Established hip-hop artists New York based Theophilus London and Chicago based Jesse Boykins III team up for a fresh new side project PARIS 96. The first single they unveil “Afternoon” is an electronic fueled ballad incorporating both hip-hop and soul. Production thanks to Xaphoon Jones (of Chiddy Bang) who gives it just the right electronic kick blended with some organic organs. Theophilus brings the hip-hop flavor while Jesse contrasts with some soulful singing. This dropped earlier in the month, but was too good not to feature. This is off an upcoming EP set to release in April. Enjoy a free download courtesy of the artists. We will post as updates come in on the project.

My story has changed quite a lot since moving to Boulder, Colorado and starting Thissongissick back in 2010. My name is Nick Guarino and this is Thissongissick.com.
