Austin, Texas producer Run DMT is best known for shaking things up within the bass spectrum having produced some wobbly originals and remixes over the years. The follow up to his self titled EP released last year is a sensually charged bassgasm of a remix to singer / songwriter Miguels's recent R&B hit "Simplethings". Taking inspiration from the chill melody, Run DMT electrifies the guitar sample further while accompanying the lyrics with the perfect amount of trap and bass aesthetics, bringing a bit of danceability to the original. We hope you take advantage of the free download after streaming this exclusive premiere below. Enjoy

TSIS has been a steady follower and supporter of Run DMT‘s music over the past two years. From when we first premiered his single “Bass Drum”, to his recent remixes including Major Lazer “Jah No Partial” remix and Dimitri Vegas & Lil Jon’s “Madness”. His musical diversity has always shined thru, yet gets displayed on new levels with Run DMT’s first original record since last summer’s “Union of Opposites”. Now we get the exclusive full stream of his new Self-Titled 8 track EP before it comes out on July 22nd.
Vocal collaboration tracks like the Drumstep meets Surf Rock “Ladies Night”, featuring Zeale, and the crunchy “Starlight”, featuring Betty Black highlight his ability to integrate structure and vocal melodies into a unique big room bass sound. The EP manages to find a perfect balance between the ethereal (“Ending Credits”) and the crushing (“The Pentagram”). Most impressive are the second and third tracks on the release, the Electro-House to Trap transition tune “The Getaway”, and absolutely huge Dutch House-gone-Trap “Shaman Juice”, which we premiered a few weeks back.
We’re happy to be hosting the record, letting all of you exclusively streaming in it’s entirety, below. The EP will be available everywhere on July 22nd on Run DMT’s own imprint, 4th Wall Records.

It’s always exciting to see what Bassnectar does when he remixes a track. His Ellie Goulding Lights remix will continue to be one of the best remixes ever. Today he decides to destroy one of the already bass heavy RUN DMT, the guys who brought Bass Drum. Well Bassnectar simply destroys the remix, filling it with loads of bass. Turn up the bass, enjoy!

Today I’m excited to give you an exclusive new track from a talented electronic music duo from Austin, Texas. These bass music producers have been carving their own path for the past few years. Well today I’ve got an exclusive christmas present from the group. The track is called ‘Bass Drum’, and it starts off with a cool mixture of drums and a catchy sample. It builds up, then hits you with a crunchy yet smooth bass drop. They really remind me of the Bassnectar sound, in a great way. Turn this track up, enjoy!
