Duck Sauce – NRG : Feel Good Disco-House Original

Posted in Bangin, Chill by Bryan | Tags: , , , , , , , , , ,

The dynamic disco duo known as Duck Sauce (A-Trak & Armand Van Helden) have unloaded the final single off their highly anticipated debut album Quack being released via Fool's Gold Records on Tuesday, April 15th. It feels like only yesterday the prominent producers turned the world upside down by combining forces to release radio charting hits such as "Barbra Streisand" and "It's You". A similar recipe is recreated on "NRG" as the perfect amount of summertime vibes and disco-house aesthetics will surely see this heater takeover the next few months. It's also worth noting the joint forces of Skrillex, Kill the Noise and Milo & Otis provided a festival ready electro / bass remix of "NRG" that was featured in a number of artists WMC and Ultra sets. Stream the new single below and pre-order Quack today! Enjoy

Stream Skrillex Debut Artist Album “Recess” Out Now On OWSLA Records

Posted in Bangin, News by Bryan | Tags: , , , , , , , ,

The day is finally upon us! Having endured all the rumors, the speculation, the shitty 360p YouTube upload's and more, the current face of the electronic music community known globally as Skrillex garnished the full attention of the world by streaming his entire debut artists album Recess being released through his very own record label OWSLA on March 18th. The Grammy winning success of Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites has paved the way for Skrillex to take the next step in the creative process with Recess coming after months in the studio crunching out music and working with some top notch producers.

The first single "All Is Fair In Love and Brostep" featuring the Ragga Twins is the finished version of his unreleased "This Much Power (DJ Tool Untitled)" track streamed in his BBC1 Essential Mix. "Recess" is the most recent track to surface and features legendary hip-hop radio personality Fatman Scoop and Kill The Noise. Expanding to incorporate a fresh face in hip-hop, "Coast Is Clear" features Chicago lyricist Chance The Rapper acid rapping over an experimental future bass / soul beat co-produced by Chance's band Social Experiment.

The explosive nature of "Dirty Vibe" and "Ragga Bomb" are reminiscent of Skrillex's substep roots, both packing punchy basslines and with the latter showcasing a second collaboration with the Ragga Twins. The deep house and UK garage/bass mentality of "F–k That" is a refreshing change up of styles. The dubstep ballad "Ease My Mind" brings extra smooth spin thanks to Malin Dahlström vocal addition. Due to the high level of creativity and level of production on all 11 tracks, we wouldn't be surprised if Skrillex lands himself a few Grammy Nominations for Recess in 2015. Purchase Recess on digital download now before the March 18th release date and catch Skrillex live on his headlining North American Mothership Tour this summer! Enjoy

Skrillex and Fee dME Live Beatport

Just a few days after releasing his well received debut album Calamari Tuesday, UK producer Feed Me sat down with us via Twitter to have a back in forth conversation about the industry, upcoming collaborations, his short film and much more.

He discussed in progress collaborations with Skrillex, Kill the Noise, Noisia, Zeros and Yadi. Leaving in with a wave of anxiety as we read the following tweet:

We then asked about his Feed Me monster and got filled in that his robotic re-creation is still happening and might be involved in a short film that’s in the ‘early stages at the moment’.

Feed Me recently looked into the state of electronic music via the Beatport Top 100 charts, we asked him his thoughts on what he found.

The M Machine – Ghosts in the Machine ft. Pennybirdrabbit (Kill the Noise Remix) : Massive Heavy Dubstep / Electro House Remix

Posted in Bangin by nick | Tags: , , , , , , ,

Electronic trio The M Machine just got an insanely massive official remix to their song “Ghosts in the Machine” featuring vocalist Pennybirdrabbit from bass fiend Kill the Noise. He re-imagines the already amazing song turning it into an incredible bass fueled monster. This massive facelift manages to deliver all smooth emotion parts of the original in a brutal new fashion. This might be one of my favorite Kill the Noise tracks to date. This will be getting released on The M Machine remix EP set to release later this month. Listen through the stream below. Enjoy!

Kill the Noise’s thoughts on remixing the track:

When they asked me to do the remix I looked at it as a great opportunity to work with musicians that I love. That’s how remixes should go, in my opinion.”

Kill the Noise – BLVCK MVGIC (Kill the Noise Pt. 2) (Music Video) : Extra Violent Clay Animation Video

Posted in Bangin, Video by nick | Tags: , , , , ,

Kill the Noise drops a cinematic music video to BLVCK MVGIC (Kill the Noise PT.), which is a sequal to the insane “Kill the Noise Pt. 1″ music video. Instead of following the same trippy futurisitc real person approach, the video is complete clay animated. It does however carry over the obscenely gorey theme, all done very well, and really matching Kill the Noies’s music quite well. This is just another why Kill the Noise is indeed a very serious artist to watch in 2013. Enjoy.
