TOUR-ADMAT---FIGURE---TERROR-VISION-v1.0-18x24_300DPI

Bass enthusiast and lover of all things hard as shit, Figure has announced a very special run of fall shows being dubbed "Terrorvision" kicking off October 17th. These run of shows will be unlike any peformance you've seen to date with Figure incorporating horror film footage to every single one of the songs in his sets. The partnership with Rane / Serato is certainly something you don't want to miss as it will be a unique live visual experience, which is inspired from his Monsters themes. Look at the teaser of the tour below and read what Figure had to say about the upcoming string of shows. Tour dates for the entire run are listed below with some exclusive limited pre-sale tickets available for purchase today while supplies last. Also you can expect Figure's upcoming Monsters volume 5 dorpping on October 14th.

Here is a quote from Figure himself about his vision of the tour.

Terrorvision has been a concept I've been putting together for some time now, something I thought would go really well with my annual Monsters series.

I wanted to create the ability to compile tons of custom edited clips the same way I have compiled tons of music for my sets over the years. I'm a horror buff and I've amassed an extensive collection of classic shock theatre and obscure films which is definitely an inspiration for the visual direction on this tour.

Through partnering with Rane/Serato and using their hardware I now have the ability to map these custom visuals to my music on the fly, adding a brand new element to my live show.  Many artists look at visuals as a way to simply customize the blank slates of wall behind them. With Terrorvision it's another dimension of my music. An intense visual backdrop giving my fans a window into where i draw inspiration; my vision as a producer, coming together on stage where the visuals brings it all to life.

The announcement comes with a look back at Flosstradamus's previous IRL Tour via a behind-the-scenes video showcasing candid interviews with the duo and their fans along with tour footage and features their recent chilled out single "Rebound". The main element that sets Flosstradamus apart from many acts is that they've created and fostered an actual community underneath the title HDYNATION, which brings HDYBYZ and HDYGRLZ from all walks of life together to share music and attend live events while sporting the highly sought after merchandise that Curt and Josh have developed in an in-house, grassroots manner. Porter Robinson Announces Massive North American “Worlds Tour”

Posted in Bangin, News by nick | Tags: , , , ,

porter-robinson-worlds-tour-poster

Porter Robinson is one of the most exciting artists to come out of the seemingly stale side of big name dance music side in recent years and has captured the attention of many with the highly anticipated release of his second full length artist album Worlds. We've already seen two tracks unveiled as "Sea of Voices" and "Sad Machine" created an uproar of excitement internationally. The album is set to release through iconic North American dance imprint label Astralworks and will see Porter performing a series of shows in support of the album. The tour kicks off on August 28th in Vancouver  and will run all throughout the US and Canada ending in Miami on October 18th. He is bringing out the very talented Norwegian live electronic act Lemaitre, who will be opening up the night through the length of the tour. Although the dates are far later in the year, with his track record for live shows selling out and added excitement of the new album I wouldn't wait too long to grab tickets when they go on sale this Thursday at 10 am MST.
