Mac MIller drops new song “Watching Movies” from upcoming album

Posted in Chill, Events, News by nick | Tags: , , , ,

Mac Miller has been working hard on his second full length album Watching Movies With Sound Off set for a June 18th release. This song “Watching Movies” follows up “S.D.S.” yet maintains the new extra weird new direction Mac is going with his music. The production has a very eerie ominous flavor with Mac touching on some more real topics. This sounds completely different from anything he has ever done, and exciting to see him grow as an artist. This gets me even more excited for the upcoming album. Read below for the dates on his recently announced nationwide tour. Enjoy!

Daft Punk Tour 2013: Set to to Headline Coachella, 5 Europe Festival Dates, New Album

Posted in Bangin, Events by nick | Tags: , , , , , , ,

Songkick just unintentionally announced the long awaited news of Daft Punk playing headlining performances at Coachella 2013.

The legendary Daft Punk has become the most talked about and rumored electronic act in the entire world. The rocked the world with their iconic L.E.D. pyramid setup they took on their 2007 Alive World Tour. A few years later they got recruited to create the soundtrack  for the blockbuster film Tron: Legacy taking the group to even bigger heights. Their hype has only grown every day since, with countless electronic fans hoping to get the chance to see the duo.

Well it now seems that all the rumors and waiting have possibly come an end. The concert monitoring service Songkick just sent those who follow Daft Punk the notie below letting them know that they will be appearing this year at Coachella, alongside The Rolling Stones, Phoenix, and The Yeah Yeah Yeahs I might add. This might be the moment that we have all been waiting for.

At first I grew skeptical as this wasn’t from any Daft Punk source. But then they have also confirmed to be working on the new album with legendary Nile Rogers on a new album set to come out in 2013. These Coachella headline dates would align with the release of this new album early next year.

Another point leading us to believe the Coachella leak, is a just earlier this year their was a massive information leak from  world famous live muscian photographer Olver James L’eroe about DP playing the European festvial circuit (Danmark “Rosklide”, Spain “Primavera Sound”, Norway “Oyafestivalen” England “Glastonbury” and Sweden “Peace and Love”). The phographer has since gotten heat from the festival promoters, leading us to believe in it’s truth. Below is a Facebook conversation with the photagrpher Oliver leaking the European news.

With European festival speculations, Coachella near confirmation, new album in works, and their website even wen under construction earlier last month. All of these things add up to really let us believe that 2013 is finally the return of Daft Punk.. maybe they will throw in that World Tour we have been hearing about for so long. We will keep you update as we learn more details. And remember to follow our Twitter for the latest news. Enjoy!

Big Gigantic is back with a video recap providing proof of all the mayhem they wrecked at a huge amount of MASSIVE festivals this summer. The video is incredible and features a new track called “Let’s Go!” which has a nice melodic build, and balls to the wall drop. This video gives those who weren’t lucky enough to make it out to any of the shows a glimpse into how insane they really were. Big Gigantic is also announcing a 45 date+  Uprising Tourwhere they are playing all across the states. Supporting Big Gigantic will be GRiZ from October 3-November 4 with Adventure Club on select dates, Crizzly from November 5-17 and Ana Sia from November 21-December 1. Helping start off the tour is RowdyTown, Big G’s first appearance at the legendary Red Rocks Amphitheater. Hoodie Allen + G-Eazy Excellent Adventure Tour Dates + “Plastic Dreams” (feat. Johanna Fay) | Tour Dates + New Song

Posted in Chill, Events by nick | Tags: , , , , , , , ,

Hoodie Allen is about to hit the road again this time on tour with G-Eazy, two artists Thissongissick has supported since beginning. Both these talented rappers are about to hit the road on the Excellent Adventure Tour, hitting 18 cities with this excellent tour. Both of these rappers are great live, and together will be an unforgettable show every night. Tickets go on sale tomorrow, and with both rappers having a history of selling out shows, I’d suggest grabbing tickets sooner then later.

Tickets are available here

Also included is the latest track from G-East “Plastic Dreams” featuring Johanna Fay, which will be featured on G-Eazy’s album Must Be Nice, is a great mellow glass of his signature style of catchy hip-hop, this time going out of the typical 50′s themed track, and more of a modern indie flavor that works well. This is been on repeat. Turn it up, and don’t miss him at any of these dates on the tour with Hoodie. Enjoy!

Tayyib Ali – Dreaming : New Song + 25 Date Nationwide Tour with Logic

Posted in Chill, Events by nick | Tags: , , , , , , ,

Today we get some fresh new Tayyib Ali, one of the best tracks I’ve heard from Mr. Keystone State of Mind . It’s titled “Dreaming” with a very mellow chill sounding beat produced by 2Astronauts formerly The Astronauts (the producers who brought “Tomorrow” and “High Defintion”). I always get excited seeing a new Tayyib track, and this is no different. Enjoy, and see below for details on Tayyib’s 25 city U.S. Tour with Logic!

Tayyib is about to embark on tour across the U.S. hitting 25 cities starting July 7th with Visionary Music Group mate Logic. We’ve sponsored the majority of both these artists releases, and are some of the site’s favorites, so what could be better then seeing them both in concert?? Tickets are on sale and flying, don’t miss out on the show close to you. Grab tickets as I’d imagine most of these shows are bound to sell out!
