Mac MIller drops new song “Watching Movies” from upcoming album

Mac Miller has been working hard on his second full length album Watching Movies With Sound Off set for a June 18th release. This song “Watching Movies” follows up “S.D.S.” yet maintains the new extra weird new direction Mac is going with his music. The production has a very eerie ominous flavor with Mac touching on some more real topics. This sounds completely different from anything he has ever done, and exciting to see him grow as an artist. Mac Miller unexepectedly teams up with intelligent beat music scene pioneer Flying Lotus for an incredible new track “S.D.S.”, complete with brand new visuals. The offbeat mildly weird track from Mac Miller gets a fittingly weird video showing Mac in Pajamas and surrounded by interesting characters. This sounds so far different then his older more predicatble tracks. Loving the bold shift, and hope to see him do more stuff with Fly Lo. This song is now available through iTunes. Enjoy!

Alright so not sure the exact involvement of Mac Miller, but he has blasted about this, and there are speculation that he is either the singer under an alter ego, or that he produced this project. Either way it called Larry Lovestein & The Velvet Revival and the You Ep It’s 5 songs of smooth sexy jazz. They are all real quality tracks. Mac Miller just did a completely unexpected cover of indie / folk artist Bright Eyes. He covered one of my favorite tracks sung by Coner Oberst aka Bright Eyes, “First Day Of My Life”. Mac didn’t turn it into a hip-hop remix sampling the beat, he covered it. Never heard Mac sing like this. And that’s Mac playing the guitar, complete with random solo at the end. Chill out, enjoy!

Mac Miller drops  an unexpected new track with a very mellow vibe, unlike his recent Pharrell collaboration “Onaroll”, the first track off their upcoming EP. Well this track “Day One: A Song About Nothing” is actually produced by Mac himself. The track has chilled out track has Mac mentioning some serious topics, with his overly comical tone as usual. The beat for being one of his first produced tracks is pretty on point, which I guess shouldn’t be too surprising since he’s getting taught from some of the best producers in the game. Now, I never thought I would post Justin Bieber but then I saw 2 Chainz, Mac Miller, and Asher Roth on the track name.  The first track features the Biebs singing the chorus, and then 2 Chainz, Mac Miller, and Asher Roth all throwing down lines in between. Then included is a bass heavy electro remix from Dada Life fit for the club which is one of Dada Life’s latest remixes is the Bieb’s track “Boyfriend”. Never thought I’d see any of these names together or that the song would actually turn out good. Enjoy!

Mac Miller, after dropping the Loud music video and single he drops his long awaited next mixtape Macadelic, should have been up right when it dropped, but we were at Ultra Music Festival with horrible internet. We’ve got a lot of cool new things coming for all the hip hops fans on the site. I’d been looking forward to this, especially because I love his K.I.D.S. mixtape 10x more then the Blue Slide Park album, so maybe I just like his mixtape vibe. This 17 track mixtape features some awesome featured guests like rappers Kendrick Lamar, Juicy J, and even Lil Wayne. Then they’ve got some amazing producer for the beats like Two Fres, Lex Luger, ID Labs, and more. and. I love the mellowed out vibe, similar to Wiz Khalifa’s recent Taylor Allderice Mixtape, which was named after the high school both Mac Miller and Wiz Khalifa attended. Mac Miller – Under The Weather : New Chill Hip Hop

Mac Miller’s big day is finally here, tomorrow marks the day he releases his debut full album release, Blue Slide Park. Although some think it’s release is getting overshadowed by Drake’s new release, Blue Slide Park will turn some heads. This track ‘Under the Weather’, is another laid back track, fitting with it’s name. It’s got a good chorus, and Mac spitting solidly from the beginning. The production is real legit, as usual.
