Listen To The Hudson Mohawke’s “Diplo and Friends Hip-Hop Mixtape” Ft. Kanye West, Action Bronson and MorePosted in Bangin, Chill, Mix / Playlist by Bryan | Tags: Diplo, Diplo & Friends, Hudmo, Hudson Mohawke, kanye west, Lunice, Mix, TNGHT
The prowess of world renown producer and previous TNGHT collaborator, Hudson Mohawke is simply jaw dropping as the Glasgow native continuously raises the bar for himself, so when we heard he was dropping an hour long hip-hop mixtape on "Diplo and Friends", we could hardly hold the excitement!
Hudmo has been ahead of the curve on blending hip-hop and electronic production before the latest trap wave, gaining him the attention of rappers like Kanye West and Action Bronson to produce records for them.
As he applies the finishing touches to a highly anticipated second album, Hudmo blessed Diplo's infamous BBC1 radio show "Diplo and Friends to rinse a full hour long hip-hop mixtape. The unveiling of unreleased Cashmere Cat, TNGHT, and some of his own produced collaborations like an amazing new unreleased song with Action Bronson to start the mix off right. The perfect blend of electronic and hip-hop elements further cements Hudmo as one of the best producers around. Stream this amazing episode and check out the full tracklisting below! We will update if download is released by him. Enjoy

Tracklist After The Jump
We recently heard "Can't Wait To" from Lunice, the first offering from his solo record earlier this month and today we get the latest news on the other half of TNGHT, Hudson Mohawke. This song "Chimes" was first debuted back in 2012 during TNGHT live shows and a live video of them playing the song at Trans Musicales surfaced online, which was actually one of the first things to get me hooked on the duo. The song starts with an unforgettable eerie synth quickly escalating to some relentless 808 filled drops and some chopped up effects leaving the listener with an unreal amount of energy for such a short song. This is the first track to be released of Hud Mo's upcoming brand new Chimes EP, featuring 4 new songs set to release September 30th via Warp Records.
The song was also just used in the latest Apple ad for MacBook Pro centered around stickers. Watch ad below

04. Chimes (Grammer Re-Edit)
Well the powerhouse duo of TNGHT has taken a break for both Hudson Mohawke and Lunice to focus on their solo careers. Lunice, a Montreal native is back with his first original offering since the split. "Can't Wait To" is a chilled out atmospheric blend of rap and electronic elements coming together for a solid trap instrumental. The song is delivered with some intriguing visuals featuring Lunice dancing with beams of light I've found out are from N9 lights on Lexus cars. Hate to say it but shouts to Lexus for possibly the most tasteful ad placement I've ever seen. This new single from Lunice could mark the first from his upcoming solo album set to release on LuckyMe Records sometime this year. Listen below in full and we will keep you updated on the official release. Enjoy!
Internationally connected beat-makers TNGHT comprised of Glasgow native Hudson Mohawke and Montreal based Lunice have let loose a video announcing the break up of the supergroup. This news comes very surprisingly considering their joint production was used for Kanye West’s recent single “Blood On The Leaves” along with a very successful original single “Acrylics” released this year. “Waning Moon” comes with a message from the Hudo and Lunice stating “Until Next We Meet”. We are also left with the social links for both Hud Mo and Lunice’s solo pages solidifying the current departure. With the duo’s track record of greatness, we can only assume this is a temporary move for both artists to fully focus on their solo careers.
We have included one of my favorite TNGHT tracks that is still unreleased, and will probably never see a release, so we have dug deep and included the best version of this amazing track. Stream below, let it mourn the loss, and most importantly enjoy!

TNGHT – Waning Moon (Break Up Announcement Video)
The exciting trap and hip-hop partnership of Chicago lyricist Rockie Fresh and Montreal beat maker Lunice have teamed up yet again to produce another track that showcases both of their talents. Picking up right where they left off on the spring release of ‘Panera Bread’ (read more here), ‘HEADQUARTERS Freestyle’ features one bumping trap beat from the TNGHT producer while Rockie Fresh spits some catchy bars. You can catch Rockie Fresh on his November HEADQUARTERS tour starting next week and Lunice in various cities throughout the fall. Enjoy

Chicago star Rockie Fresh drops us off his latest video for “Panera Bread”, his track featuring label boss Rick Ross and unstoppable producer Lunice (1/2 of TNGHT). This track has been one of my favorite Rockie tracks to date and deserved some proper visuals. Also look out for Maybach Music Groups’s Self Made 3 featuring some new Rockie Fresh, Rick Ross and the whole MMG cast dropping tomorrow through iTunes. Enjoy.

Rockie Fresh drops off a spur of the moment collaborative anthem “Panera Bread”. He brought out his label boss Rick Ross as well as previous collaborator Lunice (Half of TNGHT). The production is extra clean and paints the perfect soundtrack for both Rick Ross and Rockie Fresh to come it and wreck it. This is off a new Birthday Tape from Rockie coming out for free later this week. Enjoy!

Hudson Hohawke and Lunice under their TNGHT project let loose their unstoppable blend of progressive bass sounds with a hip-hop influence. “Acrylics” is crying to set festivals off, assaulting the listeners ears in all the right ways. The track will be doing just that as TNGHT plays both weekends of Coachella. They will also be playing a string of other dates including Philadelphia New York City, and San Francisco between April 10th – April 20th. See exact dates below.

The combination of Montreal based Lunice and Glasgow based Hudson Mohawke is unreal. The first song the unstoppable duo ever made together was “R U Ready”, and was self released on their soundcloud. It was then taken down almost immediately at request of Kanye West, who in turn used it in his Fashion show, see the video here. Well after the long wait of horrible rips and previews, we finally a high quality version of this trap banger to bump. Those horns.. so massive. Turn this up, enjoy!

The duo TNGHT (Lunice + Hudson Mohawke) are really set out to make 2013 their year. There has been some word about the duo working with Kanye West. To further cement that idea Lunice just dropped through BBC, this simple yet powerful trap edit of the massive hit “Clique” by Kanye West featuring Jay-Z and Big Sean. This track has such a smooth, clean vibe to it, unlike a lot of the over the top agressive trap I have been hearing recently. Will keep you posted once we hear anything about an official releaes. For now you can abuse the replay button, enjoy!
