Now I’m not that big on the majority of mainstream music, but 2 artists who I’ll always enjoy are Jay and Kanye. Their collaboration album Watch the Throne was real sick, and one of the bigger and more cray tracks on the release was Niggas in Paris. Well if Kanye and Jay-Z wasn’t enough on one track, now we get freshly released from jail T.I. He ‘s back out, and delivering some fresh bars to start the song off. The production on this track is amazing as usual, and Kanye and Jay-Z’s parts are obviously pretty sick, wel now T.I. adds his part starting off the track properly. That shit cray. Mac Miller – I Love Life, Thank You : Entire New Hip Hop Mixtape Celebrating 1 Million Followers

Mac Miller just reached his road to 1,000,000 followers and was giving away tracks every 100k till he reached a mllion, and now just dropped this entire mixtape. I just listened to it through and it’s pretty sick. It features a handful of the tracks he’d given out at every 100,000, but it’s real cool to see the new ones and all the ones he gave it out in a mixtape form. Features from Talib Kweli and 9th Wonder among others. It’s cool to see someone still giving out free music, especially an entire mixtape like this right before he’s dropping his debut Blue Slide Park on November 8t, which features Frick Prick Market, Smile Back, and Blue Slide Park. Wale – Focused (Ft. Kid Cudi) : New Sick Hip Hop Collaboration

It’s always sick seeing two rappers you like on the same track, especially ones who have had an open beef earlier this year. Glad to see they’ve teamed up and put everything aside. I was little thrown off hearing some of the rock Cudi stuff, so hearing him spit like this again is real sick. The track’s got a more radio friendly feel to it, with both killing it. These two should defintely do more tracks togeher. Enjoy!

Styles&Complete are two producers that refuse to be held down by a specific genre. They Have made great mash-ups like their Skrillex vs Feed Me and Figure vs Lil Jon, Some sick remixes to I’m On One, Knuck if you Buck, and Bombs Over Baghdad, and even dropped and original Electro Banger G.T.F.D. This mash-up is more testament that these guys are going to continue to come out with quality stuff. Their simple but extremely effective use of effects, one shots, and scratching make this mashup have a real unique feel. Although their are some newer names breaking into the mainstream music scene, Drake is defintely one of the top guys already in the mainstream. Today we’ve got the second single off his upcoming album Take Care (Album artwork above). This track ‘Make Me Proud’ featuring Nicki Minaj is pretty sick. I’m not into the mainstream sounding stuff, as I just think alot of what’s out their isn’t very good, but this track is real sick. The beat is super on point, with a little electronic added to it giving it a a good feel. Drake kills it on this track, when Nicki comes in it kind of throws me off, but that’s how it is almost every time I hear her voice, no offense. Check this out, turn it up, enjoy!

Timeflies – iTribute : Well Done Steve Jobs Hip Hop Tribute Song

Yes, you read that title correct, a hip hop tribute song to the man behind Apple, Steve Jobs. You might have doubts just reading that, but give it a listen and you’ll be impressed. It’s an electronic powered hip hop track from Timeflies. Their the duo who dropped The Scotch Tape which got a lot of love. They used some samples from Apple products, and mixed with some lyrics about Jobs makes for a great tribute track.
