Producer/vocalist extraordinaire Chaz Bundick aka Toro Y Moi has mostly resided in the indie dance world in the past. He ventured into the psychedelic rock side of things with his 2015 release What For?. TDE’s next release is scheduled to be Jay Rock’s 90059, which has a moving release date based off preorder goals. Originally the album popped up as an iTunes preorder with a August 2016 date, and later it was revealed the album’s release date will move up when specific preorder goals are reached with the current date being December 4th.
This new track “Easy Bake” brings a different sounding voice than Jay Rock has previously shown, and it seems as if it might be an unfinished version of the unique track, as the iTunes preorder version lists a feature by SZA, who doesn’t appear here. Rock is joined by label mate Kendrick Lamar with one of his always impressive features kicked off with alien-sounding vocal effects, until he snaps and the two start flawlessly trading bars. Other features on the album include label mates Schoolboy Q, Isaiah Rashad, SZA, along with a Busta Rhymes feature, and a long awaited Black Hippy track, which is the collaborative efforts of Kendrick, Schoolboy, Jay Rock, and Ab-Soul. Stay tuned for the album and enjoy a stream of this track.

Macklemore & Ryan Lewis exploded onto the scene years back. Since then they kept relatively quiet until they released their first new song "Growing Up" featuring Ed Sheeran earlier this month. Well, today we get the latest from the group. The duo tap into musical history to make it a reality, bringing out Grandmaster Caz, Kool Moe Dee, Melle Mel and Eric Nally of Foxy Shazam. The song blends old-school funk and old-school hip-hop for a horn powered ballad of a song. Stream below.
Macklemore & Ryan Lewis have dropped a new video to accompany the song as well, enjoy.

The twenty one year old DMV rapper GoldLink has proven himself as one of the breakout rappers of 2015. He was selected for XXL's freshman class of 2015 following irresistible tracks “Sober Thoughts,” “Dance On Me,” “Wassup,” and more.
He’s previously worked with Soulection producers, and continues this trend on his latest track “Movin' On,” which is produced by Soulection's Louie Lastic. This young MC shows off his 'future bounce' style with his impeccable, groovy flow as he rides in pocket of the beat, giving us multiple flow switches leading up to the hook where he impresses with his singing voice, which he hasn’t let shine in the past. The production on this cut brings a gritty, electro-funk R&B nostalgia with cherub-style vocoders, letting Goldlink's groovy style shine in an infectious way that has us eagerly awaiting a full length project from him. Enjoy!
