Posted in Bangin, Events, Video by nick | Tags: Coachella, Coachella 2013, Daft Punk, Live Stream, PhoenixDay 1 of Coachella was huge, and enjoyed by everyone online yesterday. Well now we can watch the live stream of Day 2 of the festival with an electronic all star lineup and some great live acts, and all the ingredients are set for Daft Punk to make a surprise appearance during Phoenix’s set, watch below and see why here.
Here is why Daft Punk could very well have a guest appearance during Phoenix’s set which is getting streamed tonight, below. Here is the back story on why this could happen: French band Phoenix features members Thomas Mars (vocals), Deck d’Arcy (bass), Laurent Brancowitz (guitar), Christian Mazzalai (guitar) all of which were in a band with both Bangalter and Guy-Manuel of Daft Punk. Daft Punk’s last appearance in the past 4 years has been stepping in during Pheonix’s sold out Madison Square Garden show in 2009, so this would be nothing new. They also released a trailer featuring Pharrell for their new album at Coachella yesterday, and have been hanging out at the festival. and are confirmed to be hanging out at the festival yesterday. All I can say, make sure you are watching Channel 1 at 11:35pm PST / 2:35am EST to Phoenix’s set. But who knows, maybe I’m crazy.
Aside from Daft Punk, ther is also have Knife Party, Bassnectar, Major Lazer, Baauer, Benny Benassi, The Postal Service, The XX, Portugal. The Man, Moby, Hot Chip, and lot more streaming their full sets live below. Look below at the schedule and tune into the 3 live channels!

Chill Rock Remix: Phoenix – Long Distance Call (25 Hours A Day Remix)
Posted in Chill by nick | Tags: Phoenix, Remix, rockPhoenix is sick…. and although I don’t post much rock on the site, it doesn’t mean there isn’t a bunch of sick bands out there. I’ve found myself liking Phoenix some time last summer, and every now and again I’ll hear a sick Phoenix song or remix, like the Jay-Z mashup posted earlier. And today I’ve got a sick remix by 25 Hours A Day. It’s of their track ‘Long Distance Call’. Now this remix doesn’t have that BANGER remix feel to it, more of a chilled out rock remix. Whatever it is, it is sick, so give it a chance and enjoy!

Jay-Z Triple Remix and Mashup Post!
Posted in Bangin, Chill by nick | Tags: Don Diablo, Electro, Hip-Hop, indie, Jay-Z, mash-up, Oasis, Phoenix, Rap, rock, STS9Tonight Jay-Z is performing at the Pepsi Center, and I am lucky enough to have a friend who’s giving me one of his 9th row tickets, opening up for Jay-Z is Young Jeezy, Trey Songz, and randomly enough STS9, well I haven’t been this excited for a show in awhile, enjoy these Jay-Z mashups and remix. First up we’ve got a real sick remix of Public Service Announcement by Jay-Z, which at first seems like a very subtle remix, but gets progressively more intense throughout the whole song and then just goes into an intense electro/dubstep break at about 2:40 so be prepared for it haha. It’s done by the very talented group Clockwork making their name out of the LA scene. It’s a pretty sick remix though, worth checking out.

Alright next up is such a sick combination of 3 songs. It features Jay-Z’s 99 problems which has been mashed up alot, but this is one is just so sick. It also features the growing in popularity Phoenix, and Don Diablo all together to produce a very sick indie/dance sounding version of 99 Problems which comes together very nicely. This is one that really deserves a full listen through, then give me your thoughts, enjoy.

Next and lastly we’ve got a mash-up alot of you guys might not think the idea of works, but surprisingly it does. It’s the great Jay-Z mashed with Oasis, it sounds a little wtf, but then you get used it and enjoy it a little bit haha. Well let me know your opinions on all these Jay-Z tracks, and send me one if you’ve got it through the dropbox on the right. Enjoy as always!
