The idea of using an alias for producers has grown exponentially thanks to artists like ZHU and Marshmello. Today we are happy to introduce the brand new London act Soultech, who is not revealing his identity quite yet. It's an artist that has been working behind the scenes for some time, and is now breaking out under his own.
We are happy to premiere his debut single "Collide", which is set to release on Spinnin Deep. The song takes you to a sun soaked paradise; with bassy underground twist full of punchy drums, thumping basslines, smooth melodies and fresh vocasls to tie it all together. The mysterious producer KSHMR has certainly been having quite the year so far, with both his "Clouds" collaboration with Dillon Francis and "Secrets" with Tiesto hitting the mark. Well, now he returns with his new solo single "JAMMU", which has the producer delivering his most melodic work yet. Netherlands based producer Oliver Heldens continues his global rise to the top with his signature melody driven anthems. Following up recent tracks like his collab with Zeds Dead on "You Know" or with Sander van Doorn on "This" among others, today we get his latest. It is a solo original going by "Bunnydance" which is one of his catchiest tracks yet. He brings out more melodies than normal while still keeping his defining future house sound intact. Martin Solveig and GTA's single "Intoxicated" might be one of the hottest dance records to be released in 2015 so far. It was only a matter of time before the remixes began rolling out and today we have an unexpected one from Canadian duo Zeds Dead. They follow in the same vein as their future bass flip of Jack Ü's "Take Ü There" by venturing into the chill side of things. We are left with an exciting melody driven, vibe filled journey. Dutch producer / DJ legend and now Doorn Records head Sander van Doorn have linked up LA transplant duo DVBBS (the guys responsible for the international hit "Tsunami", "Raveology" among others) and rising young Dutch superstar Martin Garrix have joined forces to create a collaborative new song "Sundown". Although it's still early, it feels like it could be one of biggest summer festival anthems this year.
The song has just recently surfaced from Martin playing it out live this past week (see video below) and was mislabeled about it being a collaboration between solely Martin Garrix and Sander van Doorn, but we were in LA in the studio with DVBBS late last year where they were actually playing us some early stages of production of this exact song that they were sending back and forth with Sander and Martin as a mssive collaboration. They couldn't be more thrilled to have been able to work with one of their influences, Sander on a track, and furthermore the song is the first ever of theirs to feature Alex of DVBBS's vocals.
The song musically blends their inducing style along with a newer melody driven progressive house side for an unbeatable combination ready to shut down festivals in a whole new way across the globe.
All we have for now is this rip from Sander's radio show, but will keep you posted as more details on this massive track that will guaranteed to be coming out through Spinnin Records in the new few months.
