Logic Tears Up the XXL Freshman Class Freestyle Cypher Along with All other Cyphers

XXL Magazine just let loose their legendary Cyphers. For those unaware, these are their freestyles from each person who made it on their annual Freshmen class cover. This first video show Dizzy Wright, This Song Is Sick favorite Logic, and the incredible female rapper Angel Haze. They all really tear up the beat, but Logic manages to blow it out. He lays down exactly why there is so much hype around him, and why he just got signed to Def Jam Recordings for his debut album. He manages to rep Visionary Music Group and the Ratt Pack (His loyal fans) both so hard in the cypher. Dizzy Wright and Angel Haze both bring it as well. Enjoy!

[NEWS] Logic Signs to Iconic Hip-Hop Record Label Def Jam Recordings

One of our favorite rappers that we have been supporting since day one, Maryland based Logic just announced a monumental record deal signing with iconic record label Def Jam Recordings. His entire Visionary Music Group crew got signed, leaving him with full creative control, so we don’t have to worry about his sound changing. In the past 2 years he has released two highly succecsful This Song Is Sick sponsered mixtapes Young Sinatra: Undeniable and Young Sinatra as well as sold out all across the US and Europe, really making him the perfect candidate for the huge record deal. Now he will have all the tools to create the best possible music yet. He also locked in the legendary hip-hop producer No ID to produce his debut album, the producer famous for working with Kanye West, Jay-Z, Big Sean, Common and Nas.

For those unaware the impressive Def Jam umbrella includes Jay-Z Roc Nation, Kanye West’s GOOD Music, Rick Ross’s solo deal, Rihanna, and so many more. Now Logic will be joining the all star cast and like we mentioned bringing along his Vissionary Music Group family, so we can expect the signature Logic we love, yet working with a doper lineup of artists.

Logic has dropped some of our favorite mixtapes in recent years including the recent This Song Is Sick sponsored Young Sinatra: Undeniable and Young Sinatra. He has also brought along C Dot Castro and Skizzy Mars for the entire tour, both great artists as well. We couldn’t be happier to have be a sponsor of this awesome tour. Logic is an incredible performer and can’t wait for those who haven’t seen him yet to be blown away on this tour.
