TNGHT Reunion Teased Thanks To LuckyMe (Preview)

At the end of 2013 the shocking split between Hudson Mohawke and Lunice aka the powerhouse producer duo TNGHT was announced via a shocking video and dissapointed fans all over the world. Both artists have broke out since then as solo artists further with Hudson Mohawke releasing his studio album "Lantern" and Lunice releasing his "One Hunned" EP.

Well just earlier today, the record label LuckyMe just shared a very exciting video of a screen showing a playlist of tracks with "TNGHT" next to them and with what we are led to believe a new TNGHT song in the background.

Is this their way of teasing a forthcoming TNGHT release and the ultimate reunion of the two producers? It sure looks that way, and we definitely hope so. We'll keep you posted as more rolls in. Enjoy.

Brooklyn based producer duo Brasstracks has been bringing their trumpeting skills to a multitude of covers and remixes including a collaboration with Lido. Now they've taken on supergroup TNGHT’s hit “Higher Ground” as a remix, which works perfectly as the original heavily used horns. They tweaked the beat, added some melodic keys, and was spot on replicating TNGHT’s wonky horns while changing it up to make the track their own. Enjoy!

Hudson Mohawke Brings Out TNGHT Influence In Latest Track “Scud Books”

The anticipation for Hudson Mowhawke’s sophomore album Lantern builds a little bit further with the release of his newest single "Scud Books" which is an instrumental track that is accompanied by a video. The music video is very unique like HudMo panning between slow motion explosions of Orchids blossoming and him turning up at live shows for an interesting combination to say the least. “Scud Books” feels like the first all out party starter of the album in the vein of his past supergroup TNGHT.

With the first singles "Ryderz" and "Very First Breath" followed up by this we cam only expect one of the top albums of 2015. Lantern is set to drop June 16th, you can pre-order it here.

RL Grime

Fresh off his latest albumVoid, RL Grime keeps the new music coming in preparation for getting back on the road for his Void Tour. He takes on the trend-setting trap anthem “Acrylics” from TNGHT and gives it his signature flip. Leaving the track largely intact including the infectious synth RL beefs up the rest of the track with tons of added percussion elements leaving us with a nice refresh to a classic. RL Grime is passing this out as a free download thanks to his upcoming Void Tour which you can see all the remaining dates below. Enjoy!
