Holy Ship 2013 Recap Video : Electronic Festival Cruise Ship + 2014 Details

Holy Ship!!! took place for it’s second encounter providing the ultimate 3 day electronic cruise experience. The unique event acts as a vacation for some of the top Dj’s in the world, and one of the most unique experience between fan and artists. From catching the nutty lineup featuring artists like Boys Noize and Justice and Skrillex throwing down Back 2 Back sets left and right to Skream and Benga and Baauer throwing out of the element straight hip-hop sets, being able to do activities like Putt Putt Mini-Gold with Dillon Francis, it is becoming one of the most legendary events in the electronic community. This video gives us a brief glimpse at all the sweaty sets that went down all throughout the ship, and then the incredible Beach Party on the private island in the Bahamas. Holy Ship!! 2013 Lineup: Over 40 DJ’s on a 4 Day Cruise in Bahamas

During the start of this year’s summer festivals we get the gift of an insane lineup for next year’s Holy Ship!! The 4 day festival that takes place on a ship and private islands in the Bahamas. Today I have two amazing new things from LazerDisk Party Sex, that funky electro / moombahton duo from Burlington that wears Storm Trooper helmets. First up the remix the Justice track “Helix”, and give the catchy track into an electro BANGER. Also they dropped off a brand new 30 minute ‘The Skinny Dip’ mix in spirit of our upcoming summer kick off concert that LazerDisk is playing this Friday in Denver called The Skinny Dip. Today I’ve got the latest song and accompanying music video from Logic, the Maryland based up and coming rapper who I can’t get enough of. He dropped the Young Sinatra mixtape, and the recent Young Sinatra III song w/ video. For this one, he makes a more dance friendly track, going in over Justice – D.A.N.C.E., and killing it. He throws down some great lines, on top of a catchy chorus. Cannot wait for his new mixtape. For now it’s stream only, he said he’d let us drop the download once it hits 100,000 plays on youtube, and the last one only took 4 days. Turn this up, enjoy!

Avicii & Nicky Romero – ID / F*ck School (Ft. Justice) : New Epic House Anthem with D.A.N.C.E. Vocals

Avicii, hands down one of the hottest new names in electronic music to emerge recently, and today I’ve got what looks like his next anthem to follow up Levels. It’s a collaboration track with Nicky Romero (an incredibly talented producer from Holland). This track was rumored to be titled ‘Fuck School’, but, Avicii just confirmed this morning that it doesn’t have a title, so ID will be used until then. This track has some very catchy synths, buildups, drops, and just about everyhting. This a a clip taken from one of his recent live sets. I typically wait for the full, and hate clips like this, but after Avicii talking about it today, and how incredibly good it is, I had to share it. Turn it up, enjoy!

Today I’ve got a primarily rock track, and that’s not a genre I have featured much of on the site, but thought I’d give it a chance since Justice used to be one of my favorite electronic producers. The track is a new B-Side from the new Justice release on the Audio, Video, Disco single set for reease September 26th, and going to be on the same titled EP getting released October 25th.. This track Helix starts with an almost Talking Heads vibe, then more and more of the track followed with the electronic flair. It really does remind of an an 80′s track; one of those tracks you can’t help but move and smile to haha. Electronic infused rock. Turn it up, enjoy! Today I’ve got the first single from hard hittting electro duo Justice. This track is off their new upcoming album Audio, Video, Disco due out October 25th on Ed Banger Records. This first single to be heard, also titled ‘Audio, Video, Disco’ is a real different sounding track with a definite more overall live band feel. The track really doesn’t sound like anything I would expect from Justice, but  still sick. Instead of the hard hitting electro sound, it’s got more oa ful live band sound, although it is still fit for  dancing. Turn it up, check it out, enjoy!

Today I’ve got a fresh new BANGER that’s sure rattle your bass. It’s a catchy remix from my homie Ben Samples aka Samples who’s making quite the name for himself as well as collaboratively with Fisk as Fresh2Death. The latest track is a mashup of the always classic Beastie Boys and the french electro group Justice. It’s mashed by “DJ ALIVE” who I could not find any information about, anywhere.
