The duo responisble for one of the most massive trap remixes last year, the “Mercy (RL Grime & Salva Remix)”, are back with another bangin track venturing into some unknown territory. RL Grime and Salva take on “What A Shame” by Jamie Lidell and maintain the smooth uplifting melodic qualities while laying down a fierce unique drop that does not let up and will be stuck in your heads for days. You could hear just about every DJ drop this at Miami Music Week / Ultra, it is now available on Warp Records through iTunes and Beatport. Turn this up, enjoy!

Salva – Odd Furniture EP : Trap / Hip-Hop EP

Posted in Bangin by nick | Tags: , , , , , , , , , ,

Salva just put out his latest release, a 5 song Odd Furniture EP through Friends of Friends. It consists of a versatile group of 808 fueled tracks with Trap,  Baltimore Club, Juke, Miami Bass and Hip-Hop influences. His knowledge and skill as a producer shines through immesnely as he makes fresh trap inspired tracks that contain some actual substance. “Hard Drive” is one of my favorite tracks dabbling a little with Juke, yet spun his own way. The EP features the previously featured bass thumping “Drop That B”. The EP ends with “BBQ”, an extra eerie late night banger. Find some proper speakers and give this a listen, and support Salva by purchasing this through his Bandcamp. Enjoy!

Salva – Drop That B : Massive Trap / Hip-Hop Original

Posted in Bangin by nick | Tags: , , , , , , ,

Time for a fresh original from the guy who helped make one of the biggest remixes of 2012, the trapped out version of Kanye West’s “Mercy” done by RL Grime and Salva. Salva will be releasing his upcoming Odd Furniture EP  on February 12th. “Drop That B” is the first powerful single giving us the proper taste of where his original sound is going.  Fierce sampling of hydraulics and the song’s ‘one liner’ start the track off strong, instantly luring you in. Then before you know you are hit with mountains of bass rattling 808s. The sublte variations he uses between the sampling and bass dropping is incredibly effective throughout the rest of the song building more anticipation until the end where you find yourself hitting replay instantly.
