One of TSIS's favorites Logic has been riding the success of his massively successful debut studio album Under Pressure complete with a near sold out world tour he is currently in the middle of. Well today he drops off his first new song since the album's release with "Top Ten" featuring Big K.R.I.T. The song features some laid back production from 6ix which sets the tone for Logic to spit some non stop lines reflecting on the past year. Listen to the song below and no details on a free release. Enjoy!
Logic – Top Ten (Ft. Big K.R.I.T.)
TSIS favorite, Logic is set to embark on the near 50 date Monster Energy Outbreak Tour supporting his debut full-length studio album Under Pressure released in October of last year. To see rapper Logic go from being online hype, sponsored by Thissongissick for every mixtape, to having one of the most succesful hip-hop albums of the year is nothing short of incredible.
Today marks another check off the bucket list, as Logic continues his late night streak following up his visit to Jimmy Fallon with an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live. The artist will be a guest on the show Tuesday evening, but to make things even more unique and special, Logic will also perform at Jimmy's outdoor stage that will be broadcasted on TV. Artists bring in their own LA fanbase when playing at this stage, so to have someone like Logic play there is pretty insane, and we have full confidence there will be a line around the corner of those who won't make it in. Congratulations Logic, we could'nt be more excited to be apart of the ride!!
Check back for a recap of Logic's performance and if you live in LA and want to attend the event you can grab free tickets here.
2014 feels like the year of unexpected collaborations and that continues with hints of a potentially huge match up. Rapper and TSIS favorite Logic just posted a photo with young superstar producer Zedd in the studio with the caption “Worked on something crazy last night in the studio with Zedd.”
Logic is hot off the release of his debut album Under Pressure which smashed expectations as far as numbers go and translates the rappers unbelievable buzz into one of the most powerful forces in hip-hop to watch. Aside from enlisting Louis Futon for a remix of his song “Break It Down”, the rapper has never once ventured into the electronic space, staying pretty traditional and true to his signature style. Zedd, on the flip side, has never worked with a rapper before, not even with a remix.
We feel the lack of experience in each other's genres will lead to some amazing chemistry as both artists dive into something new at the same time, leaving us with something potentially groundbreaking.
Will they go more in the traditional progressive house styled side of Zedd or venture into something new like Vic Mensa's genre blending single “Down On My Luck”. What do you think?
From the looks of the picture, they look excited, which has us all very excited for what’s to come.

My story has changed quite a lot since moving to Boulder, Colorado and starting Thissongissick back in 2010. My name is Nick Guarino and this is Thissongissick.com. We've grown a lot since, but the original goal has always stayed the same: making it easier for you to discover sick new music that you've never heard before.
