Major Lazer – Watch Out For This (Bumaye) (Produced by Diplo) (Lyric Video) : Must Hear New Single
Posted in Bangin by nick | Tags: BANGER, Dancehall, Diplo, Electronic, Heavy, Jungle, Major Lazer, Trap Music, ZillionaireMajor Lazer just let loose another new cut from Free the Universe, their upcoming album. This song “Watch Out For This (Bumaye)” which packs their signature dancehall flavor fit to set speakers off. The song starts off with a smooth reggae / jungle vibe adding some blasting horn section whose melody will get stuck in your head. It then progresses to to one of the heaviest, rawest drops I have ever heard come out of Major Lazer. Jillionaire guides the track well over the incredible production from Diplo. Also enjoy the interesting lyric video accompanying the track. You can pre-order the album below. Enjoy!

Diplo – Butter’s Theme feat. Gent & Jawns (Music Video)
Posted in Bangin, Video by nick | Tags: BANGER, Diplo, Gent & Jawns, Jungle, Moombahton, Music Video, POTATO, TrapDiplo just unleashed his latest ridiculous visuals to “Butter’s theme” feat. Gent & Jawns off his recent Express Yourself EP. The outrageous video matches the grimey Moombahton jungle banger perfectly in a weird way. Reuben Dangoor directed this optical illusion of girls dancing and signs. This was premiered through POTATO, the new channel from Diplo, Skrillex and A-Trak. Enjoy.

Zeds Dead – Hot Sauce EP [Mad Decent] [Review] [TSIS PREMIERE]
Posted in Bangin, Mixtapes / Albums by nick | Tags: BANGER, Bass Music, Breaks, Electro House, Glitch, glitch-hop, House, Jungle, Mad Decent, Tribal, Zeds DeadZeds Dead continue their strong and steady journey as musical artists and set 2013 off properly with the release of their “Hot Sauce EP”. It is easily their most daring to project to date and Diplo’s incredibly versatile Mad Decent record label couldn’t be a more fitting home to release this genre-venturing project from the Canadian duo.
Starting off the ride is “Demons”, acting as the perfect transition from the past Zeds Dead sound they are known for to the new foreign styles contained on the EP. It is an incredibly slow paced brutal banger filled with piercing spine rattling drops and retro horror samples. Next up “Mr. Sub” takes us down a refreshing techy jungle ride that is a complete 180’ in overall mood. This song, which is named after the group’s home country’s sandwich chain, provides a great stepping-stone towards the rest of the EP. “Playa” is floor shaking, siren packed, rage filled inducing rave anthem that sounds unlike anything I have ever heard. Next up is the cleverly named “Rave”, featuring a revamped breakbeats track giving a tribute to the music that filled the UK rave scene. It let’s you get lost in the engulfing breaks while still carrying out the Zeds Dead flavor you crave. The closing track “Trouble” has the duo go back to the gritty slow paced glitch-hop sound they perfected on their past EP featuring Omar LinX, Victor. The song revolves around a simple infectious piano line and drumbeat that is a slow yet powerful way to end the bold release.
All in all, the EP takes some huge risks, defying most of what is getting released right now. These are the bold signs of true artists who are leading the way, and not following the trends. You can listen to the EP below, and purchase it through through Beatport and iTunes. Enjoy.

Well for the latest video to the track “Set It Off” which featured Vermont duo Lazerdisk Party Sex. The track was off his Express Yourself EP which got released a earlier this summer. This video is filled with a collage of stripper on an endless stripper pole.. which ends up going into space and obviously some fireworks thrown in the mix. I’d say the video matches the song, turn it up, enjoy!

Major Lazer – Original Don (KID KAIO Remix) + Crookers : Crunchy Electro Remixes + Video
Posted in Bangin, Video by nick | Tags: BANGER, Crookers, Diplo, Electro House, Electronic, Filthy, Flosstradamus, Jungle, KID KAIO, Major Lazer, RemixToday I’d like to bring you an overdue song, by the crazy duo Major Lazer. For those unaware, Major Lazer is the musical project featuring DJ’s Diplo and Switch. They’re recent single ‘Original Don’ came complete with a very wild outrageously weird Music Video (below), and the remixes for this jungle anthem just keep coming. My favorite so far is this latest one by KID KAIO, as he pumps it full of electro energy. I love the chaotic vibe from of the track. I’ve also included the Crookers and Flosstradamus remix for listening pleasure, they are purchase only. I dig how different the Flosstradamus one sounds. Enjoy the remixes, and video, turn it up, enjoy!

Alright so ‘Pon De Floor’ is one of those songs that you hear a lot, at a lot of different places, and for a good reason. The song just has a catchy “I wanna dance in the jungle” feel. Haha, not sure how else to put it, just turn it up and give it a listen. Well most of you probably have heard this, but if not enjoy!
