Brace yourself for a strong injection of funky melodies as Santa Cruz resident producer Minnesota comes out of nowhere to release quite the smooth remix. Using the foundation provided by iconic bass duo Adventure Club's hit dubstep single "Gold" as his inspiration, Minnesota strips the track down to just the vocals by Yuma and layers in some glitch-hop elements, wonky bass knocks, and a funky cascading synth pattern that combine for quite the chilled out mixture. A free download is the icing on top of the perverbial cake, so stream the release below and above all… Enjoy

Minnesota just dropped off a free chill change of pace, the 2 song Eternal Frequencies – Equinox EP . The first song “Bloom” is a slow paced incredibly melodic dubstep anthem featuring some live instruments in a unique fashion. The second track “Stardst Redux” is space theme adventure fueled by a catchy acoustic guitar plucked melody. This new sound is so much more dynamic and layered then his previous work, and a step in an exciting direction. Glad he decided to give these out for free as well. Find somewhere to play these loud. Enjoy!

Everything that I hear produced by Minnesota packs so much soul and melodic vibes, and today we get Altered States, a 5 song EP spanning from dubstep to trap / hip-hop to even some glitch hop. We first heard “To the Floor” and which contained various elements some familiar and some foreign and delivered them in a very unique way. He even stepped outside the box and collaborated with Zion-I for a new version of “Float”, which seems like a natural fit with their hip-hop / electronic chemistry. This EP packs 5 solid tracks that leave you wanting more from Minnesota, doing just what a great EP should do. He also chose to give it out for free, something we push hard. Do yourself a favor, grab this whole release, or preview the trracks below. Enjoy!

Today I’ve got very well done smooth dubstep remix off the classic track “The Next Episode” by Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg off The Chronic 2001. Minnesota takes the classic hip-hop track and pumps it full of smooth fresh sounding bass, while emphasizing the “Hold Up” line. This is from the guy who made the HUGE Ellie Goulding’s “Starry Eyed“and Adele’s “Rolling in the Deep” remixes. Turn up the bass, enjoy!

Apparently everybody wants to remix Ellie Goulding, and I don’t blame anyone considering her voice is so perfect for it. I posted the Starry Eyed (Jakwob Remix) and it was one of the most popular dubstep remixes I posted. I’ve also posted a fair amount of other Ellie remixes, but today I’ve got another Starry Eyed banger. It’s done by Minnesota, the guy who brought you the epic collaboration remix with MartyParty of Rolling in The Deep. This track is pretty filthy, but in a smooth way. Even though I’ve heard Starry Eyed a million times, it still makes it it’s own new track. Turn up the bass and enjoy!
Adele – Rolling In The Deep (Deathstar Remix) : Epic New Dubstep Remix from MartyParty + Minnesota CollaborationPosted in Bangin by sage | Tags: Adele, BANGER, Dubstep, Electronic, Glitch, MartyParty, Minnesota, Remix
Rolling In The Deep is stil one of the most popular songs out and has got to be one of the most remixed tracks I’ve heard since Martin Solveig’s ‘Hello’. We posted the Ben Samples Remix a while back as well as his even more vicious VIP remix, and they both got a ton of love. This remix is as sick as the last one of not better. Deathstar is the brand new collaboration between producers Marty Party and Minnesota. This song is a preview of their new material. This song is the perfect combination of the two producers. Minnesota keeps the track very melodic while Marty Party brings the huge lead. I think Deathstar is an appropriate name for this duo because they will no doubt be destroying entire planets with their bass. Turn it up and enjoy!
