Robotic Pirate Monkey aka RPM have been hard at work producing potentially there best project to date, the heat.wave EP. We’ve been a big supporter of the Boulder trio since there early Disturbing Pleasant Streets, and then after an album, an ep, and a handful of other tracks they dropped the incredible Colors In Disguise free album last December. Continuing on there path of creating a funky fresh sound of that’s truly there own we get ‘Banana Cannon’ which is the first single off their upcoming heat.wav EP coming out August 15th. It’s filled with some of the cleanest most brutal thumping bass drops with a fresh funky completely unique vibe in the mix. I can’t wait to hear the rest of the EP if it’s anything like this. Find some massive speakers with a good amount of mass and blast the BANANA CANNON. Enjoy!

Well here’s the second remix of the track that’s becoming quite popular ‘Somebody I Used To Know’ by Gotye. We already featured the Avicii styled house remix by Jakob Liedholm here, and now we get Robotic Pirate Monkey’s version. It’s got a funky electro vibe to it. It just might be their name, but almost everyone one of their songs sounds like the pefect soundtrack for a massive jungle concert, maybe it’s just me. This, like all there music has a very unique vibe to it. It changes up heavily throughout, and really can’t be held to one genre, other than Bass Music. Turn it up, enjoy!

It’s always cool hearing artists drop a variety of kinds of music. RPM’s last album Colors in Disguise went a little on the bass heavy side, and this track is a more laid back sample based track. This one “Last Night” Ft. fellow Colorado producer Rodway, is a new track given away for free by both artists. The guitars and vocals, chopped up in melodic way work very well. Turn it up, enjoy!

Robotic Pirate Monkey – Colors In Disguise (Official Release) : Must Hear New Electronic / Dubstep / Bass Music AlbumPosted in Bangin by nick | Tags: Album, BANGER, Bass Music, Dance, Dubstep, Electro, Electronic, Filthy, Glitch, Robotic Pirate Monkey
Today I’ve got an an amazing album that should be for sale, but is given away for free. These guys give their music away in hopes that you’ll see them live in concert, which is definitely a necessary part to really experience the music. It’s the latest album Colors In Disguise from Robotic Pirate Monkey aka RPM. We featured Hellevator, Party Animal, and Rio De Fuego off the album. Once the told me they were going to be making an original complete album, as opposed to something remix based. I loved their old stuff but knew they could deliver a more complete musical product; well that’s exactly what this album is. Its ranges from the chiller laid back tracks to some very hard hitting bass filled anthems. It sounds like nothing I have ever heard, really blending a ton of genres throughout. The entire thing is great from start to finish. Find some good speakers or headphones, sit back, enjoy! Enjoy!
