Brooklyn duo The Golden Pony have been blessing us with some unreal funky fresh remixes including Hozier's "Take Me To Church," ILoveMakonnen's “Tuesday,” Outkast’s "Ms Jackson,” and Flume & Chet Faker’s “Drop The Game.” Now this talented duo have put their efforts into their first official original release on a label, which they have released via Thrive Music.
"Die Inside Your Dance" is a groovy track is highlighted by the deep, strutting bassline and infectious vocals, which combine to create a summer ready nu-disco meets deep house vibe. The Brooklyn duo enlisted the talents of Savoir Adore’s Paul Hammer for his indie rock roots and spiritual vibe that adds a nice balance for the tracks pumping beat which they said he completed the track with "some vocoder gizmo in his bedroom.” These musicians have some good history together as they explained they met through mutual friends and that Paul "ended up doing a dj set at a party we threw, and soon after we did a remix of his hit single "Dreamers". Oliver Nelson is an exciting new artist from Sweden who we've had the pleasure of introducing to you all. Over the past year he has rolled out various remixes from tracks, including his remixes of Ella Henderson's "Ghost", Tove Lo's "Habits" and many more. Well, the exciting young producer continues to grow as an artist with the release of his debut original single "Found Your Love", and today we have the premiere of the Dub Edit. Now globally recognized house act Duke Dumont who's turned out hits like "Need U (100%)", "Won't Look Back" and "I Got U" is back with his latest new single. "The Giver" which surfaced on Annie Mac's radio show as "Hottest Record" all the way back in 2012 but the track wasn't done in Duke's book just quite yet. He's completely restructured the song giving us "The Giver" Reprise, following the same upbeat melodic vibe Duke is known for with a splash of disco vibes.
