TheFatRat – Splinter [Spinnin Records] [TSIS PREMIERE]

TheFatRat is an incredible producer and has made countless huge remixes, and even produced a track for Lupe Fiasco. He typically sticks to the funky electro house, yet went out of the box for his debut original release on the worldwide known Spinnin’ Records with a brutal dubstep banger. We got a preview alongside his January Monthly Mix. “Splinter” packs an incredibly suspensful buildup leading to a suprisingly heavy drop that sounds like nothing I have ever heard. The whole track has a certain cinematic quality perfectly suited to be the soundtrack for an ending fight scene from a movie. Make sure you have some speakers with enough bass to handle this track. You can now pick this up through Beatport.

Pacific Air – Float (TheFatRat Remix) : Indie / Electro Remix [TSIS PREMIERE]

TheFatRat drops us off a fresh new cut of an indie song “Float” by Pacific Air, the group formerly known as KO KO. We heard an unofficial bootleg of this track by Sound Remedy. TheFatRat lets the smooth vocals shine through while adding addes a heavy amount of bass but doesn’t get as filthy as some of his other work. The incredible German born and LA living producer / DJ TheFatRat.. the guy who has released some incredible remixes, mixes, and even a track on Lupe Fiasco’s recent album this year is back with his latest installment of TheRatNest, October 2012 edition. It’s just under 45 minutes of electro house gold. Today I’ve got 2 massive remixes from of a huge electronic track “Turn The World On” by Static Revenger Ft. Dev. The original has a nice dance vibe complete with Daft Punk sounding robot vocals. The first remix here is our premiere of the TheFatRat Dub Remix.. which is a bass heavy electro house anthem with all of Dev’s vocals removed, leaving just the robot voices and TheFatRat’s signature nasty basslines, making a perfect track for DJ’s. It is for sale through Beatport, on top of our download. Next up is a filthy dubstep remix from Protohype and Kezwik, we’ve featured the bass heavy Protohype quite a few times on the site, always dropping gold. For their remix they left in the vocals from Dev, getting annihilated by the massive bass. Fair warning, this one is not for the feint of heart. We have a hard hitting new track featuring some vocals that never get old. It’s from TheFatRat, the mysterious electronic producer blending disco and some fierce electro house for a great combination For this one he features the vocals from Daft Punk’s “Harder, Faster, Stronger”, and it works great with filthy drops from the TheFatRat’s song ‘”Do Be Do Be Do”. Today I’m excited to bring you a sick new monthly event “The Skinny Dip”. It’s a fresh new summer event that we’ve been working on with Souls In Action Entertainment to bring you. We are bringing in new names from all over that could do there own shows, and putting them under the same roof for a rowdy night form start to finish. The first month is going to be in Denver, and we’ve got an all star cast cast to launch it. The theme is bringing in the freshest new names to new locations. This one features a bunch of names brand new to CO and it’s one of the artists second US performance ever. We’ve got LazerDisk Party Sex, Coyote Kisses, TheFatRat, Religion, and Viceroy. It’s going to be a 18+ event. This event is going to be one for the books.

I know, I almost didn’t even want to listen to another Levels remix, but the person giving me this track was persistent, and I’m glad. I’ve got an amazing new elctro house / disco remix of one of the most popular songs from the past year “Levels” by Avicii. It’s hard to follow up the Skrillex’s massive remix, but this one packs a crunchy electro punch with a fun disco vibe. It’s blend of electro houes and disco reminds me of TheFatRat’s last remix.
