Dillon Francis drops us off his latest monsterous remix, this time taking on “Carried Away” from Passion Pit. He starts off with some intense chopping of the vocals and some signature upbeat synths. Then it moves to a bass thumping moombahton paced drop that is guaranteed to get you moving. This is been getting played out by Dillon and a huge amount of other big DJs. Turn this up, enjoy!

“Carried Away” off Passion Pit‘s recent Gossamer album just got a full video production to complete the catchy song. It follows lead singer Michael Angelakos and his girlfriend (SophiaBush) through a series of light hearted antics. It compliments the soft track very well. Also included is the bonus smooth beach themed remix from Viceroy. Enjoy!

Tiesto creates epic big room house remixes unlike anyone else. He just took the catchy single “Carried Away” from indie band Passion Pit and turned it into a full on floor shaking Progressive House bomb. The music video to go along with it is just as huge as the song itself. It shows these people eating colorful powder, throwing match down their throat.. then exploding into multiple versions of themselves. Then the video gets extra bizzare. All in all a perfect way to launch what is sure to be the next big anthem.

Easily one of the most enjoyable festivals of this past year was Buku Music & Art Project which took place in New Orleans last march. The festival had an intimate vibe being under 10,0000 people, and took place right on the water at Mardi Gras World, the famed warehouse / shipyard that all of the insane Mardi Gras floats get built at year round. The uniquely set festival also boasted a jaw dropping lineup which featured Skrillex, Wiz Khalifa, Avicii, Diplo, Big Gigantic, Porter Robinson, Big K.R.I.T., and Wolgang Gartner among others. With so many of the aritsts from last years lineup exploding in size, I coudln’t help but wonder how they could possibly match the lineup.. Well look below and you will see they more then matched it, it might be even better! The festival will be returning to New Orleans in 2013 for the weekend of March 8th and March 9th. We are excited to be partnering up with Buku again for 2013! Tickets go on sale for Buku 2013 this Friday, December 7 at 11:00 a.m. CST.

Lately i’ve got a little sick of mash-ups as i’ve been hearing a lot of no so great ones. Well this latest one submitted by Adam S. from the Bay area features the indie band Passion Pit and the locked in jail Lil Wayne. It is pretty chill, and features more then just a vocal track over the original, there’s a sick beat accompanying. I’m sure you’re all gonna enjoy this chill Mash-up done by Brenton Duvall.
Ambien (Sleepy Trip) – Passion Pit vs Lil Wayne ft. Trina
Hey had to throw a post together about these guys, they’re soo sick. Chiddy Bang is the name, and it is made up of the front man Proto, the producer Xaphoon Jones, and drummer and guitarist. Bursting out of the scene from Philadelphia, and with a bang, receiving much attention from they’re mixtape “The Swelly Express”. Check out this song based off MGMT’s “Kids”, re-warped and given a completely different feel, with Proto laying down some sick verses over it giving the song a Electronic / Rap mash feel. Whatever it is, it works and is called “The Opposite of Adults (KIDS)”
This group is so sick I had to throw you guys a second track by them. It features a Passion Pit song this time, and this one’s called Truth. Might sound a little different at first, wait till Proto comes in with some sick verses.
