G-Eazy just released ‘Far Alone’ ft. Jay Ant which is the first single from his upcoming album These Things Happen. The song with this music video might be some of G-Eazy’s best work to date. It follows both present day and young still swagged out Gerald around for a cool unique video. The production pays tribute to the Bay Area sound with G-Eazy dropping some of his best verses yet managing to talk about weed and partying and not giving any fucks in his own way never taking it too seriously. Here’s his words on the track and upcoming album.
“This album serves as my proper introduction to the world, so the first story I have to tell is where I’m from on ‘Far Alone,’” he says. “I’ve been rapping and making beats since I was young so it was important for me to incorporate the influence of the Bay Area into what my sound has evolved into. This project marks the next chapter to me; a lot of reflection on everything that got me here, for better or for worse.” -G-Eazy
G-Eazy has truly defined his sound more then ever, and I couldn’t be more stoked to hear some more from the project. Enjoy.

G-Eazy drops an impressive new song “Been On” complete a tastefully simple official music video. This is easily one of my favorite tracks I’ve heard from G-Eazy as he gives us an unbelievaly chilled out track with production from Abbey Vo. While G-Eazy has always had his unique swagger, you can hear a new sense of confidence as he delivers every line with a smooth punch. You can now grab the free download or support him through iTunes. Enjoy.

Hoodie Allen + G-Eazy Excellent Adventure Tour Dates + “Plastic Dreams” (feat. Johanna Fay) | Tour Dates + New SongPosted in Chill, Events by nick | Tags: Chill, Concert, G-Eazy, Hip-Hop, Hoodie Allen, Laid Back, Mellow, Rap, Tour
Hoodie Allen is about to hit the road again this time on tour with G-Eazy, two artists Thissongissick has supported since beginning. Both these talented rappers are about to hit the road on the Excellent Adventure Tour, hitting 18 cities with this excellent tour. Both of these rappers are great live, and together will be an unforgettable show every night. Tickets go on sale tomorrow, and with both rappers having a history of selling out shows, I’d suggest grabbing tickets sooner then later.
Also included is the latest track from G-East “Plastic Dreams” featuring Johanna Fay, which will be featured on G-Eazy’s album Must Be Nice, is a great mellow glass of his signature style of catchy hip-hop, this time going out of the typical 50′s themed track, and more of a modern indie flavor that works well. This is been on repeat. Turn it up, and don’t miss him at any of these dates on the tour with Hoodie. Enjoy!

The latest visual from G-Eazy of his track called Marilyn ft. Dominique. This track is more of a ballad, with a fitting love story video to compliment it. Softer then most the stuff we feature, but very well done, with an unfortunate twist at the end for the girl. Enjoy!
G-Eazy is very smart. He doesn’t try and be the next Wiz Khalifa, The next Mac Miller, the next Sam Adams; he’s the next G-Eazy. He’s got a modern James Dean meets hip hop swag going on. For his last record The Endless Summer he used a bunch of catchy classic samples giving it that 50′s vibe. Well for this one he used indie singer Dominique LeJeune to create a similar sound. G found Dominique at a DIY backyard concert and tracked her down and brought her to the studio. His rapping and her sweet voice work very well. Check it out, chill, enjoy!

Today I’ve got a real sick single from G-Eazy, the Cali based rapper who brought you one of the best mixtapes of the year so far, The Endless Summer is back with another track with the same vibe. It’s got a classic sample feel, mixed with his unique flow, always smooth. The story he tells in the song is much deeper than what most rappers manage to tell these days. The point he makes is a good one. Whether we come from money or not we all want it. It’s refreshing to hear about the struggle for money, which we all go through, rather than just rapping about spending it, which is harder for everybody to relate to. G-Eazy has been on his grind all summer releasing single; Well known (Ft. Kam Royal), and an Amazing Video This is one of those tracks that just doesn’t get old. Download and enjoy!
