Here is our after parties that we are throwing every night at the Shadow Ballroom at Winter Park Mountain Lodge. Holy Ship 2013 Recap Video : Electronic Festival Cruise Ship + 2014 Details

Holy Ship!!! took place for it’s second encounter providing the ultimate 3 day electronic cruise experience. The unique event acts as a vacation for some of the top Dj’s in the world, and one of the most unique experience between fan and artists. From catching the nutty lineup featuring artists like Boys Noize and Justice and Skrillex throwing down Back 2 Back sets left and right to Skream and Benga and Baauer throwing out of the element straight hip-hop sets, being able to do activities like Putt Putt Mini-Gold with Dillon Francis, it is becoming one of the most legendary events in the electronic community. This video gives us a brief glimpse at all the sweaty sets that went down all throughout the ship, and then the incredible Beach Party on the private island in the Bahamas. SnowGlobe 2012 – 2013 Music Festival Official Recap Video : Snow Festival Feat. Deadmau5, Laidback Luke, Wiz Khalifa, & More

SnowGlobe Music Festival went down for it’s secondtime this past New Year’s weekend over the December 28th – 31st  weekend. Different then then the majority of music festivals this took place in the snowy wonderland of  Lake Tahoe, California where you could hit the mountains during the morning and rage to your favorite artists for 3 days straight. Great music managed to encourage tens of thousands to bring in the new year through the raging  cold. For those who love snow and music, there no better place to be then here or it’s Colorado counter-part SnowBall. The lineup was jaw dropping from the headliners like Deadmau5, Laidback Luke, Chromeo, Big Gigantic, and Wiz Khalifa to the upcoming heat like Flosstradamus, Mimosa, Minnesota, Gramatik, Baauer, Griz, Clockwork, Cherub, and more. This year there were even snowboarders and skiiers doing Big Air right next to the main stage which added to the winter oasis. Watch a sample and count down the days till next year!

TomorrowLand 2013 Announces Line-Up Round 1

The legendary electronic festival taking place in Belgium over the weekend of July 26th – 28th,  TomorowLand has announced the first phase of it’s line-up. There are only 7 acts announced so far, but with the festival’s history this is only a sampling of a massive lineup. And this hasn’t stopped tens of thousands from already planning their international trips.

The Governors Ball NYC Music Festival 2013 Full Lineup : Impressive Lineup Including 50+ Acts on Randall’s Island, New York

As the the year continues to kick off we get another incredible lineup for one of the summer’s biggest parties in America. The Governors Ball takes place every year in New York City at Randall’s Island, an actual island. The festival is taking place over the weekend of June 6th, 7th, and 8th. It seems to always have a massive lineup filled with big headliners to some of the best buzzing upcomers. The Ball’s lineup tends to be a great mixture of everything hip. From a great balance of hip-hop, electronic, indie, blues, folk, and other live acts. It seems to be a great alternative for those in the North East not looking to make the nationwide trek.

This lineup is insane. Not an event to miss for anyone within range!

Electric Forest 2013 Announces Dates + Recap Video : One of the Best Camping Festivals in the United States

Yesss… Electric Forest just announced dates for it’s 2013 festival, this time taking place 4 days over the weekend of June 27th – June 30th. It takes place in Michigan at the very awesome location of JJ Resort Ranch which is a Forest which has countless options of camping and VIP camping, and even cabins and hotels. It was my first camping festival 2  summers ago, and I could not have been happier. Look above at the video as it takes you through glimpses of artists playing all the different stages, all of the art, and even a shot of the legendary waterpark. The festival has a great blend of electronic and live acts, and some hip-hop thrown in there. Last year we got to hook someone up with a VIP experience, and this year will be doing some more contests. You can be sure to expect This Song Is Sick as there is nothing that could stop us from making it out to the forest once again!

Last year we had the incredible opportunity to host a secret TBA set at Electric Forest on the Saturday night at the Forest Stage which hosted the first performance ever of a super side group Big Grizmatik featuring Dominic Lalli of Big Gigantic, GRiZ, and both members of Gramatik. Grizmatik has since released a single with music video and played some other secret sets and will be one of the headliners at this years SnowBall in Colorado. Spring Awakening Music Festival 2013 : First Headliners Announced / Leaked, Early Bird Tickets Sell Out, 3 Days Now

Last year marked the first for Spring Awakening Music Festival, one of the new strictly electronic festivals that brought in over 50,000 people it’s first year. The festival is returning to the legendary Soldier Field in the heart of Chicago this year now taking place 3 days during June 14th, 15th, & 16th. The festival is expecting to be even bigger, with over 75,000 in attendance, and over 100 Dj’s in playing over the 3 days. Early bird tickets went on sale this morning and sold out, so look out for the next round of cheap tickets before going up again.

There are two confimred headliners so far, the mastermind of bass, Bassnectar. Then on the complete other spectrum of the electronic world, house legend turned mainstream star Calvin Harris will be headlining as well. There are also some strong rumors that we can’t full confirm, but would like to very much believe due to artists either accidentally announcing after playing a show in Chicago and online. These names have not been confirmed by the festival, but include: Zeds Dead, NERVO, and Gramatik.

The whole This Song Is Sick crew is looking forward to this massive 3 days in the wonderful city of Chicago!

Stereosonic Music Festival just went down this past weekend in Australia in 5 cities across the country including Sydney, Perth, Melbourne, Adelaide, and Brisbane. The festival featured lineup of countless artists from big name house acts like Tiesto, Calvin Harris, Martin Solveig, and then some huge bass heavy artists like Bassnectar, Datsik, Flux Pavillion, Krewella and so many more. We now get a few live sets from some of the big acts on main stage including sets from Tiesto, Avicii, Calvin Harris, Tommy Trash, and Martin Solveig. Each one of these aritst really represents a different part of the bigger EDM scene and their style shines through on each mix so well. Summer Set Music & Camping Festival 2012 (Official After Video) [TSIS PREMIERE]

Remember Summer Set Music Festival at the end of August? Here’s the official after recap video for the the first year camping festival that took place in the Mid-West in Wisconsin, right by Minniapolis, MN. It was put on by React Presents, Majestic Madison, and Sound in Motion, and they pulled it off. There was over 30k tickets sold (Over 10k people per day) that made it out, and a well rounded insane lineup. The headliners included Pretty Lights, Big Gigantic, and Umphree’s McGee. Other huge names on the lineup were hip hop stars Nas and Black Star (Mos Def & Talib Kweli), indie duo Matt and Kim, on top of Zeds Dead, Excision, Lotus, Mimosa, MSTRKRFT, Cherub, Rebelution, RJD2 / Break Science, Paper Diamond, GRiZ, Two Fresh, Alvin Risk, Pantyraid, Bingo Players, Timeflies, and a bunch of others. It’s about time that we give more shed some more light on a festival we are more then excited for.. Summer Set Music & Camping Festival taking place in Somerset, Wisconsin August 24-26th and looks to be another epic camping festival. The lineup and atmosphere remind me alot of Electric Forest, and that’s a great thing considering it was one of our favorite festivals of the year. Right on the balanceo of big enough to have an epic lineup, but not too big to be annoying like Ultra or Coachella.

Camp Bisco Music Festival 2012 Official Lineup Including Skrillex, Bassnectar, Atmosphere, Amon Tobin, A-Trak, and 100 Others

Today I’m excited to bring you details on another great music festival that we have partnered up with, Camp Bisco. Taking place over the weekend of July 12th – 14th, Camp Bisco is a camping music festival that takes place in the woods of upstate New York, bringing in over 25,000 people. This festival was started by The Disco Biscuits, who close out the festival all three nights; for those unfamiliar the Biscuits were one of the first electronic / live acts to really begin taking off and carving the way for live electronic music. Now 11 years later their party has really become something massive bringing in some of the best live music spanning over various, but with a prominent electronic theme. Headlining this year’s festival with be two of the current kings of bass music, Bassnectar and Skrillex. Sure to blow your mind the Amon Tobin ISAM LIVE live show taking visual lighting effects to another level. Atmosphere always has a memorable live show reminding us that good hip hop does exist. Then A-Trak, Dada Life, Zeds Dead, Mimosa, Porter Robinson, Zedd, Kill the Noise, Mord Fustang, 3LAU, Alvin Risk, The M Machine, Craze, Bonobo, Simian Mobile Disco (DJ Set), and a fat stack of other DJ’s that are going to blow minds day and night. Big Gigantic will be breaking out their jaw dropping light show to the unique infectious sound of bass powered saxophone. Crystal Castles will be performing a live set that should really turn some heads. Break Science featuring Chali 2na of Jurassic 5 is always an exciting performance with a cinematic quality. Also showcasing how great live and electronic music can blend will be Lotus, Gramatik and Eliot Lipp (Live). Don’t forget the I’m only highlighting only a few of the amazing acts on the lineup, which features over 100+ acts playing. To see this many acts for under $200 is incredible.
