Coachella weekend has been filled with surprises thus far and legendary rapper Nas not only delivered an energized set, but possibly the biggest guest appearance of the weekend. Nas celebrated the occasion with a special tribute to one of the most iconic albums in hip-hop, playing his Illmatic album in full for it's 20th year anniversary.
If that wasn't enough on it's own, he participated in Coachella's spirit by bringing out a very very special surprise guest, fellow New York hip-hop icon Jay-Z (who he once had a huge feud with), to perform "Dead Presidents" and "Where I'm From". Nas snuck in a few other hits including "One Mic" and "Made You Look". To help end the set, he brought Diddy out for "Hate Me Now". All together it was easily one of the most entertaining hip-hop sets we have ever seen. Stream the entire performance below and enjoy!

There's no denying the international star power between electronic music pioneers Daft Punk and hip-hops great Jay-Z, but unbeknownst to many of us untill today the iconic artists came together to collaborate on a track during a supposed studio session with Kanye West producing for the Tron Soundtrack. "Computerized" is every bit as awesome as you'd expect, with Daft Punk turning back time to lay down a classic electro funk beat similar to pre-Random Access Memories days with splashes of catchy synth patterns and keyboard samples galore while Jay-Z lays down verse after verse with flawless ease.
This potential blockbuster has every media source searching for the factual nature of this track since it surfaced over the weekend, but unlike most bootlegs previously touted as Daft Punk originals, this sounds extremely legitimate and also raises the question of why this was track was scraped from a release. Stream the track below and stay on the look for more info as soon it becomes available. Enjoy

Today we get our ears on one of the most exciting collaborations to be released at the end of 2013 as Rick Ross and Jay-Z team up for “The Devil Is A Lie”. The song packs some of the best verses I’ve heard from both Rozay and Jay to date with hip-hop beat maker KE on the Track providing the beat. Creative, catchy, and down right awesome are just a few words that come to mind. Hopefully we see these two rap icons work together on material in the future. Enjoy.

Brillz and Z-Trip just teamed up to remix one of the most iconic hip-hop tracks ever “Dirt Off Your Shoulder” from Jay-Z. The take the hip-hop classic and unthinkably smash it into a trap anthem that works unbelievaly well. From Z-Trip offering some traditonal scratching to the raw bass from Brillz, the chemistry between the two is unreal. This is apart of the Trap Nation tape from Imanos over at Jay-Z’s Life + Times and you can grab it on the continous mix below, and the download for the remix will be available Monday. Enjoy!

Jay-Z let’s loose a spur of them moment extra raw track “Open Letter” produced by Timbaland and Swizz Beatz. He touches on some current issues that have been brought up in the media recently about the himself including his recent signing with Universal as well as potentially “illegally vacationing in Cuba” and goes onto to joke about “buying a kilo from Chief Keef”. It is a refreshing quick track letting us know that Jay is more than relevant. Enjoy!
