Kid Cudi – Girls (Ft. Too $hort)

Posted in Chill by nick | Tags: , , , ,

Kid Cudi is getting closer to the release of his latest album Indicud, artwork above. For his latest single “Girls” he recruited none other then Too $hort to complete the record. It is a chilled out song filled with his smooth signature flow bouncing of the production perfectly. Too $hort’s verse is short and adds some contrast to the song. As great as this track is, it is just another teast for the rest of the album. Don’t miss the already released “Immortal”. Enjoy!

Kid Cudi drops off “Immortal”, the newest cut from his upcoming album Indicud set for release April 23rd. This song produced by Kid Cudi himself takes it back to his older Man on the Moon roots. I can’t stop playing this track, and this only makes me even more anxious for the newest Cudder album. Enjoy.

Big Boi – She Hates Me (ft. Kid Cudi) : Incredible Hip-Hop Collaboration off of Big Boi’s New Album

Posted in Chill by nick | Tags: , , , , , ,

Whoa.. I just got to listen to most of the new Big Boi album Vicious Lies and Dangerous Rumors.. and damn it might swoop in taking the title away from Kendrick Lamar’s‘good kid, m.A.A.d city’ a run for best mainstream hip-hop release of 2012. Big Boi has completeley adapted to the times and created a very diverse album with influences that you would expect and a ton of fresh new indie influence that works unbelievably well. We first got to sample “Line (Ft. A$AP Rocky & Phantogram)”. One of the fan favorites is going to be “She Hates Me”, a chilled out collaboration track calling for Kid Cudi to help out. The chemistry between the two aritsts over the simple yet effective beat makes for instantly one of my favorite tracks I have heard all year. This is a song underground fans will love, but could all crossover to mainstream reminding me of Cudi’s “Pursuit of Happiness”. Until Big Boi’s Vicious Lies and Dangerous Rumors comes out December 11th, you can play this track on repeat. Enjoy! (Let me know if anyone is having problem with the new player.. comment below!)

Easily one of the most enjoyable festivals of this past year was Buku Music & Art Project which took place in New Orleans last march. The festival had an intimate vibe being under 10,0000 people, and took place  right on the water at Mardi Gras World, the famed warehouse / shipyard that all of the insane Mardi Gras floats get built at year round. The uniquely set festival also boasted a jaw dropping lineup which featured Skrillex, Wiz Khalifa, Avicii, Diplo, Big Gigantic, Porter Robinson, Big K.R.I.T., and Wolgang Gartner among others. Posted in Chill by nick | Tags: , , , , , ,

One of the best Kid Cudi tracks to drop recently just got the official full free download release from Cudi himself. This track “King Wizard” is easily one of my favorite Kid Cudi tracks to date, and is actually produced by himself as well. The tracks captures his smooth chilled of vibes, while deliving some quick wordplay. This is off his highly awaited upcoming new album, Indicud, which he just revealed he will be producing over 80% of. Enjoy!

Kid Cudi – Just What I Am (Ft. King Chip) (Music Video) : Extra Trippy Hip-Hop Video

Posted in Chill, Video by nick | Tags: , , ,

Kid Cudi drops us off some extra fresh visuals to supplement one of the best hip-hop songs of the year “Just What I Am” featuring King Chip (aka Chip tha Ripper). With the amount of times this song has been replayed is obscene, I was begging for a video. The song is very laid back and has a trippy tone, with the video matching it. It has a collection of shots of Cudi and Chip driving around and closeups all with some spacey tripped out effect, suiting the song perfectly. Enjoy!

Kid Cudi – Just What Iam (Ft. King Chip) : Fresh Hip-Hop

Posted in Chill by nick | Tags: , , , , ,

Kid Cudi has always been a favorite with his incredibly laid back flow. Cudder has been slaving away making his new album indicud, which he claims to be his version of The Chronic 2001. Following up that bold claim he drops the first track from the project “Just What Iam (ft. King Chip). It’s got a very simple mellow vibe, with some electronic elements going in and out, and some bassy synths that com in. Chill out, enjoy!

Today we get and amazing video for the HUGE collaboration between Steve Aoki, Kid Cudi, and Travis Barker, off Aoki’s Wonderland album. It’s got a very wild high energy feel feel suiting the track perfectly. Below is the track on soundcloud for those with Youtube problems.Check this out, enjoy!

Steve Aoki ft. Kid Cudi & Travis Barker – Cudi The Kid : Sick New Electronic Collaboration

Posted in Bangin by nick | Tags: , , , , , , ,

You may have heard that Steve Aoki is finally releasing his debut album after years of being a DJ and producer. It’s called Wonderland and coming out January 17th, and today we get a sample off it with a new collab with Kid Cudi drummer Travis Barker. On top of the all star cast,  this track really sounds unique and nothing like I’ve ever heard, which is my favorite thing to listen to. It’s a mixture of more chiller softer track, then with some heavier drops, but not anywhere close to as energetic as the typical Aoki BANGER. Cudi does more singing then true rapping on the track, but it works well, especially if your a fan of his. Travis Barker’s drums add a subtle cool organic feel to the track. Turn it up, enjoy!

Kid Cudi – Rap Hard (Mixtape) : Unreleased Kid Cudi Mixtape

Posted in Chill, Mixtapes / Albums by nick | Tags: , , , , , , ,

Today I’ve got a cool treat, it’s an oldschool Kid Cudi mixtape that was recorded over 10 years ago. It was recorded between 2001 -2002. It’s cool to hear some old Cudi, really old Cudi, and it’s actually still sick. 12 songs, with 3 of them being skits. It’s obviously got a more raw sound, as it’s so old. What do you think of oldd Cudi? Check out the tape, chill, enjoy!

Wale – Focused (Ft. Kid Cudi) : New Sick Hip Hop Collaboration

Posted in Chill by nick | Tags: , , , , ,

It’s always sick seeing two rappers you like on the same track, especially ones who have had an open beef earlier this year. Glad to see they’ve teamed up and put everything aside. I was little thrown off hearing some of the rock Cudi stuff, so hearing him spit like this again is real sick. The track’s got a more radio friendly feel to it, with both killing it. These two should defintely do more tracks togeher. Enjoy!

Dj Khaled ft. Drake & Lil Wayne – I’m On One (KillaGraham Remix) : BANGER DUBSTEP REMIX

Posted in Bangin by nick | Tags: , , , , , , , ,

Today I’ve got another dubstep remix falling in the chillstep category, where’s it’s still got the MASSIVE dubstep bass, but with a smooth vibe to it. KillaGraham has taken the single ‘I’m On One’ from Dj Khaled ft. Drake & Lil Wayne and loaded it full of bass. It’s got a similar sound to his Kid Cudi – Cudi Zone remix. It’s got the same perfect blend of orignal song, synths, and massive bass. Turn it up, enjoy!

Kid Cudi – Falling Star ft. Florence and the Machine (R3K Remix) : Real Sick Chill Electronic Remix/Mashup

Posted in Bangin, Chill by nick | Tags: , , , , , , , ,

Today I’ve got a great chilled out remix featuring parts some samples from a lesser known Kid Cudi track and Florence the Machine. The talented R3K (Riley Keating), took Florence and the Machine’s ‘Cosmic Love’, blended it with Dan Black ft. Kid Cudi’s ‘Symphonies’. I’ve included the original Cudi track posted earlier, for those who haven’t heard it. The original is great chill Cudi track, and this remix gives it a new electronic feel mixed with the soft vocals from Florence. Check this out and enjoy!
