Axwell & Sebastian Ingrosso’s new project ‘Departures’ Residency at Ushuaia Ibiza sets Dates, Tickets, Full Schedule of Friends

Well we recently announced that soon after the sad news of Swedish House Mafia breaking up, and the uplifting news of Axwell and Sebastion Ingrosso forming a new project Departures. Although the project is without Steve Angello, it is set to be just as amazing. Now we have the full details on their exclusive residency at the incredible club Ushuaïa Ibiza Beach Hotel. They have signed on for a residency for the length of the summer. Soon after the breakup of Swedish House Mafia, 2/3 of the group have already announced their new project. Sebastian Ingrosso and Axwell have teamed up to create Departures which will get launched in Ibizia at Ushuaïa Beach Club on June 12th as well as kick off their summer long residency. Excited to see what the new sound will be like considering they won’t have any Swedish House Mafia restraints and can play with far more freedom. They are easily one of the biggest acts to hold a residency in Ibiza this summer and also have residencies at the incredible Light Nightclub curated by Cirque Dwith all the other acts signing exclusive residencies in Las Vegas. We will keep you posted on more new as it comes in. Honestly.. is anyone really surprised?

Sebastian Ingrosso & Tommy Trash – Reload (Ft. John Martin) : Progressive House Anthem from Swedish House Mafia Member

One third of the newly departed Swedish House Mafia Steve Angello just let loose the premiere of the full stream for his latest solo record, “Reload”. He collaborated with Tommy Trash to create a beastly progressive house anthem featuring some vocals from John Martin,  the singer who was on Swedish House Mafia’s “Don’t You Worry Child”. The song blends beautiful melody and raw aggression so well, instantly letting you escape into the roller coaster of a track. We will keep you posted on release details for this massive anthem. The Swedish trio Swedish House Mafia have announced their retirment as a group, and are currently in the process of One Last Tour, their final concert dates as the supergroup. Swedish House Mafia have been starting their sets on their final tour by dropping “We Came, We Rave, We Love” from Axwell & Sebastian Ingrosso. It is a powerful progressive house anthem that reminds me of Greyhoud. Turn this up, enjoy.

Ultra Music Festival 2013 Announces Official Phase 1 Lineup

After much hype and speculation, and fake images getting passed around, we get the official Phase 1 Lineup for Ultra Music Festival 2013. This is the festivals 15th year and the promise to be the biggest festival ever. The first phase of the lineup is very MASSIVE and features electonic acts from all over the spectrum, from house and trance to bass music side of things, also the live acts and everyone in between. Deadmau5 despite past conflicts with Ultra has agreed to be one of the headliners of the massive Miami party. Another huge notable performance is from Swedish House Mafia as this marks 2 of their last performances ever… until the have an even bigger reunion tour in 2 years.. haha. Tickets are on sale still for the event, grab them before it sells out like the past 3 years.

Swedish House Mafia – Until Now (Compilation Album) + Continuous DJ Mix : Full Final Album Release

Swedish House Mafia announced their separation as a trio a few months back, along with a final string of concert dates across the world: One Last Tour. Well they also announced the release of a 13 song compilation album called Until Now. It features some of their biggest tracks they would play live. Including the ones they made together, and some of the biggest anthems released on all three of their labels, and a few crowd favorite remixes. It’s an amazing album really highlighting their career. Glowfest University of Denver Ft. Sebastian Ingrosso, Kap Slap, Hujje : Announcement + Free Music from Otto Knows, Kap Slap, Hujje

Excited to announce another amazing event for everyone who can’t get enough House music. We teamed up with Glowfest to help bring Sebastian Ingrosso from Swedish House Mafia to Denver. This event is on University of Denver’s campus, but is open to the public. The first opener is Otto Knows from Sebastian’s Refune label who’s made the recent anthem “Million Voices”, listen below if you haven’t the hit. Second up is party mashup / bootleg king Kap Slap, making his first Colorado appearance. Also the Colorado based progressive house duo Hujje, whom we’ve featured up here a few times. Check out some free exclusive tracks from all of the artists below. This is going to be a HUGE night filled with more then enough dance music. Well today I’m pleased to present you a new remix of the track that might be even more massive. It’s from Stratus, the Chicago up and comer that dropped the Drake – She Will Remix. Basic Physics – Lift Off : Full Length Electro / Party / Dubstep Mashup Album

Now the concept of a mashup is taking the vocals from one track and the instrumental or beat from another and arranging it so it sounds like a new track. Now we get our fair share of not so great mashups in our submissions, so it’s very refreshing hearing some polished club ready mashups. This lastest album Lift Off from Wisconsin based Basic Physics combines a variety of electro, dubstep, and big progressive house tracks blended with some popular vocals. It reminds me of 3LAU’s Dance Floor Filth, with mainstream theme and the how well done it is. I’ve included a few of my favorite tracks, but if you dig the sound, you’ll love the whole thing.
