Mysteryland USA 2015 Lineup Is Out Of Control Featuring Porter Robinson, Diplo, Kygo, Dillon Francis, Madeon and 100 more!Posted in Bangin, Chill, News by nick | Tags: Dillon Francis, Diplo, Kygo, Lineup, Madeon, Mysteryland, Porter Robinson
The incredible folks at ID&T who are responsible for both iconic and globally renown festivals TomorrowLand and TomorrowWorld expanded their first live event Mysteryland to the US last year and it was quite a success. The festival took over the same location as the historic American music festival Woodstock 69' which provided the perfect backdrop to the new festival. The festival will be returning over the weekend of May 23rd – 24th this year.
Just minutes ago festival organizers unleashed the lineup for the 2015 edition of the festival, and man did they step it up for year two.
Headliners include Diplo, Kygo, Dillon Francis, Porter Robinson, Madeon, Robin Schulz, GRiZ, Gramatik, The Martinez Brothers, Netsky and so many others!
This year’s festival also has an exceptionally well-curated lineup featuring a massive spread of genres.
With the likes of tropical wonderkid Kygo headlining the main stage it’s evident that the “Tropical House” explosion is not slowing down anytime soon. Rising stars Bakermat and Klingande are sure to help cement this wave of popularity as well.
Another group making an impact are all of the Electro-Funk/Soul acts like heavyweights Griz and Gramatik holding it down with Manic Focus which are all live acts that are sure to not disappoint.
Most impressive seems to be that American festivals such as Mysteryland are starting to curate lineups that include pioneers in the deep house and tech house genres. For tech house we have the much talked about Ibiza legends The Martinez Brothers headlining the Flying Circus stage on Sunday along with Martin Buttrich. You know deep house is alive and well at Mysteryland when you have artists like UK’s Maya Jane Coles and Matthew Dear curating their own stage.
Although mainstream electronic music has been scaled back, Mysteryland still secured some all time favorites such as Porter Robinson, Diplo, Dillon Francis and Bro Safari. Overall a very well rounded line up that is sure to please.

The 23 year old Australian producer has pulled out all the stops with his latest remix of the epic "Years Of War" track featured on Porter Robinson’s debut album Worlds.
The combination of these two artists is absolutely great. Taking the already feel good anthem that is “Years Of War”, Golden Features has completely flipped the script by creating a new atmosphere around the song. From the pitch on the lush vocals to the deeper, techno flavored bassline we really get to experience this club-ready song in a whole new light. Porter Robinson delivers the final single before his highly anticipated genre-shifting sophomore album Worlds is released worldwide in just weeks. We have seen Porter break outside of his bass heavy box he created from his first record right before our very eyes on this new release. With previous releases "Sea of Voices", "Sad Machine", and "Lionhearted" all expanding his musical style in their own way, keeping us guessing. "Flicker" shows similar qualities with a melodic blend of chill house elements, a dash of disco, quirky synth patterns, and knocks of electro act as the foundation with some chopped up Asian vocals sprinkled throughout. TRACKLIST AFTER THE JUMP
Porter Robinson status amongst electronic music's elite is without question as the young producer prepares to release the studio album of his dreams titled Worlds on the prestigious Astralwerks Records. We've already heard tracks off the upcoming release, "Sea Of Voices" & "Sad Machines", but now see one of the most creative pieces of art and music combined as the highly anticipated single "Lionhearted" is delivered with quite the visual aspect as well after it's premiere on BBC during Zane Lowe's show. The cinematography on display showcases beautiful scenes of Porter and a gang of Harajuku ladies taking over the streets of somewhere in Japan adding color to the dull surroundings perfectly accenting the songs' tranquil synth patterns, and lively vocals from Urban Cone. The story culminates in a unexpected manner that will leave avid Porter Robinson fans stunned, yet could have a deeper meaning of his core fans backlash at his new sound. You can watch the music video below and pre-order Worlds via iTunes now! Enjoy

Porter Robinson is one of the most exciting artists to come out of the seemingly stale side of big name dance music side in recent years and has captured the attention of many with the highly anticipated release of his second full length artist album Worlds. We've already seen two tracks unveiled as "Sea of Voices" and "Sad Machine" created an uproar of excitement internationally. The album is set to release through iconic North American dance imprint label Astralworks and will see Porter performing a series of shows in support of the album. The tour kicks off on August 28th in Vancouver and will run all throughout the US and Canada ending in Miami on October 18th. He is bringing out the very talented Norwegian live electronic act Lemaitre, who will be opening up the night through the length of the tour. Although the dates are far later in the year, with his track record for live shows selling out and added excitement of the new album I wouldn't wait too long to grab tickets when they go on sale this Thursday at 10 am MST.
Porter Robinson delivers the second single "Sad Machine" off his highly anticipated debut artist album Worlds set to release through Astralworks following up "Sea of Voices". We hear an electro pop side of Porter with some vocals from himself for the very first time, vocoded obviously. Listen to the song below and check out some words from Porter:
"I’d used Vocaloid as the vocals for several of the songs on Worlds, and then the idea of a duet between a lonely robot girl and the human boy who encounters her occurred to me. I didn’t have much time before I had to turn in the entire album, so I just sang the male parts. I wanted something that felt distantly sad, a little cute, surreal, hopeful, and maybe somehow evocative of fiction?" – Porter Robinson
