The atmosphere in Chicago this past weekend made for a memorable three days as the entire Thissongissick.com team and our one of a kind interactive tent assembled on the grounds of Soldier Field for the 3rd annual Spring Awakening Music Festival. We provided festival goers the opportunity to attend our biggest Meet and Greet yet as the likes of Feed Me, DJ Snake, 3LAU, A-Trak, Tommy Trash, Paper Diamond, DVBBS, Big Gigantic, and Borgore took time to stop by our tent to take pictures and sign autographs with fans. The experience itself was very humbling as we were able to interact with our readers on a personal level while extending the experieince to them of meeting some of their favorite artistis / DJs. We have uploaded all the photos from the meet & greets to our Facebook Page with links to them all below and you can tag yourself and friends in the post. Big thanks to React, all the tour managers for making the experience possible and Da Black Swan Photography for capturing all the moments and we look forward to being apart of the festival for years to come.
We have also included an album of some of our favorite shots captured of the weekend from some of the most high energy sets we've seen in quite some time. These aren't all the live shots, you can find all of them still getting rolled out through the TSIS Instagram here.

We are excited to have partnered up with Spring Awakening Music Festival taking place in Chicago for the third year. Last year we launched our new interactive TSIS booth within the grounds of Soldier Field where you can actually meet and take a picture with some of your favorite artists. It had such a great response, we had to bring it back!
This year we have one of our best cast of artists participating yet, with 10 different producers / DJs involved. You can see all the times below.
All you have to do is show up before the time announced for that particular artist and you can meet them. We also have a professional photographer there ready to capture the memories and will be posting the pictures in a dedicated page full of albums and on our Facebook Page after the festival. Make sure you show up early as some of the bigger artists tend to have long lines and they can only be there for a limited amount of time!
Here are the meet & greet times and the artists that are involved this year below.
The Thissongissick booth (where the meet and greets will be hosted) is located next to the Equinox stage. Festival map after the jump

A-Trak and Tommy Trash‘s recent summer spirited house single “Tuna Melt” just got a proper music video. They went all out paying a tribute to Rude Goldberg creating a full on contrpation all throughout a house filled with some A-Trak, Tommy Trash and Fools Gold cameos. This is one of the videos that you drop everything and focus in out of straight amazement. I can’t imagine how many takes this must have taken. One third of the newly departed Swedish House Mafia Steve Angello just let loose the premiere of the full stream for his latest solo record, “Reload”. He collaborated with Tommy Trash to create a beastly progressive house anthem featuring some vocals from John Martin, the singer who was on Swedish House Mafia’s “Don’t You Worry Child”. The song blends beautiful melody and raw aggression so well, instantly letting you escape into the roller coaster of a track. We will keep you posted on release details for this massive anthem. Enjoy!

Rising electronic artist Grandtheft has proven from his Diplo collaboration on the offical remix of “Sweet Nothing ” by Calvin Harris & Florence Welch that making trap anthems was something he was very capable of. He did the same treatment on “Tuna Melt” from A-Trak & Tommy Trash leaving us with a jaw dropping brutal trap banger. You will be chanting along by the end of the song “Damn Son Where’d You Find This Sandwich?”. This was released in celebration of A-Trak breaking 300k followers on Twitter last Friday.. a huge accomplishment for one of the most talented DJs in the world. Tommy Trash is an incredible electronic producer who has not had nearly the amount of attention he has earned on Thissongissick. Tommy is originally from Australia and has been residing in Los Angeles. He just released his latest diverse original anthem “Truffle Pig”, marking his first release on Fool’s Gold Records (A-Trak’s Record Label). Tommy creates a dark yet danceable progressive anthem with some crunchy electro kicks reminding me of some gritty Deadmau5 with his own twist creating a track that is just waiting to shut down a festival. Listen to the exclusive stream of the song below, and purchase through Beatport now. Enjoy!
