To see rapper Logic go from being online hype, sponsored by Thissongissick for every mixtape, to having one of the most succesful hip-hop albums of the year is nothing short of incredible.
Today marks another check off the bucket list, as Logic continues his late night streak following up his visit to Jimmy Fallon with an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live. The artist will be a guest on the show Tuesday evening, but to make things even more unique and special, Logic will also perform at Jimmy's outdoor stage that will be broadcasted on TV. Artists bring in their own LA fanbase when playing at this stage, so to have someone like Logic play there is pretty insane, and we have full confidence there will be a line around the corner of those who won't make it in. Congratulations Logic, we could'nt be more excited to be apart of the ride!!
Check back for a recap of Logic's performance and if you live in LA and want to attend the event you can grab free tickets here.
2014 feels like the year of unexpected collaborations and that continues with hints of a potentially huge match up. Rapper and TSIS favorite Logic just posted a photo with young superstar producer Zedd in the studio with the caption “Worked on something crazy last night in the studio with Zedd.”
Logic is hot off the release of his debut album Under Pressure which smashed expectations as far as numbers go and translates the rappers unbelievable buzz into one of the most powerful forces in hip-hop to watch. Aside from enlisting Louis Futon for a remix of his song “Break It Down”, the rapper has never once ventured into the electronic space, staying pretty traditional and true to his signature style. Zedd, on the flip side, has never worked with a rapper before, not even with a remix.
We feel the lack of experience in each other's genres will lead to some amazing chemistry as both artists dive into something new at the same time, leaving us with something potentially groundbreaking.
Will they go more in the traditional progressive house styled side of Zedd or venture into something new like Vic Mensa's genre blending single “Down On My Luck”. What do you think?
From the looks of the picture, they look excited, which has us all very excited for what’s to come.
Logic, a rapper we have been featuring, sponsoring, premiering, and generally loving for the past few years, has released his debut album today. From his first mixtape, through his rise that has lead to today's release our admiration has only grown. We started by sponsoring his breakout mixtape Young Sinatra, followed up by both the Young Sinatra: Undeniable and Young Sinatra: Welcome To Forever mixtapes all supported up by matching sold out tours. Next, we broke the news of his major label signing with the iconic Def Jam Recordings, which was followed by the acclaimed While You Wait EP to keeping everyone happy with new material.
This has all paved the way for today's debut full-length studio album Under Pressure. Production on the album spans from 6ix, DJ Dahi, Dun Deal, M-Phazes, Rob Knox, S1,Tae Beast, to Logic himself. The entire album is executively produced by hip-hop icon No-ID who is known for his work with Kanye West and Jay-Z among countless others.
Thanks to his amazing team, Visionary Music Group, the entire full length deluxe version of the album is now available to stream in full via Soundcloud. The deluxe version spans 15 tracks, featuring verses solely from Logic (aside from two "Alright" ft. Big Sean and "Driving Ms. Daisy" ft. Childish Gambino). The album is an unbelievable listen from beginning to end and is without a doubt his best work to date. The tracks range from the signature relentless verses to the lyricist exploring new territories including singing on tracks like "Buried Alive". We strongly encourage you to pick up your copy of either the regular or deluxe version as both are available physically and everywhere online.

Logic – Under Pressure
Watching Logic rise from a TSIS sponsored breakout mixtape Young Sinatra, to getting signed to the iconic Def Jam Records and selling out multiple shows has been pretty unreal to watch unfold. Over the past few months he's continued the flow of new music including collaborations with massive artists ranging from Big Sean and Childish Gambino amongst others. Logic recently announced that his debut album Under Pressure is set for an October 22nd release date, and today we get a sample of what we can expect to be his best compilation of work to date.
The album-titled single "Under Pressure" features incredible production filled with organic elements and some clever vocal sampling that is actually produced by Logic himself. He lays down some non-stop verses that solidify Logic as one of the most impressive lyricists in the game.
This song is actually the first piece of music that Logic has sold to date, after several free mixtapes and music videos. With that much free material, he has built a strong army of loyal fans (aka the Ratt Pack) and they have been coming out in droves to support this amazing artist.
