Skrillex – Leaving EP : Free 3 Song EP Released on The Nest

Skrillex recently announced his new subscription service The Nest which we launched with giveaway. The subscription service promised early releases from OWSLA artists and didn’t give details of the first release. What better then a brand new original 3 song EP from label head Skrillex. It is titled the Leaving EP, and packs 3 brand new orginals. The track “Scary Bolly Dub” is a more typical Skrillex track with massive basslines and funky melodies. The other two came together more last minute and as he said  ”I made ‘Leaving’ in my hotel room in Mexico and just finished ‘The Reason’ an hour ago in my hotel room in Miami. I guess it’s just kind of a reflection of how I’m feeling right now.” The 2 tracks remind me of some traits of UK bass muscians.
