Ultra Music Festival 2014 Date & Early Bird and Regular Tickets Going On Sale

The legenedary electronic event Ultra Music Festival that takes place annually in Miami had an impressive 15th year this March expanding to 2 weekends, making it the biggest yet. For 2014 they are going to be doing one extra special weekend over the March 28th – 30th. Since last year there were over 300,000 people, and this year there will be around half, tickets will be selling out EXTREMELY FAST.

The first round of Early Bird Tickets will be going on sale May 21st at 1pm EST. These sold out in under 5 minutes last year, so get on your game. We will remind you all the days prior via our Twitter.

Krewella Ultra Music Festival 2013 Video Recap

Krewella had a career changing week at there first time at Ultra Music Festival in Miami back in March. Don’t miss their Ultra live set which get broadcasted online and led to them to trend worldwide on twitter. Well now we get the first part of their official recap of their Ultra experience. It shows them starting with their first set with cameos from Tiesto, Steve Aoki, and 12th Planet. Then they bust over to Orlando to shoot an ESPN commercial  then take a private plane back to Miami to play a huge late night party at Liv with Tiesto, Benny Bennassi, Hardwell and more. deadmau5 drops off 2 Unreleased Song Previews + Ultra Music Festival 2013 Live Set

Deadmau5 continued his regular routine of putting out unreleased previews of his upcoming tracks as he experiments with them. First off we get a 2 minute tease of “moog bass + modular” which is a smooth melodic track reminding me a little of his anthem Strobe. Then next up we hear a change of pace with “Assume Control” which hits us with a dutch house styled ending that Deadmau5 refers to as “jacked afro crap”, which he claims was unintentional. These both keep us on our toes for new Mau5.

Also included is his set from the Weekend 2 of Ultra Music Festival down in Miami a few months back. He played a suprising set spanning from some classic hits to some techy underground cuts. All in all it’s a great balanced mix that should have Mau5 fans in a frenzy. Check out the full track-list below. Enjoy!

Avicii – New Album Promo Mix 2013 : Including New Album Tracks

Avicii played main stage at this year’s Ultra Music Festival and through down a contreversial set debuting tracks off his new album. He collaborated with artists such as country star Mac Davis, bluegrass musician Dan Tyminski, singer Audra Mae, soul artist Aloe Blacc, Incubus guitarists Mike Einziger and Ben Kenney. His set got critsized for having too much of a country  and live influence. The live instrumentation may have been a little to overwhelming for the DJ mold seen at Ultra. The funniest part is that people hated on Avicii when he would played “Levels” non stop and other typical house tracks, and now hate on the guy for stepping outside of the box and bringing in live instrumentation to house music.

He just let loose “Promo Mix 2013″ featuring a lot of the tracks he debuted at his live set. The mix basically sounds the Avicii you know with some adiditonal live elements. It spans from progressive house to some gritty electro action. Loving what I have heard so far. Listen and let us know what you think? Enjoy!

Ultra Music Festival 2013 Official Farewell After Video : 330,000+ People at One of the Biggest Electronic Festivals in the World

Ultra Music Festival took place down in Miami for it’s 15th year this March, and expanded to 2 weekends, bringing in over 320,000 people, making it one of the largest electronic festivals in the world. They upped everything and had some of the most impressive stages at any festival in the country. The lineup consisted of almost every DJ you could imagine. Here is the official farewell video to send everyone off, and a tease of what’s to come in the Full After Movie. Bro Safari – Ultra Music Festival 2013 Live Set : Trap / Moombahton Set [Free Download]

Bro Safari just gave us the good graces to finally feature his massive live set from down in Miami at Ultra Music Festival. He was one of the artists to fully shut  down the first ever TRAPPED stage, for the first time in Ultra’s history as a festival. He made sure to fill the set with countless unreleased tracks from himself and friends. He laid down a great mixture of Trap, Moombahton, Electro, and even some Hardstyle. He mixed so flawlessly and with such speed, you never had a chance to catch your breathe going from song to song. This was easily one of the best sets I caught at the festival, and I am very stoked that Bro Safari passed off the free download and sent us over the correct track-listing below. Adventure Club – Ultra Music Festival Live Set 2013 : Dubstep / Trap Live Set [Free Download]

Adventure Club was amongst the countless amazing acts to throw down at this years Ultra Music Festival, and we now get to hear their epic set year round. They tore up The Dropzone stage and shut it down with their signature melodic dubstep and drumstep. They also managed to sneak some trap in the mix. They included all of their huge remixes that have helped catupult them to where they are. They were nice enough to toss out a download of the full set, minus the first 10 minutes which didn’t get recorded for some reason. Enjoy!

Anyone unaware of what a Steve Aoki live concert is like, have no fear and look above. He is not your typical DJ, he will stand behind the tables mixing about half the time, and spend the other half riding the crowd with a raft, slamming them with cakes, and untradtional DJ moves. He somehow has managed to make all of these things be what defines him and his live show. Knife Party were amongst the crew who helped wreck 100,000′s of electronic fans at Ultra Music Festival, and have been nice enough to let loose the full video stream of their second weekend performance, and official free download, not some poor quality rip. Krewella Ultra Music Festival 2013 Live Set : Huge Live Set ft. Unreleased Collaborations and Originals

Krewella had an extremely successful 2 weekends at this their first Ultra Music Festival / Miami Music Week 2013. They walked away with the International Dance Music Award for Best Breakthrough Act of 2012 (won by Hardwell last year). This past Saturday they had a MASSIVE set on the Dropzone stage which was streamed live worldwide on UMF TV, and resulted in Krewella becoming a worldwide trend on Twitter. You can now listen to this massive set below. They dropped countless unreleased tracks including their upcoming collaboration with Nicky Romero and Gareth Emery, on top of some unreleased originals. APRES : An Ultra After Party In Miami Featuring Mimosa, GRiZ, Michal Menert, Break Science, Coyote Kisses, Grandtheft, and 20 More presented by Pretty Lights Music, TSIS, Headtron

Miami music week is in full force and our party we teamed up with Pretty Lights Music, Headtron, and Embrace Presents to throw APRES, a mini festival of artists that we have featured throughout the site. The event is happening Saturday March 23rd at Mekka Nightclub taking place over 4 different rooms for an epicly chaotic night. Kaskade – Ultra Music Festival 2013 Live Set [Free Download]

Kaskade was another amazing DJ who threw down an incredible main stage performance at this year’s 15^th Anniversary Ultra Music Festival in Miami, Florida. He was nice enough to pass out the full live set from weekend 1. The set is packed full of his signature live only bootleg mashups featuring his own tracks smashed with other electronic anthems. He never lets you hear his tracks the way you would at home, and myself and all of his fans really love that. Second to closing out the set is his latest collaborative anthem with rising Canadian house producer Project 46, “Last Chance”.  It was a great set from start to finish. Pretty Lights – Ultra Music Festival 2013 Live Set

Pretty Lights has climbed his way to one of the top electronic acts in the country, yet has only in the past 2 years been playing massive EDC, Electric Zoo, and Ultra Music Festivals.  Well this past weekend he let loose his soulful beats on Miami knocking them down to their knees. He played an incredible mix of his older tracks and some of the new unreleased tracks off his long awaited next album. He sounded like no one else at  Ultra and managed to leave everyone who witnessed his set blown away. Enjoy!

With the incredible Ultra Music Festival wrapping up it’s first of 2 historic weekends we are starting to get our hands on some of the live sets. Ultra Music Festival 2013 Phase 2 Full Lineup : Huge Lineup 80+ Electronic Acts, Different Festival Each Weekend

Wow, Ultra Music Festival in Miami did it again, they have pretty much just about every big DJ in the world on this lineup. This follows up the previously announced Phase 1 Lineup. For Phase 2 above is only the 20 added additional headliners. The headlining DJ’s that were added (in alphabetical order): Alesso, Benny Benassi, Dog Blood (Skrillex + Boys Noize), Eric Prydz, Fedde Le Grand, Hardwell, Laidback Luke, Luciano, Nicky Romero, Porter Robinson, Pretty Lights, Steve Aoki, Sven Vath, & Zedd. The additional live acts added were Azalia Banks, Faithless, Sleigh Bells, Snoop Dogg, & The Weeknd.

Keep in mind that is just the headliners, also announced is the majority all of all 80+ other acts, look below at the second part of the graphic for those.
