Mark and Matt Hill are the talented brothers comprising Lawrence, Kansas based electro funk duo The Floozies who are also apart of GRiZ’s All Good Records label family. They've been previously featured with songs like "She Ain't Yo Girlfriend," "FNKTRP," and their collab alongside Big G's Dominic Lalli "Back On It."
Today they have shared the infectious title track off their forthcoming Granola Jones EP and it's easily one of our favorite tracks to date from the guys.
This single "Granola Jones" truly embodies the Floozies signature sound, a blend of electronic studio productions and live instrumentation for a truly funky blend. It has has sexy guitar riffs and background horns alongside a distorted bassline that grumbles throughout the track adding to the organic, energetic drums. The guys have also managed to debut a new element into this track with Matt Hill of the group offering vocals for the very first time. Stating "I'm really proud of everything in this song, but most of all the singing." The shredding guitar work offers their live funk energy while their electro twist.
This is the type of act you need to see live and they have just announced their latest tour dates, which we have below, so be sure to stop by the date closest to you. The rest of the Granola Jones EP is set to release on Friday Feb 12th. Enjoy!

The 4,000 person festival at sea known as Holy Ship! is an epic experience you have to see to believe. One thing that makes the event so special is the barrier between fans and artists is just about nonexistent. This is best illustrated in a video of GRiZ and ODESZA's horn section playing a rendition of Drake's "Hotline Bling" in the cafeteria of the cruise ship among hundreds of excited attendees.
GRiZ has now shared even more unreal footage from his Holy Ship! weekend with his new official recap video. GRiZ can be spotted kicking it with fans and popping bottles at the pool while I Love Makonnen and SNAILS both make cameos.
We also see shots of his epic sets in both the theater and the deck. It then switches from the high energy side to his laid back Chasing the Golden Hour vibes.
Even more exciting than the visuals, GRiZ also adds two unreleased IDs to the videos soundtrack for your listening pleasure. Check out the sun soaked video for yourself below.
The electronic music festival cruise with over 4,000 people we've written about quite a few times known as Holy Ship! tends to be full of a lot of incredible "had to be there" moments from once in a lifetime B2B sets, surprise guests, DJs playing in elevators and more. Well on the January cruise that just commenced last weekend, third year attendee GRiZ decided to help close out the weekend following his 2 sets by doing something unique. He started a pied piper march of artists (including the ODESZA horn players) and ship attendees from one side of the ship to the other playing "When The Saints Came Marching In"
Then once he arrived in his destination which was the ship's buffet cafeteria he then performed a horn only cover of Drake's "Hot Line Bling" with help from the horn players from ODESZA's live band. It ends with a crowd of people the gathered chanting "HOLY SHIP! HOLY SHIP! HOLY SHIP!"
It captures the craziness, breakdown of barriers between artist and fan, and overall vibe of the unique experience that is Holy Ship!.
This was also a throwback to when he first did this stunt with Skrillex 2 years on the ship playing the Sexy Saxyman melody.

The name Chill Harris might be momentarily unfamiliar to many of you but for those who listened to the interstellar electro creations produced by Kill Paris, this is the new moniker the artist is performing under in wake of the recent Paris attack that took place late last year.
For his first release under the new name, Chill Harris has tapped long-time friend and fellow Colorado resident Griz's hit anthem "Stop Trippin" and reformatted a cluster of fresh vibes into a smooth remix. Layers of melodic chords commingle with the new bass kicks to steer the rework in more of a future bass direction. Chill Harris focuses on the key vocal work provided by Ida Hawk and carries her vibrant tone across the production to perfection.
Stream this exclusive premiere below and look out for more to come from Chill Harris throughout the new year! Enjoy
