2015 is turning out to be a winning year for seasoned electro-funk innovator GRiZ. After receiving high praises for his fourth studio album–Say It Loud–Griz commissioned a collection of emerging acts to add variations for the single For The Love ,featuring iconic rapper Talib Kweli, and rolled out a collaboration with Big Gigantic–Good Times Roll–to boot. Throw in a recent spotlight takeover of SnapChat's Discovery Channel and you have quite the list of accolades. With complacency nowhere near to GRiZ's ethos, he continues to push and challenge himself through new musical endeavors.
This brings us to his newest creation, "Feeling High"! This savory concoction of jazz and R&B is downright sensual from beginning to end. The smooth saxophone line that's made GRiZ such a memorable live act is at play throughout, and works perfectly with legendary musician Eric Bloom horn additions. Hip-hop heads will recognize the inspiration for this original from Reflection Eternal's "2000 Seasons" jam, but morphed into GRiZ's framework. Stream the release below and grab yourself a free download, because why the heck not. Enjoy!

Colorado electronic powerhouses GRiZ and Big Gigantic teamed up back in 2013 on the collaborative single "Power" that proceeded to tear up festival crowds for some time and is still heard by both artists.
Well the two have linked up once again on "Good Times Roll" and it's safe to say it's one of the best tracks we've heard all summer. The funk is present in this tune as psychedelic keys are placed alongside a funky bassline, silky guitar riff, soulful singers, high energy percussion, and of course it’s all tied together by dueling saxophones.
Impressive songwriting abilities are shown in this infectious collab with irresistible singing & sax lines, in which there is even a call & response section between the vocals and horns that will be sure to be stuck in your head after listening. This soulful, feel good song is appropriately titled “Good Times Roll” as this summertime anthem brings just the right amount of gritty bass and has come just in time for a seasonal treat while summer is still going strong.
Both artists are gearing up for big Red Rocks shows in September as Griz sold out the legendary venue over a month out for his first show there, and Big G is hitting their 4th Rowdytown double night run that TSIS presents on September 25th and 26th (which is also on track to sell out in advance, so don't miss out on tickets!). Enjoy!

GRiZ – For The Love (Ft. Talib Kweli) Remix EP Ft. Autograf, Big Wild, Naderi & Buku : Must Hear EP [Free Download]Posted in Bangin, Chill by nick | Tags: Autograf, Big Wild, Buku, Ep, Griz, naderi, Remixes, Talib Kweli
GRiZ seems to be having quite an amazing year having released his most successful album to date earlier this year with Say It Loud with a coinciding sold out North American tour and has been making stops at various festivals all summer long. This is not to forget one of the most impressive feats of all, selling out his first headline show at Red Rocks in advanced taking place later this summer.
Well one of the biggest tracks from his album was "For The Love", the collaboration with hip-hop vet Talib Kweli. We've already featured the remixes from Big Wild and Naderi and now get the rest of the package featuring both Autograf and Buku. This is not your typical Autograf remix, they take things in a very exciting direction, bringing in more bass then we've seen them work with in the past, and it works well. Buku takes things in a glitchy, trap inspired, extra raw direction that is actually the version of the song GRiZ has been playing out at some recent live shows. Listen to all of the remixes and soak them in, and you can pick up your copy virtually free download thanks to GRiZ himself and his own All Good Records. You can also listen on Spotify and support on iTunes if you'd like as well. Enjoy!
Don’t miss out GRiZ as he finishes off his festival dates for the year and also embarks on his new Shagadelic tour hitting all over the US. ALL TOUR DATES BELOW

[PREMIERE] GRiZ – For The Love (Naderi Remix) (Ft. Talib Kweli) : Must Hear Future Bass / Electro SoulPosted in Bangin, Chill, Premieres by nick | Tags: Electro Soul, Future Bass, Griz, naderi, Premiere, Remix
Two weeks ago we featured the exciting new Big Wild remix of the GRiZ single “For the Love”, featuring Talib Kweli. This was the first of a series of remixes from the freshly announced “For The Love Remixes EP”, which is set to release this Friday, August 7th.
Well, today we have the premiere of the newest remix from Naderi, an exciting Australian act that’s been making waves. For those who haven’t been following, Naderi is the producer who’s been working behind the scenes on Flume, What So Not, Carmada, and various other acts. Just recently he has been putting out music under his Naderi project. Last month he released an official remix to Fetty Wap’s radio single “Trap Queen” which he managed to inject with a huge blast of something fresh along with releasing his official remix of Daniel Johns "Aerial Love" a few months back.
He steps up and completely reconstructs the song from the ground up. He cleverly starts with Talib’s rap verse, right out the gate giving the song a strong vibe. We hear a distorted background mixture of synth melodies, vocal chops and bass growls which continue to build up to an anthem inducing drop which manages to use the vocal sampling as it’s own instrument. To keep things even more interesting he manages to include a completely separate drop for the second part of the song. This is quite an impressive remix that will have you hitting replay before it has a chance to end. Listen below to the premiere and look out for a free download and official release this Friday, August 7th.
Also, just a few days ago GRiZ announced his newest wave of tour dates for this fall (See all the dates below). He has also shared the very exciting details of selling out his first ever headline show at the iconic Red Rocks Amphitheater, over a month in advanced of theSeptember 4th date. Enjoy!
