In recent weeks we’ve been pleasantly surprised with a peppering of new material coming from Major Lazer. These have come in the form of refreshing remixes of their own tracks from their massive 2015 album Peace Is The Mission, in addition to a completely new collaboration with Autoerotique as they touch on the future bass sound with a Major Lazer twist.
Today the new music keeps on coming as we've received another fresh remix from the ML crew, this time calling on rapper / singer D.R.A.M. for an additional verse on “Powerful (Ft. Ellie Goulding and Tarrus Riley)." On top of the additional verse, the track has been given a fresh makeover on the production side of things for more of a future bass / trap feel than the original. Listen below to hear for yourself and be sure to grab a free download curtesy of Major Lazer. Enjoy!

Just in time for the weekend, Major Lazer has released a remix of their own song “Light It Up" off their previous album Peace Is The Mission. Morphing the track into a heavy reggae moombahton dance banger, “Light It Up" is sure to have you bobbing your head from the very start.
Still featuring singer NYLA, the trio also brought on British rapper/singer Fuse ODG to add to the mix. The new take on the tune is a brighter, more up-beat creation with the addition of newly added trumpet melodies and a faster tempo guaranteed to have you dancing your way out of the office and into the weekend. Enjoy!

Earlier this month news broke that new music from Major Lazer was on the way even sooner than expected as ML visionary Diplo tweeted boasting 5 new tracks and a follow up to Major Lazer’s hit album “Peace Is The Mission” with a project tilted “Peace Is The Mission 2.0, said to be coming out "next month". We don't have news of an exact date or details on the nature of the project yet, but the announcement left us hungry for new Major Lazer as the news came with a preview of a massive Major Lazer collaboration with Canadian house extraordinaire AutoErotique titled "The Sound".
Today, we get a surprise release of the full song for free download! The track features signature reggae inspired vocals from ML paired with bouncy bass growls and infectious four four rhythms for a certified house banger. Listen to the stream below and be sure to grab your free DL. We will keep you up dated on all things Major Lazer as more new music approaches. Enjoy!
