Hot off releasing their debut album Settle the UK duo Disclosure pairs up with “Latch” singer Sam Smith again for an impressive cover of the British radio hit “Need U 100%” from Duke Dumont. They beef up the drums while still managing to maintain the overall feeling of the original. These guys are on a mission to restore the classic house sound, and are succeeding in doing so. Enjoy.

The Weeknd follows up his debut tri-mitape album release Trilogy with the first 2 songs off his upcoming album Kiss Land in a 7 minute back to back clip. “Kiss Land” with the same name as the album follows his expected graphic female focused lyrics we saw on his previous releases. While “John Carptner” we get a change of pace from Abel as he talks about his drug habits and the transition from never leaving home and then seeing the world. Both track follow his dark signature style. More details on the album as they come in. Enjoy

Deadmau5 continues his pattern of dropping “in progress” songs with the preview of “Satellite”. This track is insanely smooth and packs quite the punch of emotion with accompaniment of vocals from Deadmau5′s girlfriend, the famed tattoo artist, Kat Von D. The song has so many layers, both organic and electronic all coming together for a very impactful production. There is an abrupt transition at 1:18, which sounds like the Mau5 is taking a minimalistic trap inspired approach.. but I have a feeling the song is simply unfinished. As the Mau5 says “heres the intro + 1st verse for you. :)” Kat’s vocals with the production work so well. This is set to come out on Kat Von D’s upcoming debut album.

Alvin Risk teams up with Designer Drugs for a extra fierce dubstep anthem “Empty Hearted”. It captures both artists, with Alvin really standing out. Minnesota just dropped off a free chill change of pace, the 2 song Eternal Frequencies – Equinox EP . The first song “Bloom” is a slow paced incredibly melodic dubstep anthem featuring some live instruments in a unique fashion. The second track “Stardst Redux” is space theme adventure fueled by a catchy acoustic guitar plucked melody. This new sound is so much more dynamic and layered then his previous work, and a step in an exciting direction. Glad he decided to give these out for free as well. Find somewhere to play these loud. Enjoy!

Jeremih – F*ck U All The Time (Shlohmo Remix) : Smooth Chilled Out Trap / Downtempo Remix [Free Download]Posted in Bangin, Chill by nick | Tags: Beat Music, Chill, Downtempo, Free Download, Jeremih, R&B, Remix, Shlohmo, Smooth, Trap, Trap Music
Today I have a track from a few months back that got lost in the shuffle. We have the incredible chilled out remix from Shlohmo of “Fuck U All The Time” by Jeremih. The vocal sampling and drums are unreal, completely flipping the song into it’s own track. It has a certain downtempo beat music flavor with a hint of some trap inspired percussion that hits just right.
We are happy to report that this remix has led to Shlohmo and Jeremih now working together on an original collaborative project together. This is sure to be some incredible music that we can’t wait for.
Also don’t miss the previously posted chilled out remix of Shlohmo’s “The Way U Do” done by RL Grime
