Being one of the first artist's signed to Skrillex's OWSLA Record Label, Melbourne producer Nick Thayer has solidified his place within electronic music by leaving no genre untouched throughout various originals (check out his massive Worlds Collide EP) and remixes. Getting officially licensed to use Fall Out Boy's rock hit "My Songs Know What You Did In The Dark Light Em Up" as a base, Nick Thayer has tweaked the original into an Electro / Dubstep heater for your audible pleasure. Screeching synths combine with wonky bass blasts at the drop while the original lyrics are left intact. Stream this exclusive premiere below and no word on release details currently. Enjoy

I love a great remix of a classic. Today I’ve got a funky bass filled remix to Foriegner’s “Cold As Ice”. It’s from A.Skillz and Nick Thayer. A.Skillz brought the incredibly catchy “California Soul” remix last summer, which I’ve included below because It’s starting to feel like summer again. The other half of the track Nick Thayer was just featured in the recent OWSLA free treats release. They teamed up for a Moombahton / Electro remix that keeps a great balance of the original and a fresh new vibe. Turn it up, enjoy!

My story has changed quite a lot since moving to Boulder, Colorado and starting Thissongissick back in 2010. My name is Nick Guarino and this is Thissongissick.com. We've grown a lot since, but the original goal has always stayed the same: making it easier for you to discover sick new music that you've never heard before. In high school I would make mix cd's for my friends to show them all the new music I was discovering. Now, through TSIS, we work with musicians and record labels from all over the world to showcase a variety of the freshest electronic, hip-hop, indie, and alternative music to a global following that is comprised of millions of music lovers in over 110 countries - every single month.
