Kid Cudi Releases New Single “Confused” From Upcoming Album

Posted in Bangin by nick | Tags: ,

To kick off the weekend, Kid Cudi has dropped a new track “Confused” off his forthcoming album Speeding Bullet to Heaven. He brings his WZRD rock style on a more introspective, moody vibe in which he said his album’s production will be entirely guitar and bass played by Cudder himself. This grunge-rock inspired track brings us a better glimpse of what he has in store for the upcoming album, and it sounds like we might be seeing more singing than rapping on this project.

Kid Cudi Releases New Song “Love” Featuring Ratatat

Posted in Chill by Jake | Tags: ,

Kid Cudi doesn't exactly follow the typical method of doing things and tends to release music randomly at unexepcted times, and one of those times is right now. He just shared a brand new song titled "Love" which was recorded last year yet never released. The song that is produced by Cudi go-to Dot Da Genius which actually samples Ratatat and their song "Sunblocks", paves way for Cudi to deliver some silky smooth verses. What's crazy is that Ratatat and Cudi have been friends since previous work on Pursuit Of Happiness and have even personally approved this track. Listen below and start getting excited for his forthcoming album, Man on the Moon III. Enjoy!

Kid Cudi – Girls (Ft. Too $hort)

Posted in Chill by nick | Tags: , , , ,

Kid Cudi is getting closer to the release of his latest album Indicud, artwork above. For his latest single “Girls” he recruited none other then Too $hort to complete the record. It is a chilled out song filled with his smooth signature flow bouncing of the production perfectly. Too $hort’s verse is short and adds some contrast to the song. As great as this track is, it is just another teast for the rest of the album. Don’t miss the already released “Immortal”. Enjoy!

Big Boi – She Hates Me (ft. Kid Cudi) : Incredible Hip-Hop Collaboration off of Big Boi’s New Album

Posted in Chill by nick | Tags: , , , , , ,

Whoa.. I just got to listen to most of the new Big Boi album Vicious Lies and Dangerous Rumors.. and damn it might swoop in taking the title away from Kendrick Lamar’s‘good kid, m.A.A.d city’ a run for best mainstream hip-hop release of 2012. Big Boi has completeley adapted to the times and created a very diverse album with influences that you would expect and a ton of fresh new indie influence that works unbelievably well. We first got to sample “Line (Ft. A$AP Rocky & Phantogram)”. One of the fan favorites is going to be “She Hates Me”, a chilled out collaboration track calling for Kid Cudi to help out. The chemistry between the two aritsts over the simple yet effective beat makes for instantly one of my favorite tracks I have heard all year. This is a song underground fans will love, but could all crossover to mainstream reminding me of Cudi’s “Pursuit of Happiness”. Until Big Boi’s Vicious Lies and Dangerous Rumors comes out December 11th, you can play this track on repeat. Enjoy! (Let me know if anyone is having problem with the new player.. comment below!)

Easily one of the most enjoyable festivals of this past year was Buku Music & Art Project which took place in New Orleans last march. The festival had an intimate vibe being under 10,0000 people, and took place  right on the water at Mardi Gras World, the famed warehouse / shipyard that all of the insane Mardi Gras floats get built at year round. The uniquely set festival also boasted a jaw dropping lineup which featured Skrillex, Wiz Khalifa, Avicii, Diplo, Big Gigantic, Porter Robinson, Big K.R.I.T., and Wolgang Gartner among others. With so many of the aritsts from last years lineup exploding in size, I coudln’t help but wonder how they could possibly match the lineup.. Well look below and you will see they more then matched it, it might be even better! Kid Cudi – Just What I Am (Ft. King Chip) (Music Video) : Extra Trippy Hip-Hop Video

Posted in Chill, Video by nick | Tags: , , ,

Kid Cudi drops us off some extra fresh visuals to supplement one of the best hip-hop songs of the year “Just What I Am” featuring King Chip (aka Chip tha Ripper). With the amount of times this song has been replayed is obscene, I was begging for a video. The song is very laid back and has a trippy tone, with the video matching it. It has a collection of shots of Cudi and Chip driving around and closeups all with some spacey tripped out effect, suiting the song perfectly. Enjoy!

Kid Cudi – Just What Iam (Ft. King Chip) : Fresh Hip-Hop

Posted in Chill by nick | Tags: , , , , ,

Kid Cudi has always been a favorite with his incredibly laid back flow. Cudder has been slaving away making his new album indicud, which he claims to be his version of The Chronic 2001. Following up that bold claim he drops the first track from the project “Just What Iam (ft. King Chip). It’s got a very simple mellow vibe, with some electronic elements going in and out, and some bassy synths that com in. Chill out, enjoy!
