Internationally connected beat-makers TNGHT comprised of Glasgow native Hudson Mohawke and Montreal based Lunice have let loose a video announcing the break up of the supergroup. This news comes very surprisingly considering their joint production was used for Kanye West’s recent single “Blood On The Leaves” along with a very successful original single “Acrylics” released this year. “Waning Moon” comes with a message from the Hudo and Lunice stating “Until Next We Meet”. We are also left with the social links for both Hud Mo and Lunice’s solo pages solidifying the current departure. With the duo’s track record of greatness, we can only assume this is a temporary move for both artists to fully focus on their solo careers.
We have included one of my favorite TNGHT tracks that is still unreleased, and will probably never see a release, so we have dug deep and included the best version of this amazing track. Stream below, let it mourn the loss, and most importantly enjoy!

Hudson Hohawke and Lunice under their TNGHT project let loose their unstoppable blend of progressive bass sounds with a hip-hop influence. “Acrylics” is crying to set festivals off, assaulting the listeners ears in all the right ways. The track will be doing just that as TNGHT plays both weekends of Coachella. They will also be playing a string of other dates including Philadelphia New York City, and San Francisco between April 10th – April 20th. See exact dates below.
The song will be coming out through Warp Records / LuckyMe Records April 10th. Enjoy the track below.

The always impressive Hud Mo aka Hudson Mohawke just let loose a free track in spirit of playing as TNGHT at the Pleasure Principle Weekender in Cornwall, UK coming up April 26th-28th, which looks pretty incredible. It is a ‘Pleasure’ remix from 2011, which until now only featured on a rare vinyl only release. The remix has an incredible upbeat vibe and breathes new light to the Janet Jackson vocals. This is amazing, yet only gets me more antsy for some new. Thanks for the free track Hud Mo, we love you. Tickets and Line-up for the Pleasure Principle Weekender Here. Enjoy!

The combination of Montreal based Lunice and Glasgow based Hudson Mohawke is unreal. The first song the unstoppable duo ever made together was “R U Ready”, and was self released on their soundcloud. It was then taken down almost immediately at request of Kanye West, who in turn used it in his Fashion show, see the video here. Well after the long wait of horrible rips and previews, we finally a high quality version of this trap banger to bump. Those horns.. so massive. Turn this up, enjoy!

The duo TNGHT (Lunice + Hudson Mohawke) are really set out to make 2013 their year. There has been some word about the duo working with Kanye West. To further cement that idea Lunice just dropped through BBC, this simple yet powerful trap edit of the massive hit “Clique” by Kanye West featuring Jay-Z and Big Sean. This track has such a smooth, clean vibe to it, unlike a lot of the over the top agressive trap I have been hearing recently. Will keep you posted once we hear anything about an official releaes. For now you can abuse the replay button, enjoy!
