Posted in Bangin by nick | Tags: , , , , , , , , , , , ,

Willy Joy does the liberty of taking the smooth progressive electro house anthem “Easy” by Porter Robinson & Mat Zo and blasting it full of an edgier trap styled banger. The remix has some electro influence yet actually comes in at 140, dubstep speed. The track can’t really be contained to one genre other than sick. I loved the original and was waiting for a more bass heavy remix. Turn this up, enjoy!

Posted in Bangin, Video by nick | Tags: , , , , , ,

Porter Robinson’s recent single “Language” was the rising star’s most melodic track to date, and has been his biggest track getting played by countless DJ’s across the world. To justify the HUGE track, he made an incredible music video with a crazy sci-fi theme. The video follows a girl as she ventures through a world, followed by various creatures, then a bigger transparent beast. Watching it let’s you get lost in the dream like fantasty world. I can tell this video will be pretty big. Enjoy!

Porter Robinson – Language (Original Mix) : New Electro House / Progressive House Anthem + Album Stream

Posted in Bangin by nick | Tags: , , , , , ,

Excited to bring you the latest track from the young powerhouse Porter Robinson. Ever since his Spitfire album, he’s been playing festivals across the nation, selling out shows left and right. We posted up the album for those who missed it below. After playing lots of big festivals his overall sound has shifted from a less hard hitting crunchy sound, and to more of a happy progressive house sound. Don’t get me wrong, it’s still a BANGER that hits hard, but certainly carries more of a melody then his past. It’s fit for having a whole arena dancing along to it. Turn it up, enjoy!

Chuckie vs Knife Party – Who Is Ready to Jump (Revolvr Bootleg) : Must Hear Electro Bootleg Mashup

Posted in Bangin by nick | Tags: , , , , , , , , ,

Today I’ve got a huge new bootleg mashup featuring Chuckie’s ‘Who Is Ready to Jump’, Porter Robinson’s ‘Unison (Knife Party Remix)’, and the 90′s hip hop song KRISS KROSS – “Jump”. The song starts off with Chuckie’s anthem, then goes into KRISS KROSS adding a cool completely different vibe to the whole track. Then it builds up and hits you hard with one of the filthiest drops I know, Porter Robinson – Unison (Knife Party remix). This track works well, and should be really helpful to all the DJ’s out there, as this track will go over HUGE!! Turn up the bass, enjoy!

The made the Avicii – Seek Bromance remix that a simliar heavy electronic meets live electronic band sound that worked very well. This track is a lot more agressive and heavy then the original. This is the official release of the song, there are no plans to sell it, and Porter has given full approval. Turn up the bass, enjoy!

Quick Inside Look at Porter Robinson – Thissongissick Interview [TSIS EXCLUSIVE]

Posted in Bangin, Interview, Video by nick | Tags: , , , , , ,

Hey guys, we’ve been going through some changes, and have a sick interview that we did a few months ago with Porter Robinson. This is a quick inside look at Porter Robinson, showing his thoughts on how people react to music, a breakdown of what he has in store with his live sets, outlook on touring, past thoughts on making “the most exciting drop ever”, and his 2 goals in making music. His Spitfire album has been incredibly successful, (listen to the whole thing below), and he’s been touring with countless big names like Skrillex, Tiesto, Zedd, and a ton more. This really is the year for Porter.

Porter states how his original goal was to make “the most exciting drop ever”. then moves onto his admiration for hyper detailed music from artists like Wolfgang Gartner and Noisia, but liked how “hard and danceable they kept they’re music”. He ends with his conclusion for his outlook on making music “Fuck everything else except for those two goals, I want to be complex,  and I want it to be agressive.”  He certainly does both of those so well, and been doing nothing but making HUGE waves since the interview. It was a great pleasure to sit down with Porter, and it’s really amazing to see how big he is getting, and how fast. Hope everyone enjoyed this quick inside look on Porter Robinson.

This video was filmed by our friends Cinesthetics, who do some of the best Photo and Video work I’ve we’ve ever seen. Follow them on Facebook Here. This interview was filmed at Global Dance Festival at Red Rocks, check out more information on the festival here.
