OnCue – Can’t Wait : Must Hear Hip Hop Mixtape

Today I’ve got another full release from Connecticut to New York rapper OnCue. It’s following up his Cuey Sing the Blues and Leftovers mixtapes. This mixtape entitled Can’t Wait is an amazing 15 song hip hop ride filled a variety of mostly down tempo relatively chill tracks. We featured music videos for Feel Tall and All the Way already off the tape. Most of the production is from CJ Luzi, and he absolutely kills it with some very organic hip hop beats. OnCue kills it on just about every single track, including a collab with Mike Posner, a few favorites highlighted below. He’s one of the rappers that actually has some stories to tell, and delivers them very well, reminding me of Macklemore mixed with Slug from Atmosphere. More rappers should take a lesson. I’ve picked a handful of my favorites, but the whole thing is worth a download. Enjoy!

OnCue – All the Way : New Chill Hip Hop Song + Music Video

Today I’ve got some chill visuals to the track ‘All The Way’ from OnCue. OnCue’s the now NY based rapper who’s got a chill unique flow. He released the Cuey Sing the Blues and Leftover mixtapes which have gotten alot of love. Well now we’ve got the first song ‘All the Way’ off his upcoming album ‘Can’t Wait’. The video follows Cuey walking around, and has some sick visual effects with a red/blue classic 3d feel. Check it out, chill, enjoy!

The Dean’s List – All Systems Go (Ft. OnCue) : Exclusive Music Video Premiere

Today we’re excited to premiere the latest music video from one of our favorite up and coming hip hop groups, The Dean’s List. We featured their must hear The Drive In mixtape a few months ago, and on the mixtape was the track All Systems Go featuring OnCue (Cuey Sing the Blues, Leftover). This collaboration was defintely one of my favorite tracks on the mixtape. It’s got such a unique sound, with tons of effects and trippy sounds, and then both Sonny and Cuey delivering some good bars. I’ve listened to this track a ton, so having some nice visuals with it makes it even better. Check it out, chill, enjoy!

Mixtapes and freely distributed albums are one of the best way an artist can get their music out to a mass amount of people. Some mixtapes are so-so, and others just blow you away. Some are so good it’s hard to believe they are free. and that’s why every single one of these artists are blowing up so fast. 2010 had a huge amount of quality mixtapes/ free albums, and it was hard, but I’ve picked the 15 best, and a few honorable mentions because it was too hard to pick just 15.
