Robotic Pirate Monkey – Banana Cannon : Funky Fresh Massive Dubstep / Bass Music BANGER

Posted in Bangin by nick | Tags: , , , ,

Robotic Pirate Monkey aka RPM have been hard at work producing potentially there best project to date, the heat.wave EP. We’ve been a big supporter of the Boulder trio since there early Disturbing Pleasant Streets, and then after an album, an ep, and a handful of other tracks they dropped the incredible Colors In Disguise free album last December. Continuing on there path of creating a funky fresh sound of that’s truly there own we get ‘Banana Cannon’ which is the first single off their upcoming heat.wav EP coming out August 15th. It’s filled with some of the cleanest most brutal thumping bass drops with a fresh funky completely unique vibe in the mix. I can’t wait to hear the rest of the EP if it’s anything like this. Find some massive speakers with a good amount of mass and blast  the BANANA CANNON. Enjoy!

Gotye – Somebody I Used To Know (Robotic Pirate Monkey Remix) : Funky Electro House / Dubstep Remix

Posted in Bangin by nick | Tags: , , , , , , , ,

Well here’s the second remix of the track that’s becoming quite popular ‘Somebody I Used To Know’ by Gotye. We already featured the Avicii styled house remix by Jakob Liedholm here, and now we get Robotic Pirate Monkey’s version. It’s got a funky electro vibe to it. It just might be their name, but almost everyone one of their songs sounds like the pefect soundtrack for a massive jungle concert, maybe it’s just me. This, like all there music has a very unique vibe to it. It changes up heavily throughout, and really can’t be held to one genre, other than Bass Music. Turn it up, enjoy!

Robotic Pirate Monkey – Last Night (Ft. Rodway) : Chill Electronic / Bass Music Collaboration

Posted in Bangin, Events by nick | Tags: , , , , , , , , ,

It’s always cool hearing artists drop a variety of kinds of music. RPM’s last album Colors in Disguise went a little on the bass heavy side, and this track is a more laid back sample based  track. This one “Last Night” Ft. fellow Colorado producer Rodway, is a new track given away for free by both artists. The guitars and vocals, chopped up in melodic way work very well. Turn it up, enjoy!

Robotic Pirate Monkey – Colors In Disguise (Official Release) : Must Hear New Electronic / Dubstep / Bass Music Album

Posted in Bangin by nick | Tags: , , , , , , , , ,

Today I’ve got an an amazing album that should be for sale, but is given away for free. These guys give their music away in hopes that you’ll see them live in concert, which is definitely a necessary part to really experience the music. It’s the latest album Colors In Disguise from Robotic Pirate Monkey aka RPM. We featured Hellevator, Party Animal, and Rio De Fuego off the album. Once the told me they were going to be making an original complete album, as opposed to something remix based. I loved their old stuff but knew they could deliver a more complete musical product; well that’s exactly what this album is. Its ranges from the chiller laid back tracks to some very hard hitting bass filled anthems. It sounds like nothing I have ever heard, really blending a ton of genres throughout. The entire thing is great from start to finish. Find some good speakers or headphones, sit back, enjoy! Enjoy!

Robotic Pirate Monkey – Hellevator : Must Hear New Dubstep / Electro / Bass Music Song

Posted in Bangin by nick | Tags: , , , , , , , , ,

Robotic Pirate Monkey, the trio from Boulder who’s dropped a few notable mixtapes, remixes, and singles on the site, is back with the last single off their upcoming full album Colors In Disguise coming out next Monday December 5th. The first two Rio De Fuego and Party Animal were pretty sick, but I really am loving this one. It starts with an amazing use of sampling, builds up and then quickly crushes to a filthy bass filled drop. The song has a slower speed giving it a different feel that works very well. The classic sample mixed flawlessly with this unique sounding bass throughout really gives it that unique sound that it seems like they’re carving. Find some massive speakers, turn up the bass, enjoy!

Robotic Pirate Monkey – Party Animal : Must Hear Electronic / Dubstep Single

Posted in Bangin by nick | Tags: , , , , , ,

Robotic Pirate Monkey, aka RPM, has been continuing to make some serious moves. And now get another part, following up Rio de Fuego off of their debut album Colors in Disguise coming out November 28th. Their recent well done music video for Party Animal went off huge with over 30,000 plays so far. Well today we get the download and full version of Party Animal. Now this song honestly sounds like nothing I’ve ever heard. It fit the music video so well, and works in a unique way without it. It’s a cinematic journey filled with some animal noises, a bunch of unique synths, some guitar, and bunch of other noises. It’s completely it’s own sound, and it’s cool to see where this RPM sound goes. Turn up the bass for this cinematic journey, enjoy!

Robotic Pirate Monkey – Party Animal : Official Music Video with Twisted College Girls

Posted in Bangin, Video by nick | Tags: , , , , , ,

Robotic Pirate Monkey, the trio from Boulder who’s brought you 3 free releases throughout the past year are back with their first music video pair with a track off their upcoming album Colors In Disguise coming out November 28th. We got to hear the first single ‘Rio De Fuego’ and it was a very sick step in a new direction for RPM. Well this track is no different, it sounds nothing like any RPM I’ve ever heard. It’s incredibly wild, filled with animal noises, a little been eerie, and pumped with bass. The music video is incredibly well done. It’s done by the prominent ski company Stept Productions, so you know it’s gonna be legit. It follows a group of college girls on their way up to the mountains, to party, drink, and then a dark twist at the end. It’s perfect for Halloween coming up. Download is coming out some time next week. Watch this full screen and enjoy!

Eiffel 65 – Blue (Da Ba Dee) (Robotic Pirate Monkey Remix) : New Dubstep / Dance Remix with Music Video

Yes you ready that correctly, a remix of Eiffel 65′s ‘Blue (Da Be Dee)’. It’s done by Robotic Pirate Monkey aka RPM, and they made this nostaglic bass filled ride a great one. Glad that it was edited with the original music video, which is just as awesome as the song. This track has a club friendly house feel, with some dubstep drops making it please both worlds. It’s cool to hear an old memorable track with such a modern twist. Just the video is out now. Turn it up, enjoy!
