[PREMIERE] The Knocks & Matthew Koma – I Wish (My Taylor Swift) (Louis The Child Remix)

Posted in Bangin, Chill, Mixtapes / Albums by Aaron Rogers | Tags: , , , , ,

NY duo The Knocks gave us the incredible "I Wish (My Taylor)" alongside Matthew Koma ahead of their upcoming album 55 back in September. Now as the release of 55 looms overhead, none other than teenage duo Louis The Child steps up to the plate and knocks their take on the song out of the park.

Replacing the original indie feels with a funky soundscape adorned with skillfully placed off-beat melodies and their signature synth work we've come to love, Louis The Child manages to keep the core themes of the song flourishing while putting their own tasty electronic flavors into the mix.

Stream the remix below and stay on the lookout as 55 is set to arrive March 4th via Big Beat/Neon Gold. Enjoy

This audible joyride lures you in with a cinematic build that highlights Alex Newell's powerful vocals before unveiling two beautiful drops that are guaranteed to get you on your feet and dancing. The Knocks – Classic (Ft. Fetty Wap & Powers) : Chill Summer House / Hip-Hop

The Knocks Fetty Wap Classic

In an unexpected collaboration, The Knocks have teamed up with Powers and Fetty Wap, the man behind “Trap Queen,” which you all have inevitably gotten stuck in your head at some point or another. Fetty kicks off “Classic" with a rapping/singing verse showing off his knack for writing some of the catchiest hip hop out there right now. The Knocks bring a chill house meets nu-disco vibe with funky guitar riffs and bouncing melodic synths that set a perfect foundation for a Fetty verse and Power’s vocals to shine throughout. Enjoy!
