GRiZ takes his sound into new territory paving the way for iDA HAWK's vocals to shine strong. This might be one of my favorite songs I've ever heard from GRiZ as he blends the live and organic elements with his signature gritty electronic edge like never before… and not to mention those unreal sax fueled drops. This song is stream only until the free release of the Say It Loud album.
To make this release even more massive, GRiZ has also just announced his first run of shows for 2015 with a fitting Say It Loud World Tour that will be hitting all over the US in coming months. Check out "Stop Trippin'" and see dates for the upcoming tour below.

Pretty Lights is one of the most unique and exciting electronic artists around, pushing the boundaries of how the music industry works, known for freely distributing every single album / song he has every released. Well today he continues his out of the box habits by releasing not 1, but 10 songs completely for free, through someone who matters most to him, one of his fans.
While attending this year's annual Jam Cruise, which just commenced it's 13th year (for those unaware it's a long running cruise festival featuring some of the best jam acts around, and is actually the cruise that inspired Hard's Holy Ship and Mad Decent's Boat Party), Pretty Lights was catching up with some of his fans by the zen pool, one in paritcular a fan by the name of Cassie Blochinger. Together they came up with the idea that "(the fans) should be the ones sharing his music. We're the ones that help expand the knowledge of Pretty Lights and show the world just how we do."
Pretty Lights then uploaded 10 tracks, mostly new, some old, directly from his laptop to her harddrive. She has since uploaded the songs for everyone to hear, exactly what Derek (Pretty Lights) wanted.
Some of the tracks sound complete while others are simply breaks, but they all carry out that signature soulful Pretty Lights sound.
You can download all the tracks through the mediafire playlist here. We hope you are thankful for this unexepcted present, we sure are! Enjoy!
GRiZ who is one of the pioneers of the electro-soul and future funk sounds, along with artists like Pretty Lights and Gramatik, yet has managed to carve his own lane in the genre. The always impressive artist announced his own record label 2 years ago with the release of his most recent album Rebel Era which was put out as a free download as well as being on iTunes. Today, the artist is announcing a new chapter in his career with the closing of Liberated Music and the launch of All Good Records. This label, while still carrying out releases being freely available, is also a step in the direction of a full service record label as opposed to just an avenue for Grant (Griz) to distribute his own work. The label has two signed artists, mid west live funk duo The Floozies and Chicago based soul star and TSIS regular Manic Focus.
You can now follow the new All Good Records on Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook, but you should also visit the freshly launched website www.AllGoodRecords.com where you can hear a preview of a new GRiZ song which we can expect to see on his upcoming album Say It Loud that is dropping soon.
Also to celebrate the launch, we have the latest single from the newly reformed labels' first release, The Floozies upcoming album Do Your Thing which will be released Jan 27th. We premiered "FNKTRP" and "Fantastic Love" from the group and now have an exclusive first listen of the song "She Ain't Yo Girlfriend" which captures the signature funky Floozies sound, yet is delivered in an extra sensual manner. The vocorded vocals and the fast paced plucks only help complete the future funk classic. Listen to the premiere of the song and don't miss an exclusive free download. Enjoy!

The complex nature of standout UK beatmakers Koan Sound has influenced many producers since their rise to dominance. Bending the basslines while exploring creative spaces within glitch-hop is precisely what the duo brought for their remix of Australian drum machine pioneer Opiuo's single "Life". The originals funkadelic melodies and R&B / hip-hop styled vocals from Gift Of Gab and Syr are further enhanced by Koan Sounds production, and will have you groovin' to the bass fueled beat throughout.
