The Knocks are a group that I’ve been continuing to see more and more remixes of. Their poppy indie sound is perfect forgetting reworked into dubstep and house BANGERS. Well now we get a Avicii styled house anthem of their track ‘The Prize’. This remix is done by newcomer Jakob Liedholm.Liedholm is a very young 15 year old swedish house producer that is extremely talented. Being that young, and having a sound as good as this, should lead to a very bright future (Watch out Avicii). The piano, vocals, melodies, and bass all work together so well to create a great house anthem. They through me the instrumental as well, so DJ’s and producers have fun with it. Enjoy!

Today I’m excited to bring you a great remix to The Knocks most recent happy electronic dance single ’The Brightside‘. We posted the Jaybird Dubstep Remix a little while ago, and I think that this remix is good contrast to the heavy Jaybird remix. This mysterious German producer now based in L.A. creates an awesome Electro House remix with a hard but funky bass line that reminds me of Zedd. The song continues evolving adding a more poppy Madeon twist to it giving it a sound like I’ve never heard. I’m excited to see what else this talented producer comes out with in the next few months. Turn it up, enjoy!

The Knocks – Brightside (Jaybrid Dubstep Remix) (Official Release): Amazing New Dubstep / Indie RemixPosted in Bangin by nick | Tags: BANGER, Dance, Dubstep, Electronic, indie, Jaybird, Nu Disco, Remix, The Knocks
So we just posted up The Knocks’ latest single ‘Brightside’, and the poppy dance anthem wasn’t quite hard enough for some of you, well today I’ve got Jaybird’s filthy dubstep remix to the track. Right from the beginging you know the track has been remixed in a serious way. The catchy vocals from the original really mesh very well with the chaotic whomping bass that comes in when it drops. At first I was almost a little thrown off by the contrast, but after I second time through I was in love with the track. This is classic dubstep remix of very catchy indie track. Turn it up, enjoy!

The Knocks really have carve their way with another Nu-Disco anthem. They take the best parts of the 80′s and then pump it full of modern electronic goodness to really create their own sound. It’s got such a feel good vibe that’s sure to get a dance party of it’s own started, on top of leaving you singing along by the end. They’ve really created a great Nu-Disco anthem. We’re excited to bring you the exclusive download of this track, which is released on iTunes in an EP here. Turn it up, enjoy!

2011, in the house world has been the summer of Avicii, with song ‘levels‘ being one of the most buzzed songs of the year. His set at Red Rocks during ‘Global Dance Festival‘ was one of the most epic sets of the summer for me. Since his official release of ‘Levels’ a few days ago the song has been getting a whole new run in the spotlight. Captain Cuts turns the massive single into a great party Mashup that uses playful acapellas by The Knocks. The Knocks are a very talented live Electronic duo out of New York City. I thought that along with having a great name, Captain Cuts Mashup is really on point. The Mashup flows nicely and is sure to keep any party going. Enjoy!
The knocks are the high energy dance / pop duo from New York that’s been really killing lately, not to mention their recent rooftop Corona commercial you may have seen on TV. Well today I’ve got a one of their biggest singles ‘Dancing With the DJ’, and also a bass filled dubstep remix of the track done by Mathew Sterling. Check out the original and remix and see which one is more dance friendly. Turn up the bass, enjoy!

Chiddy Bang, the duo who brought you The Swelly Express, Opposite Of Adults and more, are back with their second mixtape Peanut Butter and Swelly. It’s a a real sick mixtape with a good bunch of chill hip hop tracks with samples from indie groups Matt and Kim and more. I’ve posted Heatwave ft. Mac Miller, Baby Roullete, and When You’ve Got Music ft The Knocks, which were all sick. Xaphoon Jones kills it on production, and Chiddy delivers some solid flow all the way through. This tape is perfect for chilling and welcoming in summer. I’ve picked a few of my tracks, but as with all the mixtapes I post, I recommend downloading the whole thing and giving it a good listen. Enjoy!

Chiddy Bang is making quite the name for themselves, (and playing the CU Welcomefest concert), and the producer behind the magic Xaphoon Jones makes almost as many songs solo as he does as he does with Chiddy. Today I’ve got a siiick remix of The Knocks songs ‘Blackout’. It’s got some real chill vocals that grow on you pretty fast, and then the dubstep influenced bass drops throughout are sooo sick and go perfect with the dubstep. You guys loved the dubstep remix he did of Big Sean, so i’m sure most of you guys will love this one. It’s more mild, and not really fully dubstep, just a dubstep sounding bassline. It’s not new at all, but Xaphoon doesn’t get enough credit for his producing work. Enough talking, bump this song, give it a full listen before judging, enjoy!
