This is quite easily one of the most anticipated collaborations to be released this year as two of Mad Decent's finest producers finally deliver what is tipped to be a festival anthem for 2014. DJ Snake, who has a growing list of massive collaborations coming out this year and Dillon Francis, who's approaching the final stages of releasing his debut artist album threw everything but the kitchen sink at their original "Get Low", which compliments both artists unique styles to a T. The Arabian nights foundation makes way for an insatiable mixture of moombahton and trap elements that wreak havoc all over the beat. Turn your speakers all the way up and stream this track below! A continuously growing number of friends and worldwide recognition in and outside of music and pop-culture saw tastemaker extrodainare Diplo at the forefront of everything throughout 2013. Diplo Talks About The Rise & Origin of The Mad Decent Block Parties in Official 2013 Recap Video, Shouts to one of the most influential artists / DJs and record labels out therePosted in Events, News, Video by Bryan | Tags: Block Party, Diplo, Documentary, Mad Decent, Mad Decent Block Party
Over the past few summers, there is one event we’ve all looked forward to attending at least once and hoped we wouldn’t have to travel far to witness the Mad Decent Block Party. The at first small idea from the likes of Mad Decent‘s head honcho Diplo along with label members Paul Devro and Jasper Goggins has evolved into a major touring event that continues to set the bar for how to incorporate a neighborhood party atmosphere and provide fun for all showcasing some of the best music you should be listening to. The 2013 edition saw the MDBP expand from five stops to thirteen as cities like Las Vegas, Detroit, Ft. Lauderdale, Atlanta, and were treated a full day of partying with some of electronic music’s biggest artists from multiple genres. Major Lazer, Zeds Dead, Flosstradamus, Danny Brown, Matt & Kim, Riff Raff, Baauer, Big Gigantic, Dillon Francis, Griz and many more were all on hand at various stops along the way. They are talking about an even bigger event next year with potential stops at places ranging from Mexico City to Cleveland to Haiti haha. Check out this entertaining recap presented by Urbanears Enjoy
Diplo – Revolution EP : Huge 6 song release now available for download and stream [Trap / Hip-Hop / Electro]Posted in Bangin, Mixtapes / Albums by nick | Tags: Album Stream, Diplo, Electro, Electro House, Ep, Hip-Hop, Mad Decent, Rap, Trap Music
One of the biggest tastemakers in the electronic world Diplo drop’s his latest project, his Revolution EP now available via his label Mad Decent. The 6 song release continues to bridge his raw underground electronic roots with mainstream ready spin.
Starting off with ‘Biggie Bounce’ we get a radio friendly banger largely in part to guest rapper Travis Porter yet packs an underground punch thanks to guest co-producer the Indonesian Angger Dimas. ‘Revolution’ featuring Imanos and Faustix is another track aimed towards that has been getting play over the past few months. We saw one of my favorite tracks ‘Crown’ featuring Mike Posner and Riff Raff surface a few months back and still holds true to be one of my favorite tracks from the release. ‘Rock Steady’ is an incredible rap track filled with some raw verses from Action Bronson, Riff Raff Mr. MFN eXquire and even featuring Nicky Da B who you maye recognize from ‘Express Yourself’. Helping close out the 4 original songs are 2 remixes, the first being an unbelievable remix to ‘Revolution’ from Boaz van de Beat, that really isn’t one to miss. Then we end with the TWRK remix to ‘Biggie Bounce’, which is a beefed up version of the original.
You can stream the EP below, and we would strongly recommend grabbing a copy via iTunes from Mad Decent.

Dillon Francis looked to Diplo’s Mad Decent record label to release his lastest original anthem, “Messages”. From the beginning you hear the overly happy synths and on point vocal reworking all paced at Dillon’s signature slowed down Moombahton pace. It progresses to a simply massive drop that just seems to be even more epic then his previous Bootleg Fireworks. He manages to balance out the gritty edge with the overly happy breaks giving the song some great depth and variety. It is now availabel for purchase through iTunes. Enjoy!
