Cherub, a fan favorite amongst TSIS followers, recently embarked on a vigorous tour across the US & Europe performing music off their “100 Bottles EP” in front of the masses. Today, the duo hailing from Nashville, TN release a music video featuring a brand new song titled “Heartbreaker”, which was filmed on location during their performances at Lollapalooza and North Coast Music Festival in Chicago this past summer. Could this be the catchiest set of lyrics accompanied by electric guitars and synths you hear today? We’re going to go ahead and say yes! Big shout out goes to Mixed Media for shooting and editing yet another well done video. We look forward to hearing more new music from Cherub soon. Enjoy!

Prepare to have your ear drums tingled with some future spacey purple sounds thanks to Mimosa‘s latest remix. He takes on Detroit based singer JMSN and his smooth track “Girl (I Used To Know)”. He takes the seductive R&B vocals and blends them full of purple trill swag infused with a futuristic Tron vibe. This track’s been on repeat. A change of pace from some of his past heavier remixes. Enjoy!

Doses and Mimosas? Champagne and Cocaine? Cherub drops a fresh music video to accompany their track “Doses and Mimosas” off their free Mom & Dad album. They chose New York city as the setting for one of the best tracks off the album. The video really sets the scene with a fun and trippy vibe. As they say “shot in NY… on a Monday night…things got weird”. I can’t seem to stop playing this video. Enjoy a perfect way to start winding down summer!

Sexytime – Lost In Translation : Sexy Bass Music / Glitch from Mimosa & Sleepyhead [TSIS EXCLUSIVE]

Posted in Bangin by nick | Tags: , , , , , ,

Today I’m excited to bring you a very sexy song. It’s a new track from a collaboration project called Sexytime featuring producer / DJs Mimosa and Sleepyhead. This is far from Mimosa’s hard hitting dubstep, but a venture into the sexy more melodic side. It sounds like a funny word, but after listening, you’ll get it. It’s got very deep smooth bass sounds, not meant to be listened to on laptop speakers..  This is the first track off their upcoming Naked Poetry EP that we are premiering here on 4/20. It’s got a different flavor then most of the stuff up here, try it out, turn up the bass, get sexy, enjoy!

Cherub – Mom and Dad (Album) : Must Hear Full Indie / Electronic Album

Posted in Bangin by nick | Tags: , , , , , ,

Today I’ve got another full glass of electronic infused, funky, sexy music following up their Man of the Hour EP. It’s the debut full album from Nashville duo Cherub. They are one of the groups still using those crazy things called instruments, and singing? Whoa. They do a great job at creating live music fused with electronic elements. They are basically a sexier MGMT, no homo. Just listen and you’ll understand what I mean. Girls go crazy over these guys. do your self a favor and hop on the Cherub train before you look like a bandwagon fan in a few months.

Some of my favorite tracks included Hold Me (Featuring Dominic Lalli of Big Gigantic), Dear Body, La Casa Del Obispo, Monogamy, and Doses and Mimosas. Check out those tracks in particular, on top of grabbing the entire album. Enjoy!
