The crazy indie/electronic chilled out blend that makes up The Gorillaz never seems to bore me. I tend to enjoy most of their music, and it always never sounds the same. I posted a sick remix of Feel Good Inc. awhile back and nothing off of their last Plastic Beach album. Well today I’ve got the latest upcoming single from the group and it’s got a very chilled out indie feel with that electronic flair. This song is very chill and catchy. Mansions on the Moon – Paradise Falls (Presented by DJ Benzi & Diplo): Sick New Chilled Out Electronic/Indie Album

I’ve got a very chill and sick new collection of 12 songs for you all to enjoy. It’s the newest remix album from the indie/electronic group Mansions on the Moon (Comprised of members from electronic jam group The Pnuma Trio); it’s entitled Paradise Falls and it’s presented by DJ Benzi and Diplo, both very notable DJ’s. I through up the Xaphoon Jones remix of ‘Glimpse into the Future’ and you guys loved the chilled out indie/electronic song so I know you’ll dig these others songs. The album features some originals, some sampled songs from artists like Deadmau5, and a remix by Big Gigantic and more. Now this is isn’t your next party mixtape, more of chilled out study album or something you could listen to while your going down the mountain. I’ve posted a few of my favorites from the mixtape, but I’d recommend downloading the whole thing and listen through as most of the tracks have pretty distinct sounds, i’m sure there’s something you’ll love. Lupe Fiasco – The Show Goes On: Sick New Catchy Hip-Hop

Lupe Fiasco finally drops the first song off of Lasers after much delays. This song that samples/remixes Modest Mouse is so sick. It’s upbeat, catchy, and just a feel good track. With me Lupe Fiasco songs are a grab bag sometime, and today got very lucky. I’m sure this is going to be a favorite for a lot of you. Can’t wait to hear the rest of the album due out. So it’s funny, this song was actually posted a little over a month ago, but only in the playlist when the site was temporarily down, and I never officially posted it, and after getting several requests to post it, I figured it was time. It’s a remix of M83′s ‘We Own The Sky’, done by Datsik, who brought you guys the insane BANGER ‘Swagga’ featuring Excision. This dubstep remix is not a total BANGER, but more of chilled out indie electronic flavored song with some extra dubstep bass. Regardless of what is is, I can tell you it is sick. So something that some may find funny, not everyone likes rap, but you throw a happy danceable electronic beat in background and then it’s fun for everyone! Well here’s the latest Sorry for Partying (featuring Thissongissick DJ’s) song following up ‘Cooler Than Rock’ and ‘Who Loves a Hustla’ which have gotten over 50,000+ plays a great reponse. In the newest one they mash and remix Dem Franchize Boyz and Sunloverz for a sick rap filled song with a fun electronic beat. Starts off surprisingly happy, then the bass drops and the party starts. It’s a great mix of rap vocals you sing to with a beat you wanna dance to.  Turn up the bass up and enjoy this sick new party song! So today I’ve got a sick remix from the producer of Chiddy Bang remixing a song from Mansions On The Moon. Mansions On The Moon are really starting to make a name for the newfound trio. This song Glimpse of the Future, remixed by Xaphoon Jones is very sick, it’s got almost indie chilled sound with a electronic remix flare with a twist of that distinct Xaphoon Jones sound. Reminds me of Chiddy Bang’s remix of Cee-Lo’s ‘F*ck You’. Give this song a chance and enjoy!

La Roux has quickly made a name for themselves over the past couple years, some might remember the BANGER remix of ‘Bulletproof’ done by Hyper Crush. Well today I’ve got a remix of their popular track ‘In For The Kill’ this time featuring a verse from Kanye West. And interesting combination that I heard wind of a couple days ago, and was excited to finally hear it. It’s pretty sick in my opinion, but I also like most of Kanye’s stuff so I might be a little biased. What’s intersting is this was a collaborative effort, not some mashup. Must Hear Indie/Rap Song: Brenton Duvall – That’s All (Ft. Gucci Mane)

So, when I say remix you guys probably think electro BANGER, or maybe something dubstep, but today I’ve got a more mellow remix. Not sure if mellow is the best word, because it still makes you want to dance alot. It’s the latest from my homie and neighbor Brenton Duvall. He’s got a real unique indie mashup style that is one you won’t forget. Some of you may remember his epic Lil Wayne / Passion Pit remix ‘Ambien (Sleepyhead Remix)’ which was the #1 download on the site for quite some time. Well this song is seriously just too sick, it makes Gucci Mane actually someone I can really appreciate. The vocals with the indie filled dance beat work perfectly and make you put the track on repeat. Give this song a good listen and enjoy!
